Yeah he doesn't know what happens but what he is saying it doesn't matter what color. Racism exists among your own people. Case AimPoint they have videos of black men actually degrading the chocolate beautiful sisters that are on here and basically saying they would never wipe them they would sleep with them they're pretty but no your not wifey material because you're too dark. Both Africa and the U.S. is being ran by men. Women are always sexually exploited when it comes to jobs it's just not on a large-scale like it is in Africa. Africa is so behind because of the greed of these leaders who should not be president for over thirty and forty years that's a dictatorship. There is no way I would want a leader to be over my country and nothing is changing from one day to the next. That's insanity. Jeffrey is so right there is no system setup to protect the people and they take 11 years to give you a damn passport man they're holding those people their hostage😂😂

Jeffrey has his eyes fixed on money. He’s very delusional about culture, politics, and history. In Jamaica we walked everywhere as children. I walked to pre-k with two other children the same age. It was about two miles and back then people were like how they are now in Ghana. He was physically abused racially from China and he doesn’t even know it. He reported on a man being assaulted racially who died in China because of his color and he doesn’t connect it. He should come to the west and get this money he wants so badly then after 20 years he should report back out on his experience then I’ll listen 🙇🏾‍♀️ Money is needed to live everywhere but peace of mind, spirit and soul is priceless. Thanks Daniel for your wisdom.

Before I came to the U.S., I used to go to the trash place to collect iron parts and supply a company in tons, and I supply wpk to some German company in Lagos. I made serious money and purchased a 3 ton flat bed truck, and I was in Lagos Island doing some serious stuff legitimately. Fast forward, I left and got to the U.S. and saw the hypocrisy, and from the day I recognize it, I have channeled 90% of all I earned to building commercial building back home. And secured a 200acre back home to grow and produce what I'll sell in the commercial building. I cut down my expenses, I do t let the glitter trap me. I wish I never came, would have gone way far but I still learn a thing or two here BUT, no child of mine will get trapped in the west I intend to make sure od that. We can't think for the short term we must think of the next generation, and to hand over to them we must build their mindset and we must break the veil of depression and not being enough mentality the west sell to them. This thing is deep. This thing is real. As an Ethiopian diaspora millennial who was born and raised in the wealthiest country in Europe, and having studied and lived in all the major financial and tech hubs in the Western Hemisphere, growing up in an affluent environment and holding down a 200k+ annual wage, some will call that the ultimate success for an early 30 year old., but the truth is that Daniel not only possesses a valid standpoint but also exhibits a significantly more advanced perspective than his Ghanaian counterpart when it comes to perceiving the intricacies and long-term implications of ideas and legacies in an ever-evolving world, considering the historical atrocities endured by Sub Saharan Africans and their descendants. I comprehend that a childhood spent in a village and a life of arduous struggle in Africa during the 90s undoubtedly fosters a mindset of scarcity rather than abundance. However, what concerns me most is that individuals from the African continent are increasingly adopting a simplistic mentality, with the wisdom and principles of the past fading away. They now perceive luxury items such as Chanel purses, Patek Philippe watches, and Range Rover Sports as the epitome of success in life. Regrettably, they fail to recognize that they will never attain genuine influence, respect, or equality in the Western Hemisphere. Jeffrey, on the other hand, will likely experience humbling sooner rather than later.

