Coming up on 50. I'm 6 months from 60 and I bought a 2006 883. I didn't realize the mess I bought. Oh well. New carb, new intake gaskets, new vacuum and fuel lines . I got it running smooth. I still have the brakes to replace and flush the fluid. Oil change and then I will be ready for inspection.
Get rid of the riveted😂clutch plate so it doesn't come apart. Keep the fluids changed and it will last forever. My Sportster is 25 years old and has 400,000 miles on the original engine.
I would swap the controls on the heritage out for the newer controls.. i think they changed in 96 or 97 and stayed the same until 2017 i think. I have a 98 heritage and it is the one i will never get rid of. Absolutely love it

I dig the electric scoot. I live too far from town to own one, but I think the thing looks fun. The dyna paint aint for me, but it's a dyna, and it's supposed to be a hooligan bike. The angry pickle paintjob works for that. Heritage is more my speed, and I came really close to trying to pick up a 114 heritage recently, but ended up upgrading my 09 king to a 22 king special instead. Makes more sense for me to only have 1 bike right now and that's about the best all around bike in my opinion. Keep it up brotherrrrr!

Nah she was just riding behind to give us a better brake light. The one on the scooter is tiny. It goes 40 with me and the boy on it. 55 by myself and no sidecar.
Wow looks so much more peaceful in your new area compared to the rat race where you moved from.. not to mention I enjoy the scenery better now then before..mind you I'm a country hick so city lifestyle doesn't appeal to me unless I'm buying parts or bling bling lol.
