Most important thing I learned though is... just have fun lol. I personally would just play what sounds cool to you, go with crazy combos and things you usually wouldnt be able to play on general ladder. 🫡
I wonder if this mode is going to ruin standard Snap mode for a lot of people. Going back to worrying about losing cubes and when to Snap. I know it's the core of the game, but It's so nice to just PLAY the game without that hanging over you... it's just more fun and enjoyable. Like you said - play what sounds cool.
NGL, I felt dirty just watching cozy play MGG. Also cozy probably used up all of his luck to make sure nimrod didn't get targeted a single time that one game. Madness
I ran the math, there was a 4.76% chance of that happening that way. And if he had hit even one Nimrod then the odds for every subsequent hit would have been so much worse since there would be more Nimrod targets... Wild stuff.
@cozysnap dude I was just chilling and realized I played you today and didn’t even realize it until now. That’s probably my favorite game of snap ever so thanks again for the game and all the great content.
Actually such a fun gamemode tho like its so refreshing and way better than the deadpool event bc they actually changed the game and how it works. Need the devs to know how good this was and to do more things like it!!!
This mode is exactly how Deadpool's Diner should have been. Low/no stakes, dumb fun. I am guessing/hoping that Deadpool's diner won't have a new card locked behind it, if they want to keep the bub gambling mechanic behind it. So getting our new free card through this mode/event is perfectly fine by me. Also, watching your Gambit dodge the Nimrod felt cathartic after watching the video where your Gambit kept sniping Wolverine.
I had a moment yesterday when my opponent played doc ock & pulled my doc which pulled his Odin which pulled my odin... lol we filled that lane quick & practically the same cards. 😂
Dude, high-voltage is just so much fun and we could just experiment in so many different ways. It’s such a refreshing mode. I hope it comes back sooner rather than later.
@@4ndytrout46 I'm almost always playing Shaw on turn 3 because I build him up in my hand/deck with Gwenpool, nakia absman, grandmaster, misery, phastos.. so I'm a bit harder for you to plan against.
@@batmanwins5701 not really. Shaw is not the only thing tipping me off that you're playing surfer. As long as I don't have priority I just SK one lane and Shang another. Good chance I hit what I need to.
@@4ndytrout46 yeah but I'm buffing turn one playing misery and stuff turn two to buff my hand some more. I almost never reveal first. My only worry is alioth or just straight up getting beat by points.
I love it. I'm running a Doom/Ultron build for most of it, but I think I'll just go balls out in the last 3000 to the Iron Man variant since I unlocked Agony tonight. Try some stupid combo decks. I think we should petition for them to run a High Voltage mode at least every other month or quarterly. No cards for you looks like a blast if you're in a hateful mood and just want to vent some frustration through imposing misery on the opponent.
Unfortunately I was looking forward to watching this video too, but now I can’t watch half of it because the gameplay is so disgusting… I HATE GAMBIT! Zero skill 😢
I feel so isolated like I loved dead pools diner it was amazing for me and im really not feeling the new event although I do wish they would put high voltage where conquest is it works better there its funner and a 3 minute game is alot better then 20
In a quick fun mode though, Gambit decks are just the opposite. Especially when you play cards for the first turn or two and then they only play a few cards on the last and "win". Not sure why other cards were cut out of this mode specifically for balance and fun but then something like gambit was left in. *shrug* I just leave most of those matches, not worth the time.
I was running a Thor Lockjaw deck that was super fun, especially with alioth and grand master. So many combos shut down and cycling big cards is also fun.
High Voltage is great and definitely the best game mode but Deadpool's Diner gets a bad rep Echo chamber said it was terrible on day one and spent all their gold. but really it was casual too, easy to farm bots, and i got max reward with no gold spent im looking forward to diner 2.0 personally
im so enjoying this casual game mode as conquest and rank can get stale having FUN with new decks ect with easy rewards big W in my books as a relative new player to snap im sure enjying this mode in other words they knock this game mode out the park hope it comes back
Anyone playing decks 2 and 3 has no soul, has no heart, and is getting nothing but coal that can never be turned into a diamond for Christmas. Stop promoting people having fun by causing other people misery in this limited time fun mode. The mode isn't tryhard and it's easy to complete the dailies and get the cards. Let's all just have fun and watch our opponents have fun and pop off!! This mode is awesome!!
I am so tired of clog decks. Ever since Annihilus, these toxic decks like hazmat/Ajax, clog, etc. are so infuriating. Granted the game is about winning and having fun doing so, and i cannot deny the joy i feel cleaning someone’s side with Gambit or when i played a random disrupt deck w/ cards like Mordo, Spider Ham, etc(not in this mode though, been playing the greedy reveal). No one should feel any type of way losing in this mode though because there are no risks, nothing to lose other than a few minutes of your time. Just hop into another game. Win some, lose some.
I hate this mode so much. An absolute chore. Winning or losing is next to meaningless so it's just grinding out the tedious missions. Can't wait to be done with it.
Big warning! I just noticed High Voltage doesn't give any Season Pass XP! I know that is not a huge deal for a lot of people, but I just wanted to spread the word that time spent playing High Voltage instead of other modes is a small amount of WASTED RESOURCES...
I was loving this event with making big greedy combos. now everyone is playing alioth, cosmo, shadowking decks. Everyone hates fun I guess? Lazy counters
It doesn't matter lose or win My biggest opponent is developer With mission use 20energy 8times In my match they give me Turn1: 2 Energy Turn2: 5 Energy Turn3: 5 Energy Total Use: 19 Energy This Waste My Time 😡
I've been playing gat gambit, and just got the dream. Onslaught's citadel, Sera turn 1. Wong (Citadel) into mystique center location, onslaught (into citadel). Last turn Apoc / Scorn left in hand. Gamit into Citadel, absorbing man with mystique center, rest don't matter. Game fast forwards, their whole board is dead LOL.
Some of y’all in the comments are so toxic. The type of people to suck all the fun out of the game for others. You gotta have one sh*tty life to receive joy from sucking the fun out of a game like this for your opponents. Reply as anyone likes, anyone disagreeing with me is who i am targeting with this comment and will get no response. ✌️
Playing disruption and floodgate type of cards in a game mode with little to no repercussions for losing is major incel behavior. This is a game mode you can go all 3 turns with never having to retreat and see what your opponent can pull off along with yourself. It should be more relaxing than even proving grounds. But no, people just “have” to find ways to be annoying and obnoxious about it. Smh
@@TheRealBErhart Yeah I have also been playing Arishem in HV. I just like trying to make good plays with random cards which is why I love all the SHIELD people.
