Honestly I'm happy that he's happy. So many people are mad that he merged with CNN, yet if that was you I'm pretty sure you'd do the same thing.

I don't understand why people are mad, it makes sense, it's the next step. Casey has never been a guy who finds a niche that works and just stays with it until it doesn't. From day one he has always done what stimulates his creative side regardless of the money. He is completely clear in that he reached a point that the things he wanted to do next, the next "ante up" to his creative ladder, required funding he couldn't do on his own. And CNN offered him complete creative freedom by providing that funding. I think people are just pissy because he ended his daily vlog around the same time, but truthfully I think he would've ended the vlog regardless. He's not someone who would continue doing something if it made him unhappy, money or not.
