STEPHANIE'S HUSBAND ALERT :) There is a lot of questions from you about Stephanie's husband and the fact you'd like to see him. We have made an entire film about him and it's available here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IpgSHLj9flM.html
@@nevaeh5941 if you watched this movie you would know that this village doesn't need anyone's help. They are sustainable, they are happy. But If they do require help I'm sure it was provided...
Also like how she didn't disrespect the Western folks either knowing how less in touch they are with genuine love and appreciation for real life and nature.
I so respect her, her responses afe so pure and real. I really love nature n culture. Wish we can all go back n live such life. I still cook outside with woods n i love doing that. If we dont have electricity at home i do not panic i know what to do.
I would build it no problem I like hard work but what put me off is actually cow sh.... they touch with hands and very little access to Water to wasch their hands then. with all respect for them I wouldn't he able for.it
yes but they are putting the cow dung on the houses. their houses are basically made of shit. Um this is not good. Please bring on the cement, wood, steel anything to build better houses. I am getting nervous just watching this.
I'm really impressed. What I love about Stefanie's life is that it is so simple. She doesn't waste her time for make up ( yet she looks so beautiful), she doesn't have to tidy up her house for hours like we do in Europe, there are only the most necessary things in her house. Then she has time to enjoy nature, for loving relation with her family and neighbours and simply to enjoy life.
I always try to tell my wife that she needs to muck horse stalls to learn about horse dung. When you learn about horse dung first then you learn about cow dung, you will never see human scat the same again.
I’d rather “keep up” with her than the Kardashians. She is fascinating in my opinion. Would love to get more content from her family/other members in the community.
I agree. Whilst I appreciate the person wh made the film so it's here for us to see, I couldn't help buy think she has a rather odd attitude, in her responses to things.
I’ve been to Tanzania and lived with the Maasai people for a few weeks. Most people in America or the west would say they were poor but these people are rich. It just depends on how you look at it. They pay no taxes and live on the land for free. Everything they have comes from the land. If they need something they trade for it at their local market. If a family owns 50 cows and 200 sheep and goats they are considered very rich. Just look at how much 50 cows would go for in the US.
I watched this video 2 years ago... this woman is amazing! she's wonderful and I think the way she sees/view the Maasai people is so inspiring... when she was crying she meant a lot... May God bless her, she's real.
In the USA 🇺🇸 sometime we complain a lot not having. I love this documentary... I appreciate things like sanitary pads freely running hot and cold water. May God bless this culture You are full of love laughter strength and joy ☀️☀️😊😊🙏🏽🙏🏽
“If you gave the world to them in would still be intact.” “They know how to live sustainably.” Her respect for the Masai people is overwhelming and from my short time in Kenya, I so agree.
I can’t believe this came up. I met this lovely lady and her husband travelling in Tanzania. We kept coming across each other on our travels and she was always really lovely. I remember us getting off a long coach ride and I didn’t have a room booked back in Dar Es Salaam so she invited me to share a taxi and took me to their hotel. She surprised the taxi driver bargaining for the fare as he was trying to overcharge us, and he didn’t realise she could speak Swahili. I always thought she was very very kind and it was a blessing to have met her.
I really loved how she respected her husband's culture, because instead of trying to change the way things are, she just acted like one of them. And i love how the Massai are conservative of their culture and surroundings. "If the world was in their hands we wouldn't worry about anything" I loved that statement!!
Yeah you can tell the one doing the interview was trying to push some loaded questions. Most of her questions seemed gender themed honestly. All her question was just how can we push for western believes into these folks?
@@jakeleo4518 How can you not ask these questions, if you know their culture it's inevitable... In the Maasai culture the women have less value than cattle, they are oppressed and abused - and especially if you are a woman, of course you are going to be interested in this. Not every culture is worth respecting, and not all aspects of a culture need to be respected.
Why people always seeing things one way , remember that is how these people come in talking nice then destruction.no black person can go in a white community and do this ,
I love how much she loves her husband and does not push him to follow modern standards. She is respectful to his culture. People like her are rare these days.
Helping the women with their personal sanitary issue is such a wonderful thing you are doing for these women. God bless you for being so caring and adaptable. You are amazing.
She's very naive. They are hemmed in by modern culture. That is why Maasai warriors are no longer Maasai warriors. She would not be saying that 100 years ago.
I felt that comment too. She hit it on the nail. It is what was meant to be for a ppl; however, many (Western) seem to think their way is better and accept all the evil and conflicting strategies that come with their way.
I'm maasai from Kenya Narok county and I do confirm that Stephanie telling an absolute truth. God bless you Stephanie and your family. You're just an amazing human being 😍🙏
I just adore when Stephanie is talking about the intimacies of her marriage, that it isn't about one or the other making someone do something, they themselves choose to do things knowing it will be appreciated by the other.
