@@Reviloj Department of Public Works. In my city and some of the surrounding cities, that’s what they call several of the city’s agencies combined together. Water and sewer. Trash and recycling pick up. Cleaning, repairing, re-paving, and plowing the roads.
That yard was so uneven that it may have put a strain on your equipment. You did a wonderful job with such a huge improvement now. That storm drain looks like it will actually work now when the rain come. Thank you for sharing 🙏👍👏
Excellent job mowing, trimming, edging and cleaning sewer drain! Would love to see you com back and trim bushes and overhanging limbs, cut back dead branches, and remove all debris. Now THAT would be something!!!
@@joshslawnservice the house next to me sat vacant for 8 years. Me and the neighbor on the other side were told we couldn’t mow it due to liability. We complained to our HOA, township and the bank. Finally the township took over mowing it on a regular basis. It’s a long story the man died and his kids wanted nothing to do with it.
Holy moley Josh, you found a dirty doozie and turned it into a good looking property again, 👍👍👍 and just so you know, Post 10 would be proud of you for cleaning out the storm drains, cool video Josh
@@joshslawnservice I like it when you pause during your video to make some comment. *This is the exactly the kind of job I like to see plus the more junk you remove and dead branches the more interesting it is! Thanks for making videos buddy! 👍😁😹
That job must have taken many hours of hard work. Nice b4 & after though. That homeowner is definitely in need of help. I'm sure your services were appreciated. I'll b tuning in 2 more of your videos. Nice job! Your Oregon viewer.
Looks great! Huge difference from before! The storm drain was a monster! Pretty sure the entire street appreciates you clearing and cleaning out the years worth of mud! You always do great work and your camera angles are on the money shot!😊Stay safe and healthy 😷Take care!
Such a good job and helping the city on what their suppose to do. Makes me wonder that the neighbors just don't care. But you always do a great job. Thank you for the video!
I have noted some general videos of people specializing in drain cleaning. Apparently, a clogged drain can cause a whole neighborhood to flood, and so people have been learning how to unclog them. Seeing you took curb cleaning to a new level at this place, congratulations. People who mentioned drain cleaning on a different video were very appreciative of the idea. So you hit on something important and certainly saved that particular street area a lot of trouble. That "chigger" plant you recommend not walking through behaves something like "Deer's Tongue" locally. Pretty plant, terrible clinging seeds. Another yard with some rough ground. Legacy of the no longer visible dog? I'm wondering how the plant stalks will resolve. Taking a hedge trimmer to them or? Smart idea to spray the dog tie-out so it was more visible. Appreciate your diligence in exposing limbs and such getting buried in growth. At least they are safer and the end hope will be they get hauled away. That was a really good recovery Josh, wouldn't know it was the same place.
He did a fantastic job on this house and those dirty drains. I pray he really gets blessed for doing such a good job. I love watching people mow and clean yards .
I agree the city owes you something, (even a simple thank you at the very least), for doing their job for them re cleaning out the storm drain. That was so clogged, I wouldn't wonder if that street flooded at that point. I was wondering what was making that back yard ride so rough. you spent a lot of time and gas making this property presentable. Those sticker and thistle weeds were nasty. The stalks had to have been dulling your mower blades more and more at each pass. Great work on a tough job.
Gas is getting crazy now, I've dropped a ton of yards because they were so spread out, they aren't woth driving across town for anymore. I sharpen the blades after every yard like this, and they look like they've been hitting 10 yards a day for a week.
@@joshslawnservice I feel bad for guys like you who are just trying to keep a roof over your heads and food on the table. Lets hope we can turn the tables in Nov. As we speak the current admin. is trying to federalize elections. If that happens we will never have an honest election again. I smell smoke in this country, and if the democrats keep it up there will be a fire.
You know... it's a huge lot, and frankly a nice little home. Such a shame it's not occupied. If walls could talk, I can image the conversations this home would have...... you did such a terrific job on this TIDY up, wow. I can image a play area, swing set, t-pee, bbq grill on a patio...lounge chairs, some sort of water feature bubbling into a pond...... cold ice tea - awwwww! This is a great house for a young family with lots of potential!!!
Those drains haven't been cleared in years, that should've been done by the city, you went the extra mile, thank you! That backyard was a monster! From the amount of wild lettuce, I would say it has been allowed to grow before, and reseeded.
Wow, what a transformation, and the storm drain, that probably hasn't been cleared in years and years. Great job considering what you had to work with. That truly was a challenge.
