Way to go Jo. That was an excellent interview. You allowed the focus to remain entirely on Kimberly. You were patient, quiet and so respectful of her story. Kudos to you. 💚
What a lovely lady Kimberly is. I felt an instant connection as I lost my youngest daughter 18 months ago a week after her 20th birthday and I have been hiding away from the world not socialising or going out, spending my days in bed or in my PJ's as I am still grieving over losing her. I must go to her channel and learn from her how to live again.
I’m so sorry for your heart break. I hope you have people who can help cradle you through it. Kimberly is amazing isn’t she. She’s made a conscious decision to choose really living life which I do admire. Big hugs to you and thank you for sharing your story. I’m sure your baby girl was beautiful and is now at rest 😘
As a Mother, it is the most unbearable tragedy. In time as you grow to live with your loss, I pray that you will once again live the life your daughter knew and live your life for the both of you. I'm so very sorry 💕💙💚💜🙏
So sorry for your loss I know you’re pain I lost my son August 2019 drugs overdose can’t cry because I can’t forgive him for wasting his life just feel angry.
What an amazing interview Jo and Kimberly! I truly admire you both. Kimberly when you interviewed Jo, you sat and listened and here today, Jo your listening to Kimberly and allowing her to talk; it’s just so loving and respectful that in todays society we don’t get to see very often. Thank you, you wonderful women! Thank you for starting your RU-vid channels and for sharing your lives with us. 🥰👏🏻💐🌷
THIS. As was implied - this episode epitomizes what is truly good about social media and what makes living in our modern world wonderful- the ability of two fabulous and authentic women from across an ocean sharing their stories - so that women all around the world can say- “Yes- that’s me too- I am not alone, or I’m inspired or if she can do it so can I !” Brilliant job ladies- thank you😊
This is such a great collaboration… I am grateful to each of you for giving a RU-vid voice to us “over 50’s”! And the testimony of resilience and fortitude from Kimberly… I hope many see this and are inspired.
Jo - as a long time follower of your channel I have to thank you this episode with Kimberly. My jaw literally dropped as Kimberly shared about this lesser known part of her life. I am walking that journey right now so this was helpful for me.
I have been following Kimberly for years and never knew her story. I was in tears listening. I so appreciate her bravery and vulnerability. Love you both and look forward to your videos each week. ❤
Kimberly mentioned it once, in one sentence. In a q & a. I gasped. I knew this what Jo was alluding to the other day when she announced this video. But this was so honest and raw that I had to pause the screen to get a tissue. The highest form of shining a light on others in pain. Wow! My heart is full with her reaching out and someone lost in grief will hear ❤……. We are all in this life together.
I just love Kimberley! In a 2 year period I had lost 7 family members including my parents who were in their late 60’s. I struggled so much that I ended up quitting my job with no other prospect of employment. Almost 5 years later I’m still unemployed. Kimberley is very inspiring and I’m hoping I can get it together again soon!
Please don't waste your life your loved ones would not want thatxx life goes by so quickly and you have a different path now than you expected so dare to experience something new, what have you to loose xx lots of luck and love xx
@@davisholman8149 I’m so sorry, I know the feeling completely. I’ve tried for so many years to make sense of it all. Grief obviously doesn’t have a time frame and it has profoundly changed me. Sending you love from California 💜☀️🌙⭐️
I'm sorry for all of your loss. Life is so unpredictable. Your family members would want you to live your life to its fullest. Give yourself permission to be happy again.

God you're good. Such a good interviewer, you are so genuinely interested in your interviewee. I think you two will become such great friends! RU-vidrs are the new Pen Pal! I love how women support one another - feeling the love!
My two favorite ladies together..such a treat!!! an amazing, respectful and heart tugging interview I’ve seen in a long time. Yes, I cried.. Thank you Jo! Love you lovely ladies! 💕💕
Oh, Jo, this vlog was so masterful on so many levels! Your comments are absolutely educational as to the dynamics of social media. You are an unparalleled interviewer, which would not be possible by a younger, inexperienced person. Your cheeriness & wit are icing on the cake! You never disappoint, Jo!
