Not a fan of their approach. You lose the playability of a traditional piano when you have that squishy structure. I'd rather see something like a compact Osmose where you can play normally and still have the expression options.
I actually thought I would lose playability as well, but was surprised how I didn’t after practising for a lil while. But I understand everyone have their own preferences :)
I think it is hard to play in tune (with a lot of practice). But if you're trying to play brass, strings or other instruments that don't have precise, locked in tuning, I think the Roli Seaboard makes for a compelling controller.
Not quite true it’s different but if you get the little controller block that allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the keyboard block, I think it’s the touch block, you can dial up the strike, my biggest gripe with this is lack of support for MPE In software and also Roli customer support is not good.
HELP!! Shall I get a new Block M or should I get a second hand full keyboard Rise 2?? * how to think... I got one budget so cannot get both... I am new to electronic music but not to music... please help me with some ideas of why one outdo the other .. pease give me ideas and direction of how to best choose between these for music creation and sound design! thanks :)
