I'll tell you right now CSGO is 100% harder. I get diamond in Valorant with some effort. I've recently (about 3 weeks) been putting my heart and fucking soul into CSGO and i'm Silver Master and just now feeling confident and know that i'll start climbing now. Practicing line ups, learning where to hold, each gun pattern is somewhat the same in both games, but what isn't the same is how fast CSGO movement is and how damn hard it is to air strafe past a beginner level. On top of that counter strafe and gun inaccuracy is SOOOOO much more punishing in CSGO. Add to the fact that everyone is equals because it's not about abilities but utility and at the end of the day even if you are flashing people in and setting up all the util you need to be able to get in and rifle. And don't get me started on the Deagle difference in both games. I love it in Valorant, you need to be feeling it in CSGO or its going to make you bite your hand off. In contrast, in Valorant you can get away with mastering one agent type and climb well. I always just played controller and smoked because the jobs is insanely impactful, can be used to 1vX, and you get UNLIMITED SMOKES. Not to mention you can smoke from literally any position. You never ever have to take a risk to get high reward for your action. I've never had to practice more for a game in my life and i'm Onyx 1750 halo (Halo 5 got champ in 4 different modes, Was contracted coach for USF College team, Coached LUXE Org before the scandal) Diamond with some effort in Val, Was offered to join a pro team in Splitgate (Mikaveli's team specifically if you know anything about that game you know him), and was aiming to go pro if Battalion 1944 had popped off back in the day (god i actually fkin loved that game).

Tips to be successful in this semi-rigged game: 1) Use utilities and actually touch them with it (e.g. smoke, or if you can't such as sage heal himself, just use anyway) - do not dry peek it doesn't work in this game no matter how good your aim is as the game is made like that (unless your team is losing hard e.g. 0-4) 2) Do not engage a gunfight on: the last enemy standing, low hp enemy, knife wielding enemy, when an enemy is switching gun or right after they use a utility unless you use a utility on him 3) Do not use more than 1 utilities on an enemy - the game will punish you for utility misuse. 4) Some rounds are designed for your team to whiff and some rounds are designed for the enemy team to 'aimbot' where they suddenly one tap and this information is useful to keep the positivity of your team.
