I've started to react to people being negative or toxic by saying something like "Im not going to respond if you are unable to vocalize criticism in a constructive way, feel free to try again though." Sounds dumb but I say it calmly and normally they either just don't say anything else or they try again. Oddly enough it helps me to. I had bad anxiety and stopped playing online games. But it feels like you are setting a line for yourself in what you will deal with and helps me realize that I don't have to give in or respond to negativity.
@@vh8542 i could try that but honestly i havent played apex in a long time, i kinda stopped because 99% of the time someone speaks its just negativity and since i dont really have friends to play with it just kinda killed the love i had for the game

Yeah me too I get some toxic teammates on random matchmaking. I only play solo so yeah it's happen to me too they only talk sht cause when you drop on some places they don't like and started talk crazy sht like for real bro.

i've noticed i get a lot more toxic randoms whenever i pick catalyst and it's incredibly sad for them... like i've had randoms that will purposefully throw fights or leave the game or be outright transphobic to me and i'm like... if you dislike a buncha pixels so much just stop playing yknow?
