The Derby County side of 2007/08 is widely regarded as the worst team in Premier League history.
In the 38-game season, the Rams only secured a single win and finished the season on a record-low 11 points coupled with a -69 goal difference.
And thanks to the amazing Mad Scientist’s custom database, we can try and keep them in the Premier League in today’s video.
If you didn’t know there is a fully playable custom database for the 2007/08 season that will have players like Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United, Ronaldinho at Barcelona and even PES hero Adriano at Inter Milan.
This database comes with 11 playable leagues full of the correct data for the 2007/08 season including three playable leagues in England.
So can we avoid the worst season in Premier League history and attempt to keep Derby in the league?

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

@@HoodGamingUK I think like a long-term game where each season is a new vid presented as you've done here (month-by-month). OmegaLuke has done that in the past and it's been cool to watch. But just an idea. Love your content regardless

Beat Derby 6-0 with Everton with Cahill getting a hat-trick in the first 13 minutes and Arteta missing a penalty on opening day. Giles Barnes was a wonderkid around these editions.

Enjoying the build-a-tactic element of it. Maybe it could be a fun challenge for you to have, say, 3 minutes to build the tactic you have to stick with during a rebuild.

That was a fantastic rebuild, you did amazing in getting Derby relegated 😂😂 But sacking you after this amazing achievement, gutted as am sure you could have easily done as amazing in the Championship 😂

Your first mistake was going cautious that never works. If you at least went balanced I feel you would’ve stayed up

Honestly yeah, I mean there’s no guarantee but playing negatively just doesn’t work in fm from my experience

I think cautious can work for one off games, but I’ve also found it never really works when used consistently.

@@HoodGamingUK Cautious works with a good, fast team. Have won the league using it. Not sure about a bad, Average paced team. Probably also need 2 strikers or at least an AM for the counterattacks.
