Your vocal and accent diversity between the characters is honestly impressive, legit thought they were voiced by separate people. You are probably my favorite creepypasta narrator, you deserve a lot more attention imo.
A veritable Lovecraftian horror. It's a sad ongoing truth though how the poor are so often the carriers of rude debts. Have to say I loved the story Steohen , anything that comes slurping out of dark waters is always going to grab my imagination and this was as well written as I could hope for. That your narration smacked it the hell out of the park made it even better. I would say this is one of your best. I lost my best friend last week , tge most awesome Malamute that ever did mute, the stories are helping me get through it still so thank you for your help and distraction. Cheers Stephen, Lee.
@@ElysetheEevee Thank you for taking the time to reach out and your kind words. Our host Stephen has an awesome community. Have a great day and thanks again. Cheers. Lee
@@LighthouseHorror Thank you for taking the time to post that Stephen, it means a lot that people here are kind enough to message words of support . It's great to be part of this community. He was with us for yen years and with him being so big the house seems so large without him, my family are sharing lots of great memories so there's been lots of laughter at his antics. Bittersweet. Cheers Stephen, Lee.
The characters are so well developed, I felt like I was right there with them. I love the old salt stories. Reminds me of my sea cook great grandfather
Excellent story again! And you did an amazing job making an another old man who is noticeably different from the hundred other old dudes you’ve voiced. This mindfulness in storytelling really puts you above the competition. Amazing! Also nice getting to see lighthouse imagery in the video pictures.
Thank you Stephen for making my night with yet another awesome pasta. Top notch work as always and as always I look forward to the next one. Thank you for everything you do.🖤🖤🖤🖤
Fantastic job! I am not the least bit surprised a narrarator as popular as Lighthouse would want to read your story. Hope we have many more from you in the years to come
Your acting really makes you stand out from everyone. Always a pleasure to listen to. Your Southern twang was so good! (Although, as a Brit, I can't tell if it was accurate XD)
Great story, well read. But I have to think less of the protagonist for considering sacrificing his family instead of: 1. Going on vacation with the whole family when the culling happens. 2. Setting up a bunker that makes 1944 Normandy beaches look like sand castles. 3. Setting up an organisation to track, study, and fight these culls. 4. Secretly mining the whole town to go out in a blaze of glory instead of being harvested.
I live on cape cod in Massachusetts, my back yard is the ocean and marsh land. We have our share of storms that can look like the end of the earth has come. I love those storms as long as trees don’t fall on my home, this story is one of my favorites and I have listened to it 8 times now and it just keeps getting better and better. You nailed this one and I appreciate it. Thanks again
Ya know, I listen to your channel almost daily & if I’m having a bad day, listening to one of your stories honestly just makes it better. You do great work!!
Man, you are one of my favorite CP readers, hands down. It's not just your character voices and the quality of the reading, but Itend to really enjoy the stories you choose to read... huge Lovecraft fan here, and this is right in the sweet spot of a modern version of Innsmouth.
I went to bed SUPER early last night so I missed this. But what a treat to wake up to this AM!! I wanna hang out with Mose. Sounds like a cool old dude. This is a fantastic story- I’m only half way, but yeah, very interesting and gripping with really likable characters.
Really redefines the term 'seadog.' I was trying to save this one in a stockpile to binge later, but I'm painting a chair tonight. I can't do crafty things without Lighthouse spooks. It simply wouldn't do.
@@LighthouseHorror Look, if you got money and no time, you buy the nice things you want. If you got no money and some spare time, you make them! ...And if you're me, you have no money and no time, but you scoff at sleep and get paint in your hair while listening to expertly narrated scary stories until three hours before you have to leave for work. :D P.S. Your old man character voice has gotten so good, it's uncanny. Nice work!
This is the story I have been searching for for 7 months now!! I love this story you really kicked ass with this one! I have made a playlist of Lighthouse favorites. Thanks for sharing this
You are the best narrator, love your voice to the point thst it us uncomfortable to listen to anyone else. I love all your characters, you completely brought Mose to life. Great story
I've watched a few videos and you narrate really well. Some can narrate a little too flatly, or have poor variety in different voices whereas you do both well. You have great variation in inflection to emphasis certain words and feelings, and also try to create a different enough voice that we can attach it to a distinct character if there's multiple in a story. I love it. ❤
If you stick around and go through the playlists , you will find even more ones that will somehow stick with you . I already made a playlists of my own, from 3 hour long forest/ S&R like - compilations to 8 min long little treasures. Also: Hello ! 👋
This story could be a movie, I love the mystery behind it but can you imagine a rated R movie about this one. It would be🤌!!!!...most if not all the creepypastas you read can be short horror films/movies.. Also the way you tell the stories are exquisite 👌. Keep up the great work, And keep em' coming!!!!To me,one of the BEST on RU-vid and there's only a few...Thank you Mr. Lighthouse Horror!!!!
Getting even better with the voices Stephen. Thank God you are still giving us steady content. Gotta finish off the Half price voodoo store doll stories at some point.
God, I love your voice. And the stories you read are all so amazing ❤️ I could listen to your content for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. You are by far thee best narrator I've ever listened to ever 🥲 thank you souch for existing
How to make a creepy pasta/ horror movie character: make them stupid. Here’s how I’d react to seeing a smelly thing even *potentially* move on the beach: *exits shack* *sees thing move* *enters shack*
Every time I see an upload from you I start smiling & the anticipation builds to such a level that I get out of whatever I am supposed to be doing asap so I can listen post haste. ♥️ you Stephen! ♥️♥️♥️♥️😎🇦🇺✌️
Such a surreal story of working class folk not even knowing the eldrich horror was slowly coming for their due debts they could never be able to settle.