Wow!!! Those drains were really clogged up. Thanks for going the extra mile. Post 10 would probably shake your hand. I love for you to go back to those drains on a rainy day and see if they work properly. No telling what was down in there that you couldn’t get to. Super well done.
This turned out super nice and made a huge difference in the neighborhood. And I applaud you for clearing out the storm drain for the city. That back yard had so many holes and ruts that I pray you didn’t throw your back out!! Be safe and many blessings for all you give others.
Kudos to you my friend. Great job. Excellent results. I can only imagine how much hard work you put into cleaning the storm drains and that back yard 😱. Stay safe.
I am really impressed Josh with your handling of the storm sewer grates. I would be more than happy to have those here to avoid the Lake Erie thing that happens at the foot of my driveway. You did a real service to the neighbourhood, my man!
I really try to give the city workers a break about sidewalks and curbs but no excuse for the water drains! That is definitely their responsibility! Great job young man 🙏❤️
Us Southerners call those fuzzy hitchhikers 'beggar lice' or 'stick tights'. Just wait until your long haired cat or dog runs through a patch of them! ARGHG!!!! Great yard job, Josh! Thank you for sharing AND thanks for protecting yourself from all that dust boiling into your face. Such a crying shame the City allowed that grass to grow over the drainage...
Those Storm Drains were unbelievable. City Maintenance owes you a big one, if not, then one for life. These Acts of Kindness are the only thing known to man that feeds itself. 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice job Josh. That was a nic3 thing you did on this property, don't know the circumstances why it gotten so bad. The storm drain should have been a city thing, I would think. I'm sure the neighbors appreciated the effort and nice deed you did. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
Greatings from The Netherlands. Amazing job with the drains and the yard. How is it possible that nobody keep this in shape? Big respect for you. Have nice day.
Just an 'incredible' Transformation Josh, your Skill Set is so professionally formidable getting through that density of high weeds etc, was concerned for your equipment on that uneven ground out back....and clearing that Strom drain so thoroughly was a service to the community at large. Hope you got to relax after that transformed garden, coz you certainly earned it Josh🍺🥃 Take care🌻
What a weedy, unkempt mess to take on! You need a medal! Obviously some big dog dug a lot of holes in that yard! That storm drain….so much work! What a great service to the neighborhood!👍🏻💚💚💚
Hey Josh that yard looked like a jungle before you got to it but as usual you made it look like paradise after the transformation. Keep up the great work that you do.
Well done it was awesome I am very very proud of you thank you so much for what you are doing well done again from Nico and Elaine from South Africa North wes🌞👍👍😊🙏👍😊🙏👍😊🙏💕💕
That was one heck of a tough job you took on their Josh! You did an amazing transformation of that yard what a mess it was... And the storm drains OMG how can the neighbors in that area let that happen? Someone call the city for C%#$@% sakes !! You are truly a hero helping these unfortunate citizens out .... Take care out there Subscribing and watching from Toronto Ontario Cheers buddy 👍
What a scary yard, it is so uneven you wouldn't know what you you are running over. Those storm drains were a challenge also. Good of you to clean this up. 😘
Josh you have done an amazing job on this neglected yard. Looks amazing now. that was an awfully bumpy backyard. The neighbors will be happy that the storm drain is cleaned out. Surprised the city didn't take care off it.
makes me / many wonder why bother paying property taxes / rates ....when clearly the city /s ..is/ are NOT spending it where needed .... and with the bad weather many parts of the world is experiencing lately .... all drains need to ' kept up '
Beautiful job! Looked like you needed a four wheel drive mower for that backyard 😆 and thank goodness you didn’t hit that metal dog tie. Smart thing to paint it a bright color for the next guy who might not be as lucky as you! Your videos are as awesome as you are! Thanks and God Bless You for what you do ❤️❤️❤️
Nice work Josh .I feel blessed that my town has a Streets in sanitation department that would never let the drain get that clogged we also have street sweepers that come by at least once a month.
No F in weigh, whey, or way! You cleaned out a storm drain my man, our taxes are supposed to take care of that! Was someone dumping dirt in the street?!? Way good on you... subscribed 🙂
That yard was a mess front and back. Sorry about the stickers in the yard. they should have told you about that. You could have pulled them out before you ran over them. that back yard was full of holes too. That snake was scary. Thanks for cleaning that drain system. Now when it rains the whole street won't be flooded. God bless.