Gosh that made me cry, losing a mother, father is bad enough but to lose a child must be the worst bless her 🙏 ❤️ Thank you for sharing & thank you Jo for the interview......loved it! xx
I was waiting for this. I’m sitting on my porch as the beginnings of our hurricane rain in. I lost my oldest daughter (44) 11/2/2015. Just nothing compares. 😢
Beautiful job Jo and Kimberly. This chat was gently done even though it was very emotional. I’m sure it has had a positive impact on so many women (me included)and thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Tears and laughter, many thanks Jo and Kimberly, as a mum of 2 girls I think you were so brave to even get out of bed after what happened to you and your family. Sending lots of love x
It just goes to show you that you really don't know what people are going through behind closed doors. Kimberly, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Thank you for sharing. I know it will help someone out there who is going through exactly what you have.
Hello Jo...I am one of your long loyal sunday morning addicted subcribers...oh what a wonderful video you have given us with Kimberely...how brave of her to tell us all her story which I cried at...I do hope she comes to London...lets all have a meet and greet...wouldnt that be fabulous...I will subscribe to her channel also...well thank you so much Jo...Lots of Love to you, Mutti, Myrtle and Kimberely. X
Jo and Kimberly it is a privilege that you gift us all a peek into your lives. And what a great example of women supporting women! As Kimberly stated I look forward to watching your RU-vid on Sundays Jo. Best to you both.
Such a great interview Jo! I love your work and how you sound as though you’re having a great chat with a friend. So natural. Such a tragedy for Kimberly to go through but to see her strength is inspiring.
Wow! I've been following Kimberly for maybe 2 years now and never knew her heartache. I know the love she has for her daughter, Heather and I never knew she had another child. She is a blessing and so are you, Jo. Thank you for having her and extending your lives into ours.
I loved watching this chat, Jo. Wouldn't it be great if you had a bunch of like-minded youtubers to chat to like this? And it would give Filipe a massive challenge too - keeping up with you! x
Well Done...LOVE watching you both. Watching you two women support each other ...brought tears to my eyes! LOVE LOVE LOVE! P.S. If Jo doesn't want the gift of the Nebulyft...I'll take it!! 🙋♀️ 😁 🤣
Hello from Ohio, I get it Kimberly after experiencing such great loss of a loved one, you have to make a choice to either sink or swim. When you began your RU-vid channel you felt you had nothing to lose because you had already experienced great loss. I lost my sweet husband, suddenly and I too watched RU-vid and knitted for about a year, I watch your channel now because at 66 yo myself I can relate so much to you and you too Jo, loss comes in many ways but I believe it teaches us how strong and resilient we are and that’s a great realization to living a full life alone in this world. Keep on filming ladies❤️❤️!!
Great interview! So moved by Kimberly’s story of tremendous sadness and her healing journey. Life eventually beats up all of us in one way or another; it’s how we chose to respond that is the difference between despair and resignation and resilience and joy. I strive for the latter, but find it increasingly difficult in today’s world. But, I won’t give in to the negativity all around. Thank you, both, for being such delightful, strong, vulnerable, smart, engaging, loving and generous women 💚
I can not even begin to express how much I appreciateyour interview of Kimberly @ Pretty Over 50. You are doing an amazing job of interviewing her and I adore both of you.
