I have a few rewards in mind, maybe you might like them. 1. I think that it needs to drop it's head as a mounting reward. 2. Another cool idea is having it be similar to the King Dragon from Orespawn to where it drops a prince, where it can just stay as a mini cute pet. 3. The only reason I put armor so low, is because I don't think end-game armors are necessary, but it could be a cool armor where you can attach wings. 4. Maybe it can drop it's wings and allow forth magic to be shot out of them like King Ghidorah from Godzilla King Of The Monsters 5. Could drop an enchantment that could be applied to any of the weapons in Dawncraft that allows lightning to be shot out of the sky. 6. Maybe the boss could drop it's blood which can give cool weapons or even be able to drink for a permanent effect of strength or regeneration 7. Maybe you can allow the player to harvest it's soul so they can unlock a shout - oh wait... that's been done? Nvm These are just some ideas I came up with, but didn't want to ramble on; lol

Now we just need Greyoll and Midiir. . . It looks amazing btw, looks like it'd be a fun yet challenging fight. Would definitely need a large arena for it tho due to how much it moves and how troublesome the terrain could get when trying to see where they are teleporting in from.

Holy crap the dragon lord is so detailed

Elden Ring really gave you a ton of motivation to make bosses in minecraft, like when I look at this I think of Lichdragon Fortissax And then "Dragonlord" (Placidusax)

You should definitely pump up the Ender Dragon bossfight by giving it some wide range of attacks that makes it difficult and give it some terrifying makeover so that you have be endgame to defeat the boss, also not to mention give it with a worth reward once it's defeated

I love the spin attack it does at 5:47! Maybe the drop could be a ‘shard’ of the dragons weapon, acting similarly to a trident that shoots the player in a direction and deals damage to surrounding mobs? or, the shard can be forged onto a chest piece. It gives a special effect similar to thorns, but theres a chance of stunning the enemy

I love that White Fatalis like lighting attack.

You know what this makes me think of that would be amazing? A dragon which requires you to battle in the sky, like in the clouds to make sure you can't just bow it from the ground, giving an actual combat use for elytra, and making an opportunity for some new weapons to use while flying. It reminds me of How to train your dragon, when toothless and hiccup have to fight the dragon queen in the sky.

While the look and feel of the boss is incredible, I feel like there should be more targeted attacks that force the player into close range, besides the teleporting swipes and the spear launch into the sky. Maybe a large windup roar that sends spears down in a circle far around it, but doesnt hit you if you're within melee range. I just think that it'd still be possible to bow spam the boss while running

Absolutely breath taking! I hope you add more things in the modpack and please fix some of the bugs

Cool, really hope you keep adding more to Dawncraft. Dragons, giants, golems, whater comes next I’m looking forward to.

The dragon lord drops the chromatic scales which when combined with the 3 other dragon heart and 1 piece of netherite creates the dragon king flail. When used with epic combat mod the weapon has 3 flail heads as the attack cause the chain to extend froward. Any enemy caught in the line of a flail takes damage and is affected by the debuff of that particular flail.

Effect at 1:55? I had an idea for that. Vampire Boss Battle where he can control the weather, just like in 2014's Dracula Untold. Or you could make a zeus boss battle with those thunder spears along with an Olympus boss arena. Also for the dragon I think you may need to extend it's snout. Seems a little...short

First of all: this is amazingly made again And about the drop: actually i think the thunder spear is a good idea already (well a custom lightning spear, not the one shown at the ending). It could work like spear weapon that causes the paralyse effect (with a small cooldown so that you cant just stunlock enemies) and with right click you can use an ability that launches/throws the lightning spear, piercing through enemies and calling a lightning strike when it hits the ground or a wall and paralysing all hit enemies for a longer time

1:58 I'm not too sure if this is already in a game but a parry system might work. Parrying something at the right time will get stunned and the time frame is almost instant. So those "Parry gods" that has never seen the light of day shall be smiling out of excitement. And for bosses parrying can be apart of the boss fight, Like you have to parry them 6 times then they'd get stunned and that's when your able to do damage. Or one shot lasers that you can't dodge nor escape from and the only way to survive is to parry them. I feel like it'll adds more "skill" in the game.

You can make it drop shards or fragments to craft a sort of wand or artifact, that when used stuns enemies in a few block range. (obviously with a cooldown or it will be too op)

This right here is why i love the souls like and monster hunter combat, sure i might get beat up, die constantly, ragequit à couple times but the bosses really feel alive

I think it would be awesome if there was like a lightning whip or something that applies that shock effect, similar to whiplash from Iron Man!

Add A water dragon and its shields give you the ability to breathe and strike stronger underwater, and if you add some small dragons that you can tame to help you in your adventure

you can use the elctric shock to activate some mechanisms, like: gates to dungeons, robots/mechs etc.

People need to learn that yes, a dragon with two legs and 2 wings is a wyvern. But a wyvern is still a dragon

Make a massive dragon tooth hammer that can be crafted with what you get from the boss similar to what havel uses in dark souls. In fact make the entire havel armor set just for good measure.

This mod is epic cant wait to try it with friends

I think a cool drop it could have is something like a horn, that allows you to do it's roar sound. Not as like an attack, but like similar to the vanilla goat horn.