The U.S. was built from small businesses and that worked well. Black Americans complain about getting shook down for licenses for businesses. Small business hired more people than corporations. Now corporations are taking over and killing small business who will never pay more than cheap labor. This is what Jeffery is going to run into. He will be cheap labor paying $2,000 a month for rent. If we don't help each other, we all are going to suffer. The burden can't be on coming here and displacing our working poor. Black Americans don't leave their poor people, suffering, we can't!. Our ancestors NEVER taught that. Now all the resources we pay and fight for goes to people who are pouring in over the border to be cheap labor. @KuttyJoe
@KuttyJoe Год назад
You won't be a super power until you learn to love yourselves. African Americans are exactly the same. We are all divided in every possible way. The super power of whites is that they are in love with their whiteness. The destruction of blacks is is that we hate our blackness! None of our lives will change until we are able to resolve this problem Africa is the perfect example. Everything is run by blacks. Greatest resources in the world. Yet the average person is poor. California apparently has a greater economy than the entire continent of Africa. That would not be possible if whites hated themselves and each other. Black people work to make their individual selves wealthy, not their people. White people work to maintain white supremacy which lifts all white people up, mentally and economically. So as long as blacks don't care about each other, a politician will sell all of your resources to make himself rich, while African countries remains in poverty. The same is happening with black people around the world. All of us are the same. Mentally broken, self destructing, no unity, self hate, desperate to be white and escape blackness.

It was the hard labor, ingenuity, talent, and brilliance of "BLACK AMERICANS ANCESTORS (their children), who are FBA, ADOS, Black Americans, who LABOR and TALENT made THE U.S. a wealthy nation! Europe got and have always gotten African resources and now China has joined them. So you can stop the LIE! Africans in the 21st century came to the U.S., as ILLEGAL CHEAP LABOR, working for the direct benefit of CORPORATIONS who practice cheap labor. Any strides you made, was a pulled up off the backs of Black Americans. Africans just like THE MAJORITY Immigrants are on the WELFARE SYSTEM in the U.S.! Which means the majority of you came with no money and are dependent on PUBLIC SERVICES! We as U.S. TAXPAYERS, pay for your shelter, food, and medical care and the education of your children. WE pay for your being in this country. Only some among you are making a decent living! The U.S. have a TRADE DEFICIT with Africa. They buy more from Africa, than get export to Africa. The U.S. placed bases in Africa and they pay someone for them being there. Tell your governments to tell them to leave. The U.S. is resource rich, it actually don't need African resources. I.E. why they give you AID! Stop taking it! The only people who's hard labor built the United States of America, are BLACK AMERICANS, and OUR ANCESTORS. Not African immigrants, who are crossing the borders, even now. What on earth did you build in the U.S? Also SUPER POWERS, have super militaries. Where is Africa's military? Africa cannot tell Europeans or China to leave your lands. This country has been built and thriving for generations because of my ancestors! 21st century Immigrants cost the U.S. more in SERVICES than they pay in TAXES! You were allowed to come here to help tear down the economic viability and influence of Black Americans. Black Immigrants know this and now so do we. Once your usefulness is gone you will see how the real racism exists. This is why we will never support this type of immigration anymore. Africa has TRADED one OPPRESSOR for another! Welfare Use by Immigrant and Native Households Center for Immigration Studies cis.org › Report Welfare use varies among immigrant groups. Households headed by immigrants from Central America and Mexico (73 percent), the Caribbean (51 percent), and Africa (48 percent) have the highest overall welfare use. Those from East Asia (32 percent), Europe (26 percent), and South Asia (17 percent) have the lowest.

We must never forget what happened and do not forget the Arab Slave Trade. A lot of Africans use Europe and America as an escape but do not even know what we went through. The rest of the world cant function without Africa PERIOD. This is where we should be helping each other. I can relate to both sides. I was born and raised in Jamaica, and the difficulties the young man talks about is very much the same. There is a lot of corruption that contributes to why our country are like that. I left Jamaica 8 years ago to the US and now want to go back home. The difference is, if the corruption is as a results of our own doing, then we can fully blame ourselves, but when the western system has got you in the neck, that’s the effects..we had our own spirituality that kept us in check and never encouraged corruption, until these people came along..we’re not playing on an equal field, they had us in negatives, trying to get to zero before we can start fixing..that’s the damage on us and our system.

