“My evidence, my witness, when I’m caught breaking the laws of physics” is the actual line that was replaced by the quantum physics line, though I still like this version better

I think the reason most of us (from what I can tell from the comments) prefer the original is because this is more “raw.” It doesn’t have studio polishing. It has mess ups, original lyrics and instrumentation, and a more personal feel. It’s why songs concerts can slap much more than the ones you can hear on an album. But that’s my two cents
For me it's literally just bc of the line "I wish I could be a girl and that way you'd wish you could kick my fucking teeth in". Idk there's just smth about that line as it relates to the glorification of violence against women that scratches my brain just right.
I really enjoy how he slowly gets into it! Like, idk, I notice how he does a lot better during the chorus as he gets more into the song. I absolutely adore it.
Live/concert recordings slap so hard and I feel like they've got SO MUCH MORE passion, it's understandable since in the studio version they record it a thousand times until it's "perfect", but by then the artist is already tired
Honestly I think it should have been a mix of both versions like keep the majority of the final but add the "lately I've been wishing I where 5 foot 5" and "viagra is my witness when I'm caught braking the laws of physics" part