You should add a dragon lord armor set that has a built in elytra and grants immunity to electric attacks

i have an idea as to how to utilize the stun mechanic, where before a boss uses their strongest attack they first will do a stunning attack that well stuns the players, but they can dodge this attack. now as to why they need to dodge this effect, its not because so they can dodge the bosses strongest attack that comes afterwards, its to deal with the boss whos still charging said strongest attack and if the damage threshold is met the boss is stunned themselves giving a few seconds of free damage to the players

To the people saying these aren't dragons, wyvern comes from Latin vīpera, viper. Dragon comes from Greek δράκων (drákōn), which meant a large serpent and was depicted in art as such. The distinction between dragons, wyverns, wyrms, drakes, et cetera, is a modern distinction made up by modern authors and games.

If dragons really have 4 paws, they couldn't fly

Maybe you can add a underground biome made up of lots of dragon corpses to serve as an arena for that lich dragon from elden ring

Maybe the shock effect can chain to any other mobs whos hitbox overlap with the shock effect.

A water dragon and its armor give you the ability to breathe and strike stronger underwater

He should drop his lighting sword, wich electrifies enemies, or his head that shoots rays of light. Btw that's sick!

The Dragon Lord skill look badass.

I think a cool drop for the Dragon Lord could be like a spell or weapon similar to the Ancient Dragon’s Lightning Spear from Elden Ring, where you get lifted in the air and stab the spear into the ground, creating electric shockwaves that can do the shock effect and massive damage on impact. Or it could drop an item you could trade to an NPC to get either the spear i mentioned or a Magma Fireball based claw that could shoot a shotgun spread of fire balls and maybe even a meteor

You should use the lightning effect to create botw esc elemental weapons. Possibly dropped by the boss.

new boss idea could be using a boss's own features against them, like the ancients in god of war, where you have to throw a piece of themselves to break their invulnerability, then you'll be able to do damage

you should make/add a mod that improve all non-animated entities (like the sheep or the pig) it could add some immersion into the modpack

The lightning dragon's paralysis effect seems like something out of monster hunter. It should follow up with some big hit that can only narrowly be avoided, like rajang's pin in mhw:ib. I'm not sure how that would work, like if the dragon's ai can detect if a player is paralyzed, but it's the idea that makes the most sense to me.

I have a lot of ideas for dragons if ya need any, ever tried fighting a quake dragon? it's a earth dragon that can shoot rocks at ya as a breath attack and sometimes uses a attack called quake; which causes the ground around it to open; causing it's victims to fall in(idea was inspired by Final Fantasy 6 and Skyrim modded earth dragon). Then there is the Holy dragon; which uses a breath of holy light energy and sometimes uses a stormcall attack that causes projectiles of light fall from the sky (I made a dragon like that for modded skyrim), there is also the storm dragon (something like a lightning dragon but more dangerous), it uses a breath that fires a beam of lightning at it's pray and sometimes uses a stormcall attack that causes deadly thunderstorms; causing lightning to strike the player and everything around them (modded skyrim style storm dragon btw). There are other dragons I could suggest like King Ghidorah, Tiamat, there is 2 versions of it, D&D version and Final Fantasy 1 version, I recommend combing both versions if you are interested in adding it, there is also a very powerful dragon called ShinRyu from final fantasy, there is also a dragon from wild hearts called Celestial dragon (reminds me of Shinryu, heck it's ultimate attack reminds me of atomic ray + Ultima). :P There is the tempest dragon, a dragon that uses air attacks and fires tornadoes, luckly dawncraft has a tornado mod, imagine it having one of those tornadoes as it's attack. There is the Poison dragon; which uses poison for a breath attack. There is the Forest Dragon, a Dragon that can summon hostile wild life, can also use poison attacks and some other nature related attacks (it's appearance looks kinda tree like). There is also the Forest fire dragon which uses fire attacks + can summon fire elementals to spread the flames (I created a dragon like that in my dragon mod, it looks kinda like a burnt tree dragon). There is the Frozen Frorest dragon, it can summon wild life from the frost biome and can use frost attacks (it kinda looks like a frozen tree looking dragon). There is also the Mist dragon, it is kinda like a frost dragon but it can use mist breath and it can turn the weather in the area into mist; kinda like fog, also the dragon will turn invisible when it uses that attack. There is also the Tri Elemental dragon (I made that one myself for skyrim) which uses Ice, fire and lightning breath attacks, it can also combine them as well which I did with it's storm call ability thus causing lightning storms, fire balls and ice balls descending from the sky. There is the Blizzard dragon; which like the frost dragon it can use ice attack, however... it can cause blizzards and summon ice monsters. There is also the Draco Lich, just like how there is the Lich (aka the skeletal overlord boss you already have in the game), there is a dragon variation of it, they can use dragon abilities and Lich abilities; which can make it very dangerous... If you need more ideas; look up the dragons from Final Fantasy and the dragon mods from modded skyrim, they are FULL of ideas.

hey do you think you can add the "Nomadic Tents" to dawn craft? it allows you to make portable tents that act as mini bases that can be upgradable that can be picked up once put down, so its fantastic for exploration. there is a problem with it that once you enter one it sets you to expert mode because the tents works as little pocket dimensions and thinks that you went to the nether

i think once you get it to half health it should enter rage mode where it does more damage and has different abilities

Would be cool if you made that one gigantic dragon (the one stuck in rot) from Elden Ring but healthy and not dying in rot lol

Loved the dragon and the modpack, hope we can get a little bit more content to this. Can't wait to get a good PC to play this to the fullest