Daniel has the knowledge & firsthand experience that this young brother lacks. The sterile British education system has nearly erased the brutality they brought to the continent as oppressors. The history is grossly distorted. They left Ghana in 1957 & left behind the devastation and disaster that we see today! Jeffrey must realize that the West will never allow him to rise above the glass ceiling which purposely keeps us from exceeding the boundaries they’ve put in place! Krissy Fusion I find it extremely amazing that people come from Black countries where everyone look like them and complain about corruption and lack opportunities but will not stay and fight for those opportunities. Black Americans for 400 years have had to fight our way out of bondage, fight through Jim Crow, fight for Civil Rights and still endure racism to get opportunities. Yet instead of fighting in your countries for the opportunities you deserve, you come here and compete for opportunities and resources that are suppose to go to u.s. citizens. Jamaica crime rate is out of control and that same criminal activity exists in NY, FL and in every enclave in cities where Jamaican and other immigrants live. The same crimes that exist in the Caribbean, Latin America and Africa followed you. We are paying for everyone coming over that border and that is pushed into our communities. I have NEVER seen Africa or the Caribbean extend a hand to Black Americans. I see our working poor ending up being the working homeless while their taxes pay to house people who walk in. I am not saying this is you but I see these same people who immigrated here get online and thrash Black Americans, while taking advantage of everything our people fought and died for. Therefore if you are in a Black nation, and you will not fight for opportunities for your children, I don't blame Black Americans nor South Africans for now standing up and suing if necessary to stop this kind of cheap labor genocide so their children will have a future in their own homeland!

Afro people are discriminated against in the job market. Five thousand dollars a month in the U.S. is not sufficient to live comfortably; it will all be spent on rent or mortgage, utility bills, different types of insurance, and taxes. To save money in America, you must earn ten thousand a month and up. Many Nigerians, Ghanaians and Liberians have died in the United States before they were able to receive their Social Security benefits and Retirement benefits. I think if we better understood each other, this would bring us closer together. Our young brother doesn't quite understand how trauma passes along through the genetic coding system. And how this gene coding in the body effects our decisions right up to this day. I also understand Jeffrey's point about the youth having nothing. And how western societies give them the opportunity to GAIN something. We all were 28 once. I thought the same as he in my youth. The panthers taught us better than anyone how we have to FEED OUR PEOPLE FIRST....before they would ever stop to even listen. A starving man could care less about the future....they are gonna go INSTINCTIVELY to the one who's feeding them. Which is why they run to the belly of the beast. I love this exchange. " I can see that hard truth, all blacks need to put our resources together to support or create businesses that create global products where each purchase benefits Ghana and all of Africa. It's time we stop looking the other way and let's bring our skills, expertise, experience and capabilities back HOME to Africa and assist our brothers and sisters in Ghana and all of Africa and produce global products made in Africa under one brand and sell them globally, a company that's not corrupt where half or even more than half of the profits go's directly back to our people in Mother Africa as help. Building Africa's Brand with global products made in Africa with fair sharing of wealth will benefit all black people everywhere. I'm a Jamaican born raised in the US citizen college grad professional career in banking and finance and I can tell you in my perspective 17 to $20 an hour is minimum wage. You can't even rent a studio apartment with that low wage that doesn't include utilities food car insurance if your car is paid for we won't even talk about a car note so Jeffrey is highly deluded he needs to listen to his elder Mr King to hear what he has to say because Mr. Kiing speaks truth based on experience. I think one of the major contributing factor to Africans thinking that the West is a bed of roses is simply because they don't know the history of the Transatlantic slave trade the middle passage that whole thing I think if they went and study the history of slavery and what took place on the motherland to the west and the Americas and also speak to someone that have experience racism brutality and inequality perhaps Jeffrey and others like him will have a better understanding of what Mr King is saying and what life in the West is like compared to those that were born on the continent of Africa

When he realised there was no way back and he had to make the most of a bad situation he changed his mindset i know it was not easy and he had to hit rock bottom but by the grace of God and extreme hustling he is now doing ok he is not rich he is not poor but he has managed to curve something out for himself i know presently the struggle in Ghana at this present time has hit him harm but he is striving and surviving if he had to choice to run back to the uk most definitely he would but Ghana has made him a better person if he stayed in the uk he may of been in and out of prison. The point of this story is not to say Ghana is easy but to the youth in Ghana need to know they have no choice but to struggle and make it work and accept the harsh realities because when they do they will stop wasting time and money and help us get that one step closer to changing it for the next generation unfortunately this generation will be the martyrs for change if they don’t it will never change and that’s the sad truth. We Ghanaians have forgotten the strength of our ancestors who knew the importance of fighting for a better Ghana.

