This video is part of a monthly series on my channel in which I build a character voted by my community and show what they can do when they are heavily invested. Ningguang is a character that has major potential, but cannot have it unlocked due to her buggy mechanics and being attack scaling. However I looked past these flaws and made possibly one of the best Ningguang in Genshin Impact.

No..then she'd not have been accessable to lot of players . Being 4 star makes her lot easier to get

She was supposed to be a 5 star but then noelle would be the only 4 star so they had to make her to. 4 star

I always said that they could make some reactions with geo... like wind and geo could cause a blinding effect (sandstorm) geo and hydro (mud) can cause sloth in the opponent's movements or keep them motionless for 2 seconds or sumn... and for shit like blooming... geo, hydro and dendro it can cause a reaction (overgrowth) which causes a certain % more dendro cores to be created... I'm not expecting geo to react with every other element but I mean there reactions that can be justified with geo that would make it fun to use geo more often 😐🤷🏾‍♂️

i belive the based concept of Geo was to provide a lot of units with great numbers without reactions (almost all Geo-DpS have really big numbers by themself) that can "tank" on field with the Geo crystal shields forever. And in all the honest is not a bad concept but really dont aged well. If you compare Ningguang with all the units that come on the start of the game until her patch. She is a great unit, probably the strongest 4* in terms of raw power (while Xiangling was the best in terms of reaction damage). You can put her in any team and her elemental Burst alon can take atleast 30% of the bar of any boss without hyper invesment, just the right stats. But well elemental reaction powercreep make all Geo units look like a joke, as failed concept as Physical (Aka Cryo) carries are. Both ideas work very well (not suprise in a game so easy as Genshin, you just dont stop playing and your units will outgrowth all the mobs under level 100. But if you compare them with standards reaction teams (Specially against reaction teams with the element that is favored each new region) you see them as a bad joke.

@@KaiserTheDarkWolf agreed... I don't dispute that... But the lack of reaction is what makes it boring to play which is the point I'm making... I'm just saying that as far as reactions go, geo has untapped potential... Like I said, even if they were to limit geo reactions to buffs and debuffs alone, it would make them much more fun to add into one's team

@@christiophermodeste8666 As far as we know Navia wants to change how the Geo reaction is used. She "used" the crystals as a resource that can be spend. Making kinda pointless in mono Geo and (probably) far better than any other Geo unit in the game in terms of splashing other elements. So maybe the future Geo Units will be more interesting in meta perspective.

@@KaiserTheDarkWolf oh that would be a good mechanic... Like causing the geo crystals to explode causing an aoe attack that would be equivalent to 25% of the geo user's attack instead of 25% resistance correlating to the attribute that was crystalized... Not saying that's the mechanic you're speaking of but when u mentioned it, that was the 1st idea that came to mind 🤔

But yeah she 100% will be the first Geo unit that actually cares about using other element constanly and using Crystal in her gameplay. Which is cool for the people that like Geo and but want to try something different in that element.

Tbh I enjoy playing her bc she can knock opponents on their ass with her mora while observe from afar.😂 Basically love geo for that, can just go brrrr with them since they are not resonating with anyone anyway.

It makes sense that she is only a 4* character if Mihoyo made her as a 5* she will be so powerful than the archons.

Was that guy who said Ning is really bad serious? Probably just wanted to piss people off which is a said goal in life. Everyone should know by now that Ning can be classified as being extremely close to a 5 star character.
