It’s a dead giveaway when the mercy starts relentlessly defending the pocket accused of cheating. Especially when everyone else on the team is confused or agreeing that he might be cheating.

Was listening to Jays story about being on stage. If I was in that situation, man-the combo of sheer excitement mixed with all that nervousness-I wouldn't be able to aim properly because of all that pressure, knowing you have all those eyes on you watching. I wouldn't be able to focus properly and my mental would unravel lol. Got a lot of respect for these players, especially when some of them are so young.

It’s not aimlock but it’s a trigger bot. Every time he hovers over an enemy, he fires.

That Cass probably was cheating but the bot he's using seems more sophisticated than average. Looks pretty natural, just unnatural luck.

I can tell you why in quickplay. They need their 50 wins + they can tune it to not be so obvious. Met quite a few hackers while playing with friends in QP and they go afk so often you can tell they are turning the cheats, it goes from absolutely blatant to not so obvious as the game progresses. Maybe you can tune per hero too? so the 50 games is enough time to tune multiple heroes hacks.

I feel like theres multiple reasons why someone would cheat in quick play; Testing out the cheats, many in quick play aren't that great at recognizing cheats especially if subtle and such, so they could be testing them to make sure the cheats are working and aren't too obvious. If it's a new account they have to do the 50 wins to open up comp, so considering that they're cheaters, they won't even play those 50 wins fairly and want to get to comp as fast as possible; so they cheat to win faster and get to comp faster. Kinda like the first reason but without testing the cheats, people in qp are less likely to take the game seriously meaning theres a bigger chance to go undetected and be able to ruin others games more before being called out and reported. Last reason; they just want to ruin games, it doesnt matter if its comp or quick play they just want to cheat to ruin other peoples games with no other reason, they might juggle between qp and comp just to ruin games, to them it doesnt matter if its comp or qp as long as they're cheating. ( sorry for any bad english )

From my personal experience I don't usually report in QP for cheating because I feel like Blizzard probably cares more about the competitive matches but then I decide to report because that's saving someone in the comp scene from having them pop up and ruin their experience

haven't played this on pc in a minute but the xbox quick play lobbies are mainly FLOODED with xim users. im high gold/low plat and i have at least one ximmer every other game. it's ridiculous, and its even more ridiculous that blizzard refuses to do anything about it

I comment this because of @cephydash1533, he's right, clear trigger bot. He usually don't preshot to no get caught, but here 6:05 is an exemple of when there's no enemies. He's just shooting in their general direction hoping someone get in his sightline, and became really good at not get caught.

Those people talkin shite in your chat saying he's not cheating are one of three things; trolling, cheaters themselves, or in denial. Overwatch 1 was not like this. For all OW1's faults the 30 buck price tag at least slowed cheaters down enough to not just boot up a new fresh account and cheat again.

I only play qp and have been playing for years 8h a day or more at times and there's tons of cheaters in qp. No one reports them cus when u call them out people just jump you saying it's just qp and usually start making fun of you for suggesting it in first place. Prob run into 4-7 cheaters a day and prob 3 out 7 are rage hackers.

As a mercy main, I would have never healed that guy.

Crazy high damage on Cass while moving around like a potato. I have noticed a lot of cheaters look at the floor. Guessing its so their walls is less obvious.

Cheaters are running crazy in quick play mostly because they are boosting low level accounts to rank them up faster for comp, Either that or they are cheating on the account then selling it after they get so many games played.

If it is an aimbot, it’s definitely a projectile one. Notice how at 10:41 when he kills the Kiriko his cursor moves in the direction her model is moving consistently and goes just slightly beyond it? The cursor is moving to the position that the enemy’s model is likely to end up in. First it follows her to the right and he gets the first headshot, then it follows and passes her model as she barely moves over to the left for a tenth of a second before it moves back towards the right side as she again goes to the right, and that’s when he takes the second headshot. Keep in mind how slowed down the footage is. For someone to make that small of an aim adjustment in that fraction of a second only to then magically correct themselves and line up the perfect headshot without missing, the odds are simply astronomical. It’s even easier to notice when he’s playing on Zenyatta, a hero with a projectile-based weapon. Best examples are at 15:35 when he headshots 2 enemies that are moving through the air in a somewhat inconsistent direction. Again, the aimbot would be adjusting the cursor to the estimated future position of the enemy’s model. Very obvious my guy, you gotta do better if you wanna fool anyone with that sh!t. 🤨

