Is that the same instrument they use in lo-fi music? I wish I could like the genre, but whatever that instrument they use in most songs to make the beat is, it hurts my ears. The only thing worse is when they make the beat by the audio fading out in pulses. It sucks because so much if that genre is amazing, but it's just literally painful for me go listen to it.

I wouldn’t equate whatever this modern genre of music is to hip hop. Old school hip hop had merit. This new stuff has been cointelpro’d.
