"The creation of the gold pattern begins with the placement of a circular silver sheet within an empty ultrasonic cleaner. Delicately, a thin layer of 14-karat gold dust is meticulously sprinkled upon the surface of the silver sheet. Upon activating the ultrasonic cleaner, the silver sheet initiates a subtle vibration, causing an exquisite pattern to emerge within the glistening gold dust. This intricate phenomenon, known as cymatic or Chladni patterns, unveils the harmonious dance between sound and matter.
Once the mesmerizing pattern has taken form, I carefully lift the silver sheet adorned with the cymatic gold design and place it upon charcoal. Through a meticulous process of heating, the silver and gold begin to meld together, imbuing the creation with a sense of unity and elegance. Subsequent rounds of heating and pickling refine the piece further, allowing me to mold it into the desired shape with precision and finesse.
