stray kids were formed in a very unique way as jyp trusted chan enough to pick the members himself as he had been a trainee for 6 years at that point he chose han first which is why he's nicknamed as 'chan's first child' i.n was picked second and it was because chan heard him sing at a showcase and loved his voice so much that he knew innie had to be in the group, even though he was only 14/15 at the time then everyone else was gradually picked between 2014-2017, lee know being the final member even though he had only been a trainee for 2 months it's why chan cares so deeply for them all, and they all care for him too, as he's the reason they are in stray kids
Channie is aware of the custom that the oldest has more "authority" but his parents raised him in Australia as "the youngest always come first" and he decided to keep that in Korea towards his members🥺 and all the juniors as well!! I.N was initially supposed to debut with a younger group of trainees but Bang Chan (who was mainly responsible for picking the members and creating the group) took an interest in him. He had to work really hard but his hyungs helped him a lot and thankfully he got to be part of SKZ ❤❤❤ they all love him so much, this makes me feel all warm and fluffy !
Stray kids have always been the most wholesome grp... I was never interested in kpop.. after 7 years being aware of kpop industry but not interested, skz came in and sweeped me as a STAY❤ #LoveSTAY
IN, Seungmin, Felix & Han are often referred to as the Maknae line of SKZ and Chanbin, Lee Know and Bang Chan the Hyung line. Bang Chan has said his parents always served their youngest first and Chan is keeping that tradition going w his members. They always have IN make toasts too. They’re raising a confident young man!
Bang Chan actually formed Stray Kids- he picked every member on the team (and then they had to go through a survival show together to prove to the company he'd picked the right members). I.N had been in the kids weekend team but Chan wanted him for Stray Kids so he would do extra practices with him to make sure he caught up with everyone else. They really love him a lot. During the pandemic I think I read that I.N was doing his school work on Chan's laptop, he went to school a year later so he only graduated in 2021, the poor kid was doing homework in music show waiting rooms for 3 years. It might add to the feeling of him being a baby that he was still going to school for 2 years after everyone else. But he also is genuinely quite adorable which helps 😄
All members of SKZ appear to be very emotionally intelligent and supportive. They are very lucky to have found each other, and I.N. really is so lucky to be the maknae in a group like that.
I love that Chan is keeping some of our Australian vibes in the group. Youngest eating first and treating all members equally. So cute when I.N is treated like the leader and Chan, well, he's foive. hahaha
All of I.N’a hyung adore him and as much as Innie will pretend he hates it, he rlly loves them all. Yh Seungmin is a hyung for I.N and whilst he is the second-youngest, Han and Felix are only a week older than him, and many Stays agree that Felix seemed like the maknae at first glance.
that's right seungmin is 00-liner and was born (22th) in the same month as han(14th) and felix(15th) so at this point he's closer to these two. however he's also close with i.n cuz they're clicking, get really well together AND are only members of vocal-racha so that's why it seems like they're closer at the age perspective. they spend so much time together every day
On their ages: Chan Lee Know and Changbin were born in 97, 98, and 99 respectively. Chan is 25, Lee Know and Changbin are 24 (international age) Hyunjin, Han, Felix, and Seungmin are all born in 2000, Hyunjin is 23, the rest were born in September (Han is one day older than Felix) I.N. 2001, 22
I.N definitely won at life, and we won for getting to know him. Like the other7 members, I would not be able to stop doting on and flirting with him. Thanks for doing such a fun mix of SKZ, Ben. There is so much duality (and talent) in the group it's crazy.
I.N now is strong as Lee Know. He won a physical competition against Bangchan and Lee Know. Since Lee Know and the other members respect him as grown men. They said: he is no baby bread any more.

Chan picked all the members of Stray Kids, that is why predebut he seemed like the weight of the world was on his shoulders….because it was. If Stray Kids didn’t debut it would have be Chans responsibility. I’m so glad that these young men have found each other and can lean on each other when they are going through tough times.

For the record: 1. JYP gave Bang Chan the authority to *choose* every member of Stray Kids and I think he chose I.N second (after Han which is why he's called Chan's 'first child') when he was 14ish. He was *very* young (in general terms, even if not for idol trainees) and I think in a way Bang Chan spoils I.N because he doesn't want him to go through even a fraction of the dark head-space times that Bang Chan went through as his 7 years as a trainee. He's a kind protective soul and everyone is better for it. 2. Bang Chan was raised in a 'makanae goes first' family so he brought that to Stray Kids where I.N eats first, usually gets given their awards to hold etc. In fact their group tends to have a largely loose 'heirachy' which isn't common as the age structured heirachy tends to be pretty ingrained in Korean culture, but in Stray Kids case I think that's why they all seem so comfortable both with each other and to just be their usual goofy selves because they don't have the same kinds of internal restrictions of 'you can't say that to *** he's older than you, it's impolite/inappropriate' and that was largely brought about by Bang Chan and the others followed his lead. Bang Chan treats the others as equals within the group while also showering them all with attention and affection and I genuinely think that's probably helped a lot of them become so comfortable in their own skins because they're pretty much all 100% supportive of each other which is kind of amazing and wonderful to see and gives off major family/sibling vibes. I mean Bang Chan *can* and *has* brought out the leader card on occasion but because he does it so infrequently, the guys know to take it *very* seriously when he does. 3. I.N is adorable and insanely talented and even when he might not always feel that way, his brothers are always happy to hype him up and support him whenever he needs it (and when he doesn't 😂)
you mentioned how skz was formed?well, chan personally handpicked each and everyone of them and they've gone thru survival show of the same name .. which was also picked by them ..." straykids" .. their logo was made by chan .. and their tagline was made by them.. so basically all in straykids is 99.99% made by straykids... 😊
Stray Kids is always wholesome. Even if I didn't like their music, I'd watch watch their content. They went through so much to debut and they've gone through a lot since. They're a true family.

Actually Seungmin, Han and Felix were born the same month with a gap of at most 8 days so the 3 of them are the same age and a few months apart from I.N
They are OBSESSED w him and it since their debut till now the obsession just GET BIGGER and i.n will always be the baby in their eyes, its always so wholesome to watch 😭
Watching I.N grow up over these last five years has been incredible! The man is finding himself recently (to the dismay of Stay 🥴🥴 lol), and with the love and support of all of his hyungs, i can't wait to see all Innie will accomplish! 💖😌
You could consider that there's 4 maknae on skz since Han, Felix, and Seungmin is all born in September. Han - Sep 14, 2000, Felix- Sep 15,2000, and Seungmin- Sep 22, 2000. Those 3 are just 5 months older to I.N (born in Feb 8, 2001). As I all know, they're now using the international age system. So, literally all of them are all same age. Well, officially I.N is the Maknae (official)
He was so smol when they began the survival show, I forget sometimes when I see him now, the whole grown up he's grown into. Weird para-social parent vibes like I'm so glad he found himself such a good second family to help as he grows into the person he's supposed to be. They all really do care for him so well.

I think the reason why they treat him like someone so much younger is because when they debuted he looked so much younger. With the braces? He looked like a kid. And you can watch someone grow up to become an adult, they’ll always look like that kid
