After the first quarter, I'm always thinking "Wow. A giant pile of trash. There's no way he makes it look as good as the movie." Then the last quarter, "Wow. Okay. I am sorry for ever doubting you. Stunning."
i’m a film major at penn state. the amount of extraneous editing techniques he used in this video probably made it take 2 times as long to finish. this makes the video a masterpiece. appreciate the art that the video is and tell him how much you loved the extra effort he put in. tell him how much you enjoyed seeing it so that he continues to do it. tell him how you appreciate that the video quality has been going up as he gains subscribers. do it now.
THIS comment exactly!!! More like 10x longer 😂 it's insane how every little bit of the video has some unique bit of editing about it, every single second is jam-packed with a seamless transition, good joke, or funny sound effect
This production is so well made that it could be easily be a TV series that I would love to watch. So creative, fun and charismatic, like no other - cudo for the creator!
*_The production, the script, the editing, the soundtrack, and finally, the magnificent end result. This guy is a legend! Ladies & gentlemen, this is the definition of ART._*
I was disturbed that there was a stunning lack of horseshoes but was relieved when they were used for the tower. Another build well worth the wait for.
Holy hell I dont think people realize how much effort you put into these videos, the little songs you make, the editing, GOD THE EDITING. Not to mention the absolute pieces of art that you make, truly something special. It's some of the best production I have seen on RU-vid, definitely subbing.
No no we notice. That’s why we like him. Him and brutalmoose clearly put so much time into their videos that it explains their inconsistent and lengthy breaks between uploads and I’m never disappointed by it.
I am BLOWN AWAY by the quality of your videos. Not only are your crafts gorgeous, but your camera work, editing, and scripting are all amazing. I'm basically never bored because there's always something interesting and funny happening on screen or in your voiceover. And this goes on for the ENTIRE VIDEO.
This man truly has shown that he can literally start with anything, and come up with some sort of masterpiece. By which he can have glue and plastic containers, and come up with a baby. Honestly... Studson you have true talent! And this is coming from a massive.. obsessive.. Ghibli fan!
It is so sad how many people have never even heard of studio ghibli, I'ma need to invite all the Bois to some kinda watch party so we can enjoy mononoke, Totoro, ponyo, and of course that other one that I forgot the name of!
@@bryanwells4063 Yeah it is sad… which is why I would like to start a massive party where we can invite everyone to watch Ghibli movies hehe! Agree with the idea!
@@BobTheAwesomeBob Those films are AMAZING! Absolute masterpieces… honestly, watch as much Ghibli films as you can in your lifetime. Because there incredible
Oh my GOODNESS, your videos somehow get better everytime, even when I think it's not possible. The editing style and dry humor are a top notch combination haha. Watching your channel grow over the years has been an absolute treat ✨️ Also I'm finally in the song!! That's so exciting 😄😄
Hi Studson, my family and I want you to know how much we appreciate you. We love how you mention your mistakes and you have to try again or just learn to accept the non perfect (when it looks pretty perfect to us.) You are such a great role model. We also want you to know how much we appreciate your artistry. We have watched other builders who use mostly clay and even 3d printers. While these styles are still worthy, what you do with recyclable materials is TRUELY amazing. Another great example of what a wonderful role model you are by using what is available and not always running out to the store to buy which does cost the environment. We understand why you don't post more but we are always waiting and watching.
I rarely comment on videos, but I just want to tell you how much I loved watching this video! Beside your creativity for finding the right trash, your creativity for funny transitions and jokes is amazing. Thank you for creating such wonderful videos and making me laugh ♥
The amount of effort he puts into making these videos is just astonishing. Making the craft, interesting editing, fun script lines, YOU ARE AMAZING don't stop never stop
WHY DOES THIS NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS WTF!! It's always amazing to see you pull off such incredible designs, but the fact that it all originates from random garbage makes it even more insane. Beautiful!!
