Warning: small rant incoming, I just want to talk about jazz. it's because of how swing eight notes are played!! I/Me/Myself uses straight eighth notes normally, where they are all the same length. in swing, however, eighth note pairs are weighted differently. each pair feels like a dotted eight and a sixteenth note, which makes the first eighth note feel drawn out (or slower) and the second shorter (or quicker!) it honestly works really well with this song and I'm glad this video exists lmao