Great interview! I am a NYer who follows Kimberly and because of her came over a few months ago and started following you! Like Kimberly, I look forward to watching you on Sunday too. You are such a delightful burst of life! ❤
Hey Jo, here from Kimberly’s channel. I loved the interview she did with you and appreciate you having her on your channel. I only found Kimberly’s channel just before she moved and now I’ve discovered you! Yay for me. I feel very blessed. I loved this interview even though it was emotional. I didn’t know about Kimberly’s daughter. Thank you so, so much Jo! ❤
Jo that was a fantastic interview, just listening to a chat between friends. You are so different but so fabulous, Jo you are so giddy and lively and Kimberly is calm and sensible but so quietly brave; you are both completely true to yourselves. Kimberly’s story is so heartbreakingly sad and what a privilege that she shared it during your interview. It is incredible what she has done! You are two amazing women. X❤
Wow. It really does not get any better than this interview. I have followed both you and Kimberly separately over the years, and it's absolute kismet that you eventually connected. I followed you, Jo, initially because I'm a London gal that still misses her hometown desperately since I moved to America 25 years ago and look forward to that Sunday morning, date. I followed Kimberly because she remains one of the most real and authentic RU-vid bloggers out there, and her skincare tips are some of the best around and have helped me enormously. However, this was one of the most profoundly moving and brilliant interviews ever. From Kimberly's searing honesty and sharing the loss of her beautiful daughter, Grace with us all, and why she started her channel to help her navigate such unspeakable grief; to you as such a kind and thoughtful interviewer. Such a respectful listener. I hope Kimberly comes to London to visit you. Let's hope you can 'put the kettle on'' for her soon. What a riot that would be! 😍xoxo
I'm so thrilled that Kimberly told us about you. I loved all the questions you asked. Everything I've been wondering about. Thus interview was one of the best .It kept me enthraled from beginning to end.
Jo you are at your very best when you interview people - Kimberley you’re so serene we would never have guessed your personal tragedy. Sending love to you both 💕
I'm in tears. It's a beautiful interview Jo, well done. I've followed Kimberly for some time, I'm a fan as she's so authentic and kind hearted. And I actually discovered you completely independently. I love seeing around London as I've never been there. Go you girls, you're really important for women over 50. ❤️❤️
Jo you are a tornado most of the time and i sometimes get exhausted just looking at your channel but your professionalism shines through here where you ask Kimberly great questions and then allow her to respond without interrupting. Thank you for a wonderful video of just two humans being respectful of each other and showing the rest of us how we can age gracefully/disgracefully sometimes, maybe lol! love and light to you both
Love this interview…you two together are amazing. I think if you lived closer together you’d be fast friends. It’s interesting that you’re so different but so much the same. Love you two ❣️
I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard you so emotional Jo. It’s clear that you and Kimberley have developed a very special friendship. Thank you for allowing us to be a witness to that ❤
I lost my oldest son when he was 20 and my heart just opened up to you when you shared this loss with us. You put everything I felt in words that are hard to find. God bless you and take care 💖
Oh Kimberly....I'm so sorry about the loss of your dear daughter.... how heartbreaking. I found you and Jo during Covid...while living and working in Uzbekistan....on constant lockdown...missing my family and worrying about them....and the world. You and Jo....are incredible women. I am in my mid 50s (now living in Switzerland) and still follow you both and enjoy you sharing your lives. Prost! (I'm learning German! at 55! That means Cheers!) xoxo
Jo I absolutely loved this video. I joined your channel back when Kimberly suggested you to us, and I've enjoyed every minute of your fast paced life. I don't know how you do it all. I am 67 and love you and Kimberly. I totally feel as if I have two new girlfriends. So glad I was introduced to you and enjoy your knowledge and amazing gift of freedom to put yourself out there without a care in the world. You put one foot forward and never stop moving. Thank-you so much. I'll be watching. 🇨🇦💐🌅
I LOVE this interview Jo with Kimberly. I follow you both, I am a transplanted (in Florida) Londoner, so you bring home to me..and Kimberly has taught me all about microcurrents ;) and lots of other really useful info. I love you both, but Jo your sincerity opened up Kimberly, and it was so brave of her to tell us all her story, and you both handled it all with such grace and sincerity... Bravissimi! 💓
I'm a subscriber from Northern California who found you through Kimberly. I'm so glad I did. You did an amazing job with this interview! Thank you. I adore both of you ladies. ❤️
Jo, this was a fantastic video! You are such a great interviewer and I learned more about, Kimberly, today than in the two years I have been watching her videos. I knew about Kimberly’s daughter but the way she spoke about the pain she endured over her passing made me cry. Losing a child is every mother’s nightmare….. it’s incomprehensible. I truly hope, Kimberly, does visit you in London…. what a great video that would be. Love to you and Myrtle and looking forward to Sunday’s video. ❤
Shelley, from Texas here. I love both of you gals. You are both lifelines for me as I go through a tough time. Just want to thank you for brightening my day and giving me strength. 😘
Aiken, SC is the best kept secret. Isolated small town but close enough to the mountains & the coast & historic Charleston that you can do day trips when you need a change of scenery. I'm glad Kimberly found Aiken, SC & her RU-vid community.
