This might be one of the most vulnerable RU-vid videos I have ever made, but praise God for the freedom that lies within accepting his forgiveness.
Most people typically would not publicly share how they sin, but this particular circumstance carries some heavyweight messages that somebody needs to hear, and that I need to regularly be reminded of!
I cancel shame and guilt in JESUS’ NAME. What the enemy used to try to destroy me and take me down, I’m using to glorify God. 🙌
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us! There is nothing more that we need to do after that!
To be blunt, it is a slap in the face to His precious sacrifice of Jesus that purchased our freedom and forgiveness to continue wallowing in guilt over a sin that we have been forgiven for or even worse go back to a sin that he has delivered us from. Come on now, CLAIM THAT VICTORY!
ALSO I meant to say like a “dog returns to its vomit”, I said pig but you get the point. 😄
So listen, drugs and alcohol are a counterfeit peace that only leave you disappointed.
Praise the Lord for reaching down from heaven and pulling me out of deep waters. Psalm 18:16
Psalm 119:2
Joyful are those who obey His laws and search for Him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in His paths.
The second you step outside of the path that the Lord has cleared for you, you invite trouble even though you don’t see it at first.
A big lesson you can learn from my folly is not to compromise with what is seemingly innocent. We must seek the Lord on our choices and WAIT on Him to guide us. I was very impulsive in my decision to drink again.

Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.
We are all very capable of lying to ourselves. “The flesh is strong, The spirit is willing”. We need to renew our minds daily with God‘s word and spend time with him in prayer. That is like putting on your armor before you start your day. CONSISTENCY is the other huge take away from this. I wasn’t being consistent for only a few weeks and look how weak and susceptible I am in my own strength. 😳
Lord may we always be desperate for you just like David wrote…