Howl’s Moving Castle is my exact aesthetic of chaotic houses, i’d like a list, so if anyone can think of more crazy houses please comment them please because they’re so pretty 😍 like the Weasley’s Burrow, The Little Nightmare ship, What Remain’s of Edith Finch’s house,
this is more of general category but there are also cabinets of curiosity (the pre-museum type not the film anthology) which are basically just rooms crammed full of stuff to display
I won’t lie, I do watch this video as a comfort video. But when I watch it I always have to watch Howl’s Moving Castle right after, but then watching the movies makes me want to watch your videos. It’s a constant cycle.
Your editing style and personality is why your my favorite hobby RU-vidr. Absolute masterpieces every time. And you’re getting even better at it. I really hope you recognize how incredible you are!
I just thought you might enjoy learning my husband and daughter spent all of Thanksgiving painting while I worked on dinner. Then during the after dinner painting session, she declared, "I'm going to do a dry brush!" When my husband offered to help, she replied, "No, I watched the videos (yours), I know how to do it." She's 4.5. Thank you for being such a positive influence and channel we can watch with her and inspire her.
This dude just seems like a really great human being. He's got beaucoup talent in art, music, comedy, and storytelling, and seems to be really gracious in that he shouts out other RU-vidrs and patrons. I wish I knew you. Thanks for this pre-Thanksgiving video and I hope you and everyone who celebrates have a good Americans-having-an-excuse-to-eat-to-excess-even-though-we-do-that-year-round Day!
your crafts are legitimately awe inspiring and the way you manage to edit in hundreds of silly memes and sound effects while maintaining this chill vibe is incredible!
To think Studson consumed over 40lbs of mayo JUST for this video. Incredible. Your dedication inspires me. (Seriously though, great job, your crafts always inspire me! Your editing also makes my brain water. Like making my mouth water just... in my brain.)
16:39 moments like this feels like watching cartoons growing up and being able to tell what object would be used because it was different than the water color background
Day 15 of me trying to finish watching this without falling asleep within the first 5 minutes. Studson, your videos have helped me relax and rest for weeks now and I’m truly grateful for that. Your editing and the effort for all of this is so inspiring. Who’d have thunk your childhood video making adventures would lead you to this!? Excited to see the next chaotic episode to add to my nightly relaxation playlist 🤣💕
Dude. Your videos are probably the only thing that makes me grateful for the packaging madness of humanity. Besides the stunning results of your work, the editing combined with your sense of humor is pure comedy gold! Thank you very much for the hundreds of hours creating these masterpieces, you trash hoarding dragon!
I was thinking "I'll be so sad the day he runs out of tiny horse shoes" but then I remembered that you have an infinite supply. Wondeful build, as always!
My kids is sick, not feeling well, he is very interested in architecture, he watched this video of the film while laughing, after watching this video his illness healed, it is amazing.
The editing in this one is a macalin truly top tier!... I was very butt hurt because I had given myself an estimate of how many rhyme stones you had put I got 2163 I guess I'm wrong but not too far off
@@StudsonStudio even though im not interested in anime or this arts and craft?/model making?, i've watched many of your videos from beginng to end. thats how you know you make good content. thank you, sir.
At first I was worried, worried that you wouldn't have a new project. I was worried for nothing. Of course it took a while to make a new video, it was a project of love and care. You can tell because this video is amazing.
10:48. 469 on one side, times 2 for the other side assuming they are symetical is 937, 216 for the front, and as you can't see the back in the 360 rotation im just doubling that to 416, add those two together, you have 1,802. There's approximately 1,802 rinstones on the Castle :) Edit: nevermine. That was a waste of my time and now I'm sad 24:40 I still want a "wow" for my efforts 🤬
Belbe here! This was one of the best spent hours of my life watching something ever XD God, I love how much care and effort you put in everything. I cracked up so many times during the video, learned things, whispered "stipple that goop", finger-gunned when the horeshoes came out, and felt my jaw dropping further and further the more your trashpillar budded into a glorious trasherfly. You're my favorite crafter from all of RU-vid. Your work is so wholesome, funny, lovely to follow along with, and you care a lot for your community. I'm glad you're on here and having the opportunity to make things like these. I hope there's many more years to come. Thank you for your awesome content
Now that you mention scale, just remembered I meant to include a comparison shot of both castles, whoops! The flying version is a cute tiny baby next to big papa.
