Paper Jamed Mario That was what I was trying to say, but I guess I didn't do a great conveying it. But yea, Weiss threw herself in front of a faunus (whom the Schnee may hate and be racist towards because a lot of them steal). She endured a hard hit from the a robot a few moments ago and this if it wasn't for her unintentional summon, she would probably have gotten another scar. This act showed how much she developed after the Blake incident and that she was able to empathize and not be racists towards the faunus.

Just wait until Season 4 when she summons Pyrrha's weapon.

Every time I get a tear in my eye. Yet nothing else really has gotten me like that. I think it's the subtle throwback to Penny and the music combination, but still. A robot has gotten me to show more emotion than any other fake character... (The only other time a movie/show has done that was the end of Terminator 2...)

K I've done the rewind on every lyric video I've done and you're the first person to tell me you don't like it. Most people think it's hilarious. Also, it's better that then super slow-mo.

Well. This is the first one I have watched. And it is a matter of opinion. So don't take is harshly or anything. I just find it odd and jarring myself. I liked it other wise though. So don't worry about it.

Not really. More like she's wondering what she's feeling with her powers. "Emotions can grant you strength" if I remember Winter saying right, her charge to Velvet's aide was what triggered the Knight's hand being summoned. Look closely, she's angry and frustrated because Velvet was hurt and nearly everyone else's attacks were barely doing a thing to the Paladin. When she got up to Velvet, she braced herself for the impact, she was pretty much prepared to take the hit to spare Velvet, which is why she's completely baffled when her unintentional summoning saved her.

Not just that. In the first season, she was somewhat self-centred (not as much as she initially appeared, but it was still there), and had a very low opinion of faunus. Here, she selflessly rushes to a faunus' defense, even though she clearly doesn't have a plan to stop the mecha and basically intends to take the blow herself (and, considering how exhausted she was earlier, probably run out of Aura to protect herself, and die). It's very possible that in overcoming most of her character flaws, and literally putting her life on the line for her friend, she was able to push herself further than she ever could before. She wasn't trying to summon, and didn't even know she was summoning anything (she's surprised by the arm), she was just desperate to do _something_. That desperation, probably more than she's ever felt in her life, is what enabled her to finally summon (a significant portion) of the knight. Hmm... alternatively, depending on how Schnee summoning works, they may have to earn the respect of their defeated foes before they gain the ability to summon them. And what better way to earn a knight's respect, than to use your own body to shield someone else?

MrOmegatronic Never thought about the respect aspect theory. Then again, remember Winter summoned an Ursa, a friendly one, mind you, and creatures of Grimm lack a soul, and in turn, most likely any sort of heart. So I don't think she'd have to earn an Ursa's respect, considering she said "Think to your fallen foes" which kinda makes earning the knight's respect moot, but the knight likely had a soul, so earning it's respect isn't too far off. It's a good idea though! Hopefully we'll see Weiss use the Knight more often, maybe even use its full-scale size.

Michael Alvarez Not sure how well the respect idea works, it's just something that came to mind. I guess it depends on whether their summons are limited to Grimm or if they can be other things (it's likely that the knight was a Geist, or something similar), and whether Schnee summoning causes fallen foes to gain a soul (or something). Or maybe it's something of a combination of the "power" and "respect" ideas, and they gain the ability to summon foes either by forcing them to show up out of raw power or earning their respect. Whatever the answer, more information will probably be revealed in the future. But yeah, I hope she uses the knight, too, seeing how it looks like the main four are going to be on the next power tier by the time they get back together (Ruby has her silver-eyed warrior powers, Weiss has her summoning, not sure what Blake & Yang will get). It'd help to keep her on the same level as Ruby, which is likely going to be important considering we're seeing stronger villains.

MrOmegatronic I don't believe the Knight was a Geist, seeing as how there weren't any visible marks on it like the golem has, i.e the face. Moreso, Ruby had to finish off the Geist with a shot to the face, most likely the only corporeal part of it, the rest of it looked ethereal, given it's ability to fly around without wings like the nevermore. Likely, the summons might fall under commands, or wills of their master. Winter could have just willed the Ursa to show up and be docile to demonstrate to Weiss, and the Knight could have been following Weiss' will to protect Velvet, then followed her will to destroy the Paladin.