Daniel from uk speaks sound wisdom. Jeffrey, your African mindset is what is going to stop Africa from advancing...that's not an insult, i understand where you're speaking from... from a post colonial mindset. I'm African, been living in the uk for the last 20 years, I have a great job in the gvt but I'm seeing things from Daniels perspective now becauseI'm still a slave to the system. When i ran from Africa, i was running from the African system that you're talking about, but now I'm seeing from Daniels lenses that i should return and build Africa. Hopefully, this conversation will also trigger your mindset to think build Africa. After all Africa need strong men like you. Dont allow the pain of past African systems and upbringing numb you to cause you forget your beautiful land. Don't give up on the continent brother. Please and Bless.

I traveled to England for greener pastures and you may be able to achieve certain materials goals but at what cost? Whenever I get off the flight home to Ghana, the feeling is priceless but I’m aware that people are suffering in Ghana too but it’s real the sufferings of others from the west too both are real. It's absolutely astonishing just how blatantly Africa continues to be used, exploited, and robbed! The corruption of leadership is one of it's biggest issues.

See guys, the horrors of Slavery should not be belittled or downplayed. In Germany it is a crime to belittle the horrors of the Hollocaust. Same should be done to Slavery. And our African brothers should be sensitive about this. Yes, we were colonized but that that cannot be compared to Slavery. Its all about empathy and sensitivity.

Both make good points. One thing I will say is that it seems like a lot of the diasporans making moves in Africa are taking advantage AFTER they made wealth in the West. However, the West is wealthy in the first place because of their exploitation of Africa and other developing economies.

Can someone one ask Jeffrey one question for me? There are soooo many rich people in Ghana asked him if all of them are rich because they travel abroad? Most rich Ghanaian people are rich and they started from the scratch. There is a lot of job for the youth just that they all want an office job and want someone to open a business to hire them. He’s talking about a coconut seller. Tell him i know a lady who sells ice water and have two kids and both kids are now in college with ice water money. And a friend of mine has built a house by selling coconut. Jeffrey advice your youth to do something for them self there are soo many opportunities in Ghana.

Excellent discussion bro thanks for hosting this debate 🙏🏾. As a black American man let me weigh in. There is truth on both sides and in my opinion it boils down to this. Life requires work, the work looks different from region to region around the world. There is dignity in work. However, as a black man, you are REQUIRED to work harder at the COST of your dignity. I have a co worker at a warehouse who is from the Congo, he is a civil engineer from an African University. He has been reduced to an order picker in a dusty warehouse (there is still honor and dignity in that mind you). He is constantly ridiculed for his accent (even though he speaks 5 languages and most Americans can barley speak their own) he is called names “African booty scratcher” and so on. He is 15 years my senior. However my non degree holding self is his supervisor. This is backwards. To add to this, he is ignored by everyone in any discussion. I have all of the qualifications to be a Warehouse Manager with the work experience to back (16 years experience with CDLs) I am constantly passed up for the position for inexperienced, non degree holding white men for the position. This is an insult to dignity (which is why I’m about to leave this job). If you come to the USA, get your money and like the Mexicans, work 5-10 years and leave. Unless your dignity is for sell. I am sorry for the long post just wanted to weigh in

Very interesting dialogue. Daniel is well-read and understands the systems that the West and other races have placed on the continent. Without AFRICA the west would have never been what it is today. Sad thing is the West and others are fighting hard to keep that system in place so they can continue to remain at the top. As Daniel says clean our minds to re-start by KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS. Then and only then we will regain our position to be at the top. Thanks to the moderator for a great episode.
