Refreshing to see an Indian/part Indian/ Indian origin man as a hero in a love story set in a different cultural environment. I think he was testing her loyalty by not giving away his truth at the outset, letting her believe he was poor. The narcissistic ex smelled her doubts and almost convinced her, a moment she would have regretted for sure. Her mother's face had unwilling compromises written all over it. Glad she chose a different path!

The actors that played the parents also were exceptional, especially the father, who has screen presence and can carry any scene alone. I complement your choice of music and especially the choice of vocal music. That things all worked out for the story, shows the wisdom of life lessons. You should never marry a cheater. I can see this marriage lasting forever for with such an emotional beginning and the trust that was established from the very beginning, there is no way that it can fail.