Amazing! I really wish there were neverending versions of this castle so you could do these forever, seriously. Excited to see what you'll make next time! maybe It's howl's moving shrek swamp and there's a mutant Epona stable attatched to it idk hahahahahaha
@@StudsonStudio I add on to the praise, cause your creations and videos are sublime! BUT I need your help, I have been racking my mind and the interwebs for a good hour now trying to find the game the tune at 21:13 is from...I'm stuck..my mind is stuck..STUCK!
I suffer from anxiety, and it gets worst especially during night time. When it happens I always come back to one of your videos; watching (and rewatching) them always helps me calm down and fall asleep :'> This is one of those time, And i felt the need to let you know how much your amazing work means to me 💛
I was incredibly surprised with how relaxing the assembly portion was. I totally zoned into the video until my cat made a noise in the laundry room and I realized how little tension there was in my body. 12/10 best video i've watched on youtube in a while
your craft is fantastic, and i don't just mean your builds. the way you edit, the attention to detail, the clever way the script and your delivery keeps the video engaging -- it all comes together into a gorgeous art piece of a video. every one of your videos is a gift, and i can't wait to rewatch this one until the next!
Your growth as a storyteller and film maker has been a delight to watch. You evolve with every video. Thank you for these wonderful works of craft and imagination. And for your glorious desk landfill.
Where have you been all my life? This is the most remarkable bit of scratch building I've ever seen, and enhanced beyond measure by the humorous narration and excellent music. If I wasn't so old and poor, you would have a new patron, but I'm afraid I can only be a new, and very grateful subscriber.
That opening planning section was beautifully shot, felt very Ghibli movie-esque. I am now imagining Howl sitting in his cottage in the flower field painting with a spatula all day, that's obviously the sequel we need. Never know how you manage to pack as many details into your edits as you do in your miniatures, both your videos and crafts are just getting better and better every time! Mind-blowing work as always (and I very much enjoyed that the back propellers spin!)~
Thank you, as always! I'm sure Howl has a whole collection of spatulas somewhere in the clutter of his room. The mini cooking spatula is the underrepresented keystone in the artist's toolkit. If weeks had eight days, I'm sure the mini spat would have had a devoted day in your 'Improving your painting in a week' video.
In the assembly stage, everything fits like it was meant to be there But i know how much effort it took to source for the materials and design the pieces to fit perfectly Kudos to you!!❤️
as a sucker for all things intricate and in perfect details, this video genuinely made my day, I was so happy watching it from start to finish, assembled and made meticulously, xxxxtra plus points for the enjoyable editing! Such an amazing work, you outdid yourself ❤❤🔥
Seriously. Your ability to see what you want from the junk you save is so impressive. Like making the little door from the corner of the bottom of vanilla extract. Just... wow.
your first howls moving castle build is one of my comfort videos that i watch when i can't sleep and i'm so glad i can add this video to the list! thank you for all that you do, your build is amazing!
THE WAYYY THEY HEARD ME SCHREEECH FIVE HOUSES OVER WHEN YOU SHOUTED ME OUT! 😆😆😆 THANKS! My fav part is the bobble head motion of the castle in the assembly montage. Also your Patrons Killed it!
Thank you - as ever, that was a funny, informative and entertaining video which showcases your skills in planning, scrounging, construction, painting, filming, editing and scriptwriting. Most importantly though, your talent at recognizing the right shape needed from 'base materials' and your willingness to deviate from strict canon, but still crate a completely recognizable Ghibly castle shows your true skill and your love for these creations. Merry Christmas and thank you again for making the world a nicer place to be in.
