As an owner of a Fusion CV8Z Monaro I very much like this clean white VY HSV Clubsport and appreciate the passion of the owner for this nice ride. It has good choice in rims, sounds nice with the right amount of burble when backing off, looks sharp, the black and white contrast each other perfectly and the excellent stance so it would be something I would like in my shed but never sell it, you suit each other. With the 6spd manual that is a fairly rare combination and it looks classy. It would make an excellent wedding car being a four door in White. Keep the original rims if you still have them.

Enjoyed the review of the Clubsport, Ross. Looks really good. I like the sound of the exhaust too. It has low kilometres for the age of the car and looks well looked after. Good to see girls enjoying these cars too. I’d like to see more enjoying them as well. Great review from Queensland.

Both of those cars are awesome! Can I ask what mods were done to inner wheel arches to fit the staggered walky rims? Just asking because I have a VY SS and not even as low as those cars, the tyres scrub. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Cool car! As an American I'm fascinated with Aussie cars. I know most of them have counter parts in the states but you guys seem to get the better options. Manual transmissions are almost unheard of in a car like that here. I'd love one in my Lacrosse which I'm pretty sure is a Commadore over there. If it had a stick it would be epic! Great video! Looks like a lot of fun!

I know where there’s one exactly like that , pretty immaculate condition , was seating on the weather I said to the owner that’s a sacrilege, he put it inside , has been in a Adelaide local trucking company shed for a while now with big 20 inches BBS on it , white HSV VZ exactly the same !

They were badged in the Uk as a Vauxhall vxr and Tom walkingshaw added a supercharger to them well underrated

I love Holden's, they are the perfect all round package, race heritage with GM and Vauxhall DNA, great sound and a road car with some attitude.

Sounds awesome, buts it's not the Ls1 that makes it sound like that its the exhaust, plenty LS2s and other Ls motors that sound the same it's all in the components like mufflers and cats and the exhaust lines/which way the exhaust is designed, for example the corvette that has the same LS2 the Vz clubby has sounds completely different to the Corvette.

We have a 6 speed manual LS1 vy Commodore wagon with fresh red paint job. We have a cam for it but don't have the money to install it.

Nice clubby love the colour👍white,black & red VY HSV'S lowered gets that "widebody" look, almost every VY HSV in QLD are in the same condition or better with over 300kw at the wheel & in garages/sheds- it's why you don't see many- I know there's heaps still driving the streets of Toowoomba goldy & sunny coast daily