I've watched many, many hours of Kimberly and Pretty over Fifty since 2020 and had no idea whatsoever. Kimberly has always been a kind, lovely lady and now I know how strong she is, too. I found you, Jo, from Kimberly this summer. I feel like y'all are kindred and I love both of you 💗💓💗💓💗
Wow! I was blown away by this interview! You are both such amazing and brave women! What an example Kimberly is giving us by letting us know of the worst possible grief one can endure, and how she found the courage to stand up again! How inspiring for all of us! Tons of love to both of you ❤️❤️❤️
I was also one of those new subscribers that joined your channel after watching Kimberly’s You Tube channel. I’m from Montreal Canada. Love both your channels and watch you both regularly 💖💖
Thank you both! 🙂Despite living in the UK, I only found Jo's (hilarious!) channel through Kimberley's channel for which I'm very grateful as I look forward to watching you both on a Sunday! x
Thought I would go to bed and watch a little of this interview but nope ended up watching it all as it was like having a cuppa tea with some friends and having a chat. Loved it. Awesome interview from the sublime Jo and Kimberley. From Australia goodnight ladies.
Thank-you so much for this interview, truly inspiring. I lost my little girl Olivia Grace 3 years ago and know how devastating it is to lose your child. It is heartbreaking. Kimberly and Jo, you are both incredibly inspiring to me to keep pushing forward. ❤
I’m almost 58 years old, I live in the United States and found Jo through Kimberly. I love you two! I want to come over and play with Jo and Kimberly in London! Such beautiful and real women please don’t stop you’re a joy to watch… Both of you!
I came to your channel from Kimberly! You are both inspiring women! So fun to watch you both. Thank you for this wonderful interview.❤ Love and kindness to both of you!
You both are such a gift to enforce the powerful connections as an older woman to myself struggling to find who I am and dealing with the most grief I’ve gone through yet this last year. Thank you to Kimberly for her amazing sharing and vulnerability. I’m so sorry for your loss. I to have two beautiful daughters and can’t imagine the grief you must be carrying and yet finding a way to still shine your light on the world is such a gift! I’m separated from my beautiful girls for different reasons and dealing with immense grief over it and struggling daily to search for purpose, meaning and where I’m valuable besides being a mom. And, Jo you are no less inspiring! I love your zest and energy and contagious personality that makes one know how authentic you are even across the youtube waves. I’ve been following you for a while now and so glad I found you and want you to hit your 100k so much to! You will do it! Thanks for suggesting Pretty Over 50 you both are my role models as I am 58 and relate so much to you both for different reasons! 💖💖
Thanks for a terrific interview Jo-have followed you for years. I have also followed Kimberly -almost from her start and so appreciate her sharing her story with you. Had no idea she had such sorrow and sadness in her life as she has always radiated peace and joy on her channel. It is wonderful this platform has given her healing and hope. Your conversation was like being in a conversation with dear friends. Thank you both🥰🥰🥰
Now that is the kind of women support I need to see more often in social media and in real life. I'm close to 49 this year and I'm learning so much from you two already; about fun, about life and about not giving up. It's a privilege to be a follower. Love from Mexico City.
I absolutely adore both of you individually but such magic together!! I am going on 58 and just admire and love the power and wisdom of us older women. I lived in England for several years and miss it terribly. Wishing you both happiness, fun and success ❤️
