I make these croissants every morning! Breakfast in 10 minutes! Quick and delicious❗️
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of puff pastry (approx. 275 g) 🥐
- 200 g ham, thinly sliced 🍖
- 150 g processed cheese 🧀
- 1 egg yolk, beaten 🥚
Preparation:
1. Preparation: Preheat the oven to 200°C (or 180°C for fan ovens). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into equal triangles. The size of the triangles depends on how large you want the croissants to be.
3. Fill: Place a slice of ham 🍖 and a small dollop of processed cheese 🧀 on each triangle.
4. Roll: Roll up the triangles from the wide end to form small crescents.
5. Egg yolk: Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking tray. Brush them with the beaten egg yolk 🥚 to give them a golden color.
6. Bake: Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
7. Serve: Remove the finished croissants from the oven and let them cool slightly. They taste best when warm.
