When I decided to bring her over, many people advised me not to bring her. I said no, because she has not done any wrong but if she comes over and change, so be it. We have been married for 25 years with children doing very well. Yes, we have been through challenges but endured.

@@Princess-Patty It's not been easy because the breakdown of marriages in the Western world and England which I know very well is at the Macro and Micro levels. At the Macro level is the government. For example anytime my wife attended antenatal services was a potential for my marriage breaking down. There are people all of them women called Family liaison officers. The moment they see "married" on her forms, they ussher her into a side room and advise her that she is in servitude. I remember a time that I was not able to attend antenatal services with her because I was preparing for a Law School exam, wifie came home angry. Why? What happened? She said a small girl who she believed has not washed her underwear for a week asked her to consider being in a marriage with that time, a child and another one on the way. If she leaves the marriage, she will be provided with ABCD to Z. She said the list was very long. It made her angry and she walked out of that office. This is ideologically driven. These young girls go to a 3rd class university to study Psychology Sociology or Social Work and used as a front for the State to destroy marriages. Just imagine if wifie was greedy? At the Micro level are friends, the perinatal single ones of course with a long list of boy friends who cone and go. Those who claim to be independent and not subservient to a man and can go out and cone back home at any time they like. Church members who are divorced and all of a sudden want to be friends with newly married women and work colleagues. If a female is not careful, they break their marriage just for fun so that you'll become like them. I remember when I brought my wife over, there was this elderly woman at church who took a special liking for her. She introduced this woman to me. This is someone I have never spoken to in the church and she has never tried to speak to me before my wife came over but all of a sudden wanted to be nice with me. I advised wifie against that liking and she thought I was taking things too far. It was until she started advising my wife that in aburokyire, a woman doesn't have to marry and that the government can look after you better blah blah blah blah. Wifie told me and I only said, I told you. Now, we have boys, the first one has completed Law School and started practicing and my wife is scared for them relationship wise . I'm laid back on that but she is really scared because of the work we have put and continue to put into them. The payments I have to make for these boys to continue their university education. My solution for her is that I build another house in Ghana so that after the first one qualify, he qualify in Ghana too and find a wife there. This is because of the influences she was under during her early days in marriage. She laments on how many women in these places can resist the temptations she resisted. Sorry to bore you with this long writeup. It's only because I've gone through a bank of experience.