It's rare in this day and age that one takes time to just stop and watch something without interruption or distraction. This was so impressive I did just that. Truly incredible work.
I know nothing about the Show this (or the other castle builds) were based on but the whole process of modeling, building and painting combined with the wit and commentary keeps me rewatching these over and over. Its truly inspiring to see someone share their passion and skills such a clever and expressive way. 10/10 Horseshoes...
Man, I got the biggest grin on my face when I saw the horseshoes. Idk why, but they're just such an iconic part of the things you make. Happy to see them return
Ok I must say. I’m 4 minutes in and the quality of this video is fantastic. I can’t imagine how long building this and creatively filming/editing it took. Good stuff.
i am almost to tears. your original howls moving castle video became a comfort video i watched for cozy vibes and soft music when i was upset or down, and now i have a part two of your lovely voice over amazing crafting. thank you studson for this treat
This throws me back to when i firstfound this channel through the first howls moving castle. Thank you for getting me into the world of making cool things out of trash!
I am having a hard time coming up with words...this whole production is just brilliant! From the actual moving castle to the editing and all the content in this video, truly masterful!!! I guess I live under a rock, because I haven't heard of this movie, but the rock has been lifted and I am going to find this movie and watch it!! This has also inspired me to use all the bits of junk I find and collect to create something. Thanks for the entertaining video and inspiration!!
I love these long form videos, it amazes me how you can maintain the same vibe and feel as your shorter videos. I imagine it'd be easier to include fewer editing tricks and jokes in a video this length, but I applaud you for going the extra mile with every video, regardless of length
Your original video of Howl's Moving Castle was one of the reasons I started doing RU-vid craft builds myself! Thank you for continuing to inspire us all!
There is not a single other channel on RU-vid that brings me as much serotonin and peace as your videos do Studson ❤ Forever a massive fan of your work and your amazing videos, thank you for being so gahdamn magical.
Massive thank you for having proper captions on your videos! It no doubt makes your job harder but honestly it makes all the difference to me so thank you for the extra effort :)
It’s crazy how much love went into this: the patron song, the jokes, and gags, the fantastic craftmanship, the voice-over. EVERYTHING is perfect and professional, but still goofy. Keep it up!
I am absolutely flummoxed by your ability to create truly awe-inspiring art from trash all while showing absolute master skills in everything from video editing to singing. Oh, and making me laugh out loud so often the cats leave the room in disgust.
Wow, you did an absolutely fantastic job on this I can't even imagine the amount of hours that went into this. love the humour and style of your videos its definitely something I draw a lot of inspiration from.
I love this man’s voice, he’s also hilarious. I want to be able to make things like this but I don’t have enough trash and skill, I may be artistic but now THIS artistic.
I appreciate all the effort you have to make to make everything seem so effortless. Top quality crafts, top quality editing, top quality banter. The bit that finally took me out this time was "I have a case of shingles" 😂
I've watched your videos for a long time, you're what got me into crafting videos! I just love that I can watch an incredibly detailed Ghibli build with Chopin playing in the background 💜
You know its gonna be a good day, when the first thing you see in the morning is the notification, that Studson has uploaded a new video! As always a stunningly beautiful build and crazy cool editing! The crafting tip I'm picking up from this video is that I'll never throw away lollipop sticks again! Sending lots of love and appreciation for your hard work! I just hope this project didn't drain your creative energy too much
Seriously one of the best videos I’ve watched in a long long time. It’s clear you love all parts of the process that go into making a video like this… all time favorite craft video! And I watch a ton of the you tooobs!
This is truly amazing! Also I love how you add “wonk” to things, I’m a 3D animation student and one of my teachers taught us to always add “wonk” to our objects that we sculpt! So cool!
