I MOVED FROM NYC TO JERSEY CITY 🏠 realistic apartment tour, small space tips, before & after! 

Hi KC, OMG, your apartment is just magical. You and Ryan have really made it amazing. The decor is so cute and cozy. Love all the colors, and all the little things that show your personality. My mom saw your Zabar's coffee mug. Funny story, she was going to order one from their site until she saw that shipping for one mug was like 20.50......lol. You two have such an adorable home. Can we say a home is adorable? Cuz it is. Love how you used those hidden spaces for storage! You decorated it so well, it doesn't even seem small. Great job 🤗

I love how the two of you combined your possessions to create your new home. One of my favorite things is the Ikea cabinet with glass doors at the top and covered storage at the bottom that you use as a bar and shoe storage. Every inch counts in a small space. I have a bookcase in a closet that I use for shoe storage. I added risers that you can get in different lengths to keep shoes more organized. I think I ordered mine from Amazon and it doubled the storage, allowing me to have 2 rows of shoes on each shelf!

Our apartment in greenpoint is a similar layout and it always presents weird decorating challenges but like you, I’m working to be in the “now”. I’m obsessed with cobalt blue and red and need to incorporate that more!

Have you looked into covering the counter tops? I've seen people use contact paper. Think there's even some that are specifically for counter tops. 😊

Love your videos! Do you happen to know the official/general name of those little wall decor "fruteria" that you have? I grew up with those but haven't been able to find ones to decorate my own place with! It would be helpful to know the name so I can search for them. :)

When it comes to sticky drawers, rub the tracks with candle wax and it makes them moves smoother.

You can get a real lightbulb that is rechargeable with remote instead of the little puck light