I love seeing the way you speak about your primary mother-in-law and the relationship you both have. I have the same relationship with my mother-in-law. She is 72, lives with us to help care for our daughter while we work, and she is the sweetest, kindest, most supportive, loving, gentle, person I could ever imagine. None of the "horror story" type of MIL behavior I see so many people talk about or deal with. She literally lives with us and I enjoy having her here and couldn't imagine life without her. We just went to get our nails done together today as a nice break. She fell and broke her femur 4 weeks ago and had a total hip replacement, and I have been caring for her while she recovers -- including bathing her in the initial weeks. I told her that's what you do when you love someone, you take care of them. I am so blessed to have my MIL as one of my best friends and that we have such a good relationship that then allows my daughter and husband to enjoy a close relationship with her as well.
Somuch for gender equality . Somuch for actual healthcare, had the masai ruled the world this woman would be dead after her birth complications . The masai do not plan effectively and when great droughts hit them they are dependent on western style aid . Ignorance is bliss and nothing proves it more than this woman. And don't get me started on her biased opinion of the culture where she loves the culture but promotes women rights to the other masai women but doesn't enforce it at home . Having been born and raised in africa myself i can honestly say that i admire africans for their big hearts and ubuntu spirit , i like african people but i dislike african cultures . My only qurk i have with the african people is their herd mentality , they do not think independently they listen to others and follow , they will even violently stone a person to death if the rights person tells them so , which is why most of africa is in a corrupt state , the masses are easily manipulated with simplistic political tactics that have died out centuries ago in european countries . I must also add that i applaud this woman, her husband and their village for this lifestyle and showing us that all humans and cultures can live in harmony as long as we respect each other.
@@woffow based on your reply to my reply you seem to not agree with reality or facts. I also loved "my little pony" as a child, but i realized life is not a cartoon with rainbows, there is this nasty thing called reality that kept meddling in with my perfect dream world.

Oglądam po raz czwarty❤ rownolegle jestem na ostatnich stronach książki, którą napisała Stephanie (książka ukazała się tydzień temu!) - fascynująca, sympatyczna kobieta! Dzięki globstory za ten film!
Loved the way she is helping Maasai women deal with their periods instead of judging their culture. I have never seen more mature individual than Stephnie.
That really hit me when she said that they are rich and she feels sorry for our planet. What a beautiful person to bring attention to such beautiful people. This was amazing to watch.
Planet aka nature has its own power to balance itself. So, don't you worry about the people destroying it. All the technology of human is nothing compared to enormous power of nature. "Saving a planet" is big scam and hoax. We human are temporary guest with uncertain future but plant is been is here from unknown period of time and will not vanish or destroy by greedy creature called human. Anyway, its easy to fool people with lies but it is very difficult to convince them that they have been deceived. Stay healthy, be kind, mind your own business.
Pozdrowienia z Polski ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇵🇱

I couldn’t agree more with what most people are saying…this lady is golden. The way she answered every question was not only respectful but you could tell it was really genuine! This was so informative and peaceful to watch.
She is faithfull in all respect and care about the present culture with the people close to her .... she never said how she manage to study the occupation and nature of the people of this village today ....! The deep study of this present occupation of the maasai with a new blood , today 2021...!
Very good documentary, as an African I'm proud of Stephanie and I'm really glad she's helping them with their period. I'm surprised they use nothing at all.
I have been in an interracial marriage for 10 years. My hubby was American and am Ugandan. I lost my husband 2 weeks ago. I had to move to our farm house, our life styles changed. My 3 kids and i. Watching this makes me feel like it's okay to live within what's available. Thank you so much.
No, this is when a woman has no clue. Let's see how that works out for her 10/20 years from now. Why is she even posting a video about this? If she's happy, let her be happy. Video is not necessary.
@@MrHoojaszczyk I agree..It’s not going to work.He will definitely marry again one day bc it is customary and demanded of his parents for him to marry a Masai woman of his own culture/tribe and have more children with his Masai wife..I’m sure she had to agree what this..
I live in Kenya and cannot believe that I randomly found this on RU-vid. She is a remarkable woman and an antithesis of sorts. Most African men/women prefer to adopt the other culture in interethnic marriages involving Europeans. If your woman is willing to follow you to your roots (something I tend to think positively affects children of African descent), then it will greatly help to heal and give children a sense of identity and pride helping them to grow up better as individuals. More of this please.
yes I think a lot of women would like to help with this because it is a hard thing to go through each month being a women and even more so there. so if there is a way to help let me know too ;)
She’s lucky to know exactly what she needs and wants. So many of us spend so much of our lives chasing the almighty dollar. And having to fight to keep others from stealing our identities, being afraid that some crazy people in congress are going to “push the button”.
Butungo! I hear this woman launched an Airbnb-style tourist enterprise that supports local health initiatives. She has set up a "cultural experience" where travellers can participate in ”real” Maasai life by living in huts and rearing cattle. BTW, her husband's name is Sokoine!
