perhaps wrapping some pink or blue ribbon around the wire might help with the illusion? If I make this I'll probably end up doing that to hide the wire a little bit. Still turned out gorgeous tho! 💖
You should be a costume designer for film. You have a great eye and an awesome imagination! If you aren't already involved, some indie films could certainly use your talent.

Also if your able definitely add in some copper details! I always felt it bring would out her hair more then gold! Also could make the cape look more expensive too. I hope one day, maybe you can try the Barbie Villain costume DIY videos characters like Odile's Ballet Dress, Lydia's muse dress, Dame Devin's glitter dress, and Duchess Rowena's dress. In the book, Lydia wore 2 dresses, she wore a white dress before she became wicked muse.
If anyone has good wire recommendations in a similar gauge or strength to this kind of wire could you link below? I've been looking and can't find any :(