I had the same thing happen to me in qp about 2 weeks it was a Cassidy with a pocket mercy. They both used OW 1 classic skins. It was a push map, and at the end of the match, he had about 40+ kills and 20k damage with the mercy pocket. It was the same as the Cas in this video. It is weird because it happened on console, and yeah, we have a small aimassist, but consecutive body shots with some head shots and only him killing our team. It was fishy, so we reported him and the mercy, but Blizzard doesn't care about the qp hackers.

10:48 Why in quickplay? I have reported 5-6 people this past week and gotten 4 messages so far saying blizzard dealt with them and most were quickplay. Oddly enough a lot were hanzos. Seems like there is a group of cheetos that pick a character to abuse with bots every week or so.

I always had an issue with how they check who is grouped. It's possible you can have 2 groups of 2 and a solo or a group of 3 and a 2 etc. What would be more likely a group of 4 for example or 2 groups of 2? All would say in a group and you wouldn't know what 2 are grouped.

They do it in quickplay to perfect settings and usage before going into ranked...QP has a massive problem with cheats. I have played against this exact Zenyata cheat.

That kill on the mercy isn't actually all that unrealistic, iv made that shot before. She was moving straight down, that the easiest thing to hit next to running in a straight line.

i get how the cassidy looked like a bot with their movements, positioning etc but when people were claiming they didnt miss a shot well they missed plenty. maybe i could be wrong but there was no drag in their aim from what i observed and i can only assume the only reason they had high dps was because they never died so therefore never had downtime in any of the fights.

Best way to know he's cheating is comparing him to someone like Wanted. Wanted is probably the best Cass player in OW. Just watch how both play and you'll see this guy definitely has soft aim. People think that a hacker HAS to be aimbot only, there's literally other ways to hack, not just one type of hack lmao. The way this guy plays, he has NO idea what he's doing, he stands out in the open and just spams his M1, not to mention he starts shooting at nothing to lower his accuracy lmfao.

I don't think he was cheating, but his movement made it look like so. Like Jay said, during downtime, he did the most botty movements that you wouldn't think he should be there. That, and a mercy constant pocket, are the 2 main arguments for him being a cheater.

Blizzard is doing nothing about this, they don't care even u reported. I reported over 10 cheaters and nothing popup said someone has been banned when I login the game. I would say most of cheater have a common signature that is chi....ya u know.

From the name (Jadeimp) I'd say it's a cheater, but to me it looks like he simply cranked up the "controller aim smoothing" to 120%. And this is the point that pisses me off: I can no longer distinguish who is cheating and who is just benefiting from “in-game aim assistance”? Overwatch are kinda on weird spot right now, on my Asian server which is Singapore I believe, chinese player randomly joining the server with high ping and VPN, but worst of all almost 30% on my 10 rank game I have a chance meet cheater with mercy pocket 24/7

This is a quick play regular occurrence lol. Ill have to start posting in Jay's discord because me and my friends play just about every night, and report just about one person per game. I could give you back to back replay codes with people just like this. Blizzard doesnt give a F about catching cheaters honestly. When they said they banned 250000 since OW2 launched I laughed because I bet there is easily x4 that amount currently cheating. EDIT: "Do people really not care in quick play, why dont they report?". We do, but Bliz doesnt do anything. I used to get "Thank you for reporting" almost every day, and I havent got that message in months.

For sure cheating, if you ever played gta 5 on controller and have aim assist on like 50 or 75%, when you aim and try to like drag away from where you are locked on it creates this like push and pull thing. Kinda like magnetized movement where you try to move away but its like forcing yourself to look at the character. And the same thing looks the same with the cassidy gameplay
