In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)
There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

Oh my goodness....It's a Small World Doll brought back wonderful memories because it was my favorite part of the New York World's Fair many, many years ago when I went with my Grammie, aunt, and uncle. Great choice on the travel bag and love the fabric of it. That ship in the beginning reminded me of the USS Bounty that sank off the Carolina coast a few years ago in the hurricane. I had seen it being repaired that summer before in Boothbay Harbor; my favorite little coastal town here in Maine.

Hi Jessica! oooh, i love the ship @ 0:41. i am glad that you found the curtain hooks. i haven't been any where except the dentist and grocery store. i saw my dentist again yesterday. that one tooth near my abscess needs to be pulled. it has a gold crown and i hate to see it go, but it's too far gone, even for a root canal. it's kinda hot and quite humid and overcast here today. we have rain in the forecast. oops! my alarm is telling me it's time for my last antibiotic pill. hiya Peanut! take care my sweet friend!

That model of a Clipper ship was beautiful. It belongs on a shelf in a library, very interesting. I definitely would have picked up the Pooh bear nightlight. Does she know the word, "Petco," well enough upon hearing it to know what it is?! Oh how I would love to see her on a shopping excursion in both Petco and GW! BTW, I stopped by GW on Thursday since it's just down the street from my eye dr.'s office. Girl, I found a boho "arch" wall mirror with a thick white wicker border for $6.99; then I found the cutest clear plastic purse that looks like a triple-sized cassette tape from the 70's/80's/90's. It even has a paper label on both sides that looks very much like the typical label on a vintage cassette tape. The purse was only $4.99 and I immediately knew I wanted to use it as a cool "throwback" conversation decor piece. But you know what Jessica? I think I've developed FOMO in relation to GW now (Fear Of Missing Out) -- and wondering what cool item(s) am I possibly missing out on on the days when I don't go! In my mind, I've thought of going just to look around and not buy anything. Yeah right -- I almost always see _something_ I want or could use! Maybe someday I'll get there, but not anytime soon!😂

@@Hannicarose Awww, so you have FOMO too? I feel your pain. I try to tell myself that what's for me is for me, but sometimes that sense of FOMO wonderment does get to me. But then I love it when I go to a thrift store I haven't been to in a long time (a year or so), and find something really great that I've been wanting for a while. It's like a reward for managing to stay out of the thrift stores, or at least that particular location.😉
