A home air conditioner does not blow the hot air from inside your house to the outside. Hot/warm air is recirculated through a heat exchanger and then the same air is blown back into your house in the form of dry cold/cool air.
@E85_STI
@E85_STI 17 дней назад
@@cleophusfowler I know what you mean by heat exchanger which is the evaporator coil but the evaporator provides the cold air simultaneously the warmer return air from the house is absorbed into the refrigerant which actually carries the heat from the house to the condenser where it’s expelled with the use of the OFM and that vapor condenses back and and the process starts over. Of course there’s the TXV and compressor. This little water heat exchanger couldn’t cool a room but can help in a small space.

@@E85_STI Yes that's correct. I would like to know your thoughts on powering an icybreeze using a 12v lawn mower battery. I attend a lot of car shows and would like to extend my run time significantly over the 10ah, 12v battery supplied. I saw a 35ah 12v battery for a lawn tractor for 69 bucks on line. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you for your time.
@SethsPhone
@SethsPhone 9 месяцев назад
Air conditioners cobdition air, the exhange is done via refrigerant. Cars can take air from outside but homes usually recirculate.

Nice upgrades. I'm thinking about buying one for my car because it does not have ac. The heat has to go somewhere. Does it go back inside the cooler and wouldn't that melt the ice quicker? I'm not sure if I should buy this for my car and tent while camping or save money and make my own.

Need to be this guy, but you can put a 20 V Dewalt in it if you pull the motor out it’s rated from 12 to 24 V and I’ve tried it. It works just fine for been using it for a long time like that it’s not gonna break it.

Did adding the bigger water pump help it blow colder?
@E85_STI
@E85_STI Год назад
Yes much colder than the original pump. It moves water so fast that it doesn’t allow the radiator to heat up so when ever I open it the radiator is ice cold. Here’s an update after owning it for about a year. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nbGvM9-ivGM.html

Can you put a link I. Where you bought the upgraded water pump?
@E85_STI
@E85_STI 2 года назад
I can and please do so at your own risk because this pump is not plug and play so you will have to cut the original connector off then solder it onto the new pump. This is the one I used but it will void your warranty I am sure of it but the system isn’t a super hard unit to fix on your own. www.amazon.com/YEHAM-Micro-Submersible-Water-Pumps/dp/B06Y2T63PX/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?keywords=12v+water+pump&pscroll=1&qid=1659384991&refinements=p_n_condition-type%3A6461716011&sr=8-16&wIndexMainSlot=20

Since you open it already, Can you pls put a link to a fan similar to the one use in the icy breeze.
@E85_STI
@E85_STI Год назад
Sorry I didn’t see this so I can’t remember what the brand of fan is but it’s not a common one you see off Amazon. This one is a 12v 3amp fan so that’s how it’s much more powerful than a standard cpu fan that’s rated for only 5V

Would you make a video on how to upgrade to the better pump you have?
@E85_STI
@E85_STI 9 месяцев назад
I can but pretty much if you loosen the panel you can get to the connector but if you message me on Ig I can show you. I didn’t post the video because I don’t want anyone to mess theirs up or something but it’s pretty straight forward. I can send you a personal video and show you how I did it and exactly which pump I used. I did do an update video as well. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nbGvM9-ivGM.htmlsi=T6uXhQPAu-Tvf-se

Do you know what fan it runs ?
@E85_STI
@E85_STI Год назад
I do and I opened the lid to see what fan it is and it’s a 12 volt 5 amp and I googled the brand and it’s a good brand of fan but I forgot the name. This fan is not your average computer fan though it puts out a lot more air than a computer fan and I’ve already bought some of the faster computer fans and they don’t compare to this one.
@sagehui9229
@sagehui9229 Год назад
So the bluetti will run it for 7 hrs at 42 watts ?
@E85_STI
@E85_STI Год назад
It’s been a while since I tested it but this bluetti is a 268Wh battery pack so I’ve used my icy breeze with this on the 12v side and I only ran it for an hour and 15mins or so and my battery life went from 100% to 89%

@@E85_STI I'm a little confused. Would it use less energy with the plug connection or car outlet connection? I'm sorry I don't know proper terminology. I hope you understand my question.

Does absolutely no good to put a higher pressure pump on there if anything, it’s gonna deplete your eyes water faster
@gerardochavez1892
@gerardochavez1892 3 месяца назад
You can actually run it with dewalt batteries without any damage to the unit. Well at least mine anyway
@E85_STI
@E85_STI 3 месяца назад
So you can but the voltage increase does make the fan and pump run faster but over time it will damage the fan so that’s why I made a 12 volt pack exclusively for the icy breeze but I’ll be honest I haven’t used the icy breeze in over a year it just sits in my closet.

@E85_STI

No it’s pretty dry air unless it’s very hot outside like lately we’ve been having over 103 and the heat exchanger sweats but it’s still not blowing any water out the vent.

@E85_STI 2 года назад
@@3ccdmike yeah it’s not supposed to and I guess some could but my homemade one doesn’t at all Because it doesn’t have the fan directly on the radiator like this one does and that’s why it’s possible for some to throw water out

@larryfoster2628 19 дней назад
You seem to be pretty smart, but you’re incorrect on your water pump. You should not push that water through the radiator that fast all is gonna do is the bleacher ice quickly
@E85_STI
@E85_STI 19 дней назад
@@larryfoster2628 so I have two different 12 v pumps for it the faster one I have because at the time I had a beater car I was using before I fixed the ac so I had this one that I would only use for 30 mins or so daily but for the extended use like at the beach I could swap out the pumps. With the faster moving water it would remove more heat in the car especially on hot Texas summer days at 100+ degrees that’s the only reason I did it and got the icy breeze. Fast forward to now I haven’t used my icy breeze in over a year but it stays in my house well preserved. You are right though about the ice with the faster pump.
