Personally glad to see you coming back even if for this short notice video. In my opinion, simmers usually forget that in a simulation game run in a platform like this, it becomes much more of a task than a fun thing to do as leisure. It is also a burnout. As a viewer, I totally see this happening not only in RU-vidrs but to writers as well. Just don't forget that you hold the wheel on this, and it should not only be fun for us but for you as a creator. If it doesn't fulfill you, then you are right. A fresh start is the best thing. I am wondering what the new series will be, if sims 2 or sims 3? Or maybe another game at all. I completely sympathize with you on what you are feeling. I am in a similar spot with my work life, I studied a lot to become what I thought I was good at, only to find myself burnt out and filled with low confidence, etc. My job became an unwanted chore, and it took my months to realize that I needed to cut things and start anew. Nothing wrong with taking time to think and figure things out, this might even be for the better in short. Have a great weekend and get well soon!

Thank you for the Honeybrews. Truly I would spend hours and hours everyday watching them. I know life must go on and that means saying goodbye to this wonderful family you have created. I honestly have as well, not been motivated to do anything whether it be my interests or not. And I want to write but I cannot somehow. A few thoughts: Please don't continue to apologize. Do what you need to do to take care of yourself. Take a break if you need to. Experiment with other video formats if that helps. When that shopping cart showed up on my UI, I rage-quit The Sims. It was too much. It was another level of advertisements that I neither wanted nor needed. My husband has talked me into continuing to play, but I've never really got back into it yet. 4:18 That's a unique way to cook a fish!

i know your videos are really story based, but i miss the days like in the early honeybrew videos where it was less story based and more just like… gameplay focused if that makes sense

Would you consider doing a variety of different video games on your channel to keep yourself being stimulated? or maybe even older sims games like TS3 or even TS2?