@@butungo1What makes her so special?. White women been loving dark meat lol. Stop having a god complex. She is their to infiltrate. No Masai man would marry a black woman of her age as she said they marry young with no choice. And she is his only wife laughable. And she has a child already. I hate to see them making accommodations for a white woman that they wouldn't dare make for their own. It's shameful really. Most Africans see whites as rich or better or for some they are the great white hope.
Stephine's husband is really lucky ❤️ I can't even imagine how much love can make you live their adapt their culture. He must be very proud of you ❤️ wish you both happiness and prosperity togetherness ❤️
What a beautiful, Intelligent, human being! She’s honest and sincere to herself, the culture she share with her dear husband and with the rest of the world!
@Ironic Dissident But are there still any tribal wars left nowadays? Looking at this video, things seems rather peaceful. So what do they do besides preparation for war, in their other free time?
When a woman work work and over work herself she won't be happy. A woman was made to be home working not office working. Nature do not allow that for a woman
I am an African person, born and bred in Zimbabwe. All i can say is that this woman is really amazing! If we had more people in this world with such personality ,the world will be a better place.Wow!
One of the best things I’ve ever watched. Thank you Stephanie, you are a beautiful soul and I adore that you have made your husband’s people your people (and vice versa). Long live the Maasai ❤
When she said she “has pity for us because we don’t know what it means to live a life true to ourself and a life true to the planet and life true to nature” and I must say truer words were never spoken. This was amazing to watch. God bless her ❤️❤️
A life true to the planet.... Huh she didn't mind using fuel on a jet to go to Africa ? Oh, she almost didn't survive childbirth but she didn't mind going and getting western medicine, in a western hospital, in a former colonial city ? She likes pretending she helps people with the reusable period pads, made in Europe, by White men
@@Andrew-dd6ij she made those pad, didn't she? Besides saying that she loves and respects the way Maasai live with nature does not equate to hating everything Western. Maybe, I don't know, we could learn something from each other?
"I don't feel pity for them, I feel pity for us...because we don't know how to live a life true to ourselves, a life true to our planet, a life true to our nature." ❤
They were also a little bit They were also the best of the us as a whole lot of people and the food was great as they are were really good and they were very good to us to him for a few minutes after
Brave, beautiful and honest woman. Thanx to show her on social media. Her presence here will definitely bring a huge change in the lives of masai women.
I totally agree with this simplistic truthful statement too! And she seems to be very content, extremely happy and at peace with herself and her surroundings more than most people/women throughout the world especially here in the U.S. I truly admire her! She is doing what makes HER happy! Wish I could have just half of her courage and happiness.
Yeah, It's called trading a fast and vapid hyper-consumerist lifestyle devoid of culture and tradition, for a life of ancestral culture and tradition. Unfortunately, anyone that does this in western society is labeled a nazi, and then they embrace this label, for a good reason.
@@JV-wi4dz You don't get labeled a bigot for choosing to live a traditional lifestyle. You get labeled a bigot for condemning others who choose not to conform to your lifestyle.

Really touching video when totally two different people from two different cultures came together to bound a lasting and unified culture together from this marriage, best wishes from Papua New Guinea to this great woman who chose to be a Madai
You are an amazing woman! Warm, respectful and funny! You adapt and it's not always easy, but we can see that you are happy and that your family is close to your heart! It's a great life lesson!
"He loves me; I love him". She definitely is sure of herself. What a beautiful strong woman. I would never have the courage to do what she is doing, but I respect her for being so courageous. She definitely is strong. God bless all of them.
strikes me as a bipolar idiot. Chose to live like a caveman as some sort of badge of honor like look at me, look at what I did. She doesnt love her husband he is an instrument, she loves her self. This was 27 minutes of her bragging about her self. MY husband, my husband, my husband its like she doesnt even know his name, only cares that he's maasai, its an image thing for attention. Like smoking with a mow hawk and tattoos. One day this will get old and the excitement will fade and she will put her kids through hell trying to make her self happy again.
@@Imakebootysclap get over yourself!!🙄 And how dare you call her a bipolar idiot. So rude and insulting to those with the condition. She is not bragging. She is simply showing her home and life to the interviewer. She also shows a lot of heartfelt emotion because she loves her husband, his family and their community. If she was doing it all for show and for herself she wouldn’t have lasted long. 9 years pretty much proves she’s genuine and in it for the long haul. Keep your useless and pointless and mean comments to yourself.😡
She didn’t seem so sure that her husband would not get a second wife later on... Wait another 10 years, if she hasn’t giving him more children, the peer pressure from other villagers may convince the husband to get a second wife. Hopefully I’m wrong but...
Me neither. It just started playing after being idle for a while... this is such a selfless and considerate woman . I totally agree with @Afghan Style, she's one in a billion
