This is something I never did before, I am sharing something I have never shared with you before. And I’m going to answer an important question in this video. And I am going to tell you a little part of my story. I have been asked this so often, I think it's time to address it. I guess you can this is a frequently asked questions video.

I make Limited Edition Dolls and the editions are small, 5 dolls or less. These dolls are made completely by me, I hand sculpt them in clay, then I make my own molds and duplicate them in silicone. I paint and root the hair myself and it is a long careful process. All my past editions are sold out, and will not be made again. This is a new edition made in December 2020. When they are completed I sell these dolls by sending an email to my mailing list with purchase instructions.
I also sculpt and duplicate some dolls in silicone and some in vinyl, and sell them unpainted and without hair for other artists to paint and root. When available these blank silicone or vinyl reborn kits can be purchased on my website by clicking the STORE button at the top of my website. If you subscribe to my mailing list you will be notified when I have new dolls available or when I introduce a new blank kit. I'm sorry I don't do custom dolls.

I have recently seen here on RU-vid people making videos of how you should sell your magnificent works of art ..it's none of their business what way you choose to sell .you are a brilliant artist and I have the honour of owning three of your dolls which I truly cherish .take care of yourself and don't let these people put a sour taste in your mouth

Min 12:02 I have to applaud you for speaking from your heart. And that collector was completely savage and it’s so disheartening. Being an artist isn’t a 9-5 job where you clock in and out. Sometimes the art process requires inspiration. I know you’re a professional artist but you’re human and life happens. I’m sorry about your son and that entire situation. As a long time customer of yours it definitely saddens me to hear how some has been very insensitive and try to control how you run your business. I know it must have taken a lot for you to make these videos but I’m glad you did! This has really given some insight on why you have changed how you sell your Art dolls and also help potential new customers know how to purchase one. I would like to say you're an amazing artist! You bring joy to so many. Unfortunately there are some mean spirited people and they damper the spirit of others. I've seen many people become discouraged and leave the community or lose their enthusiasm. Unfortunately you can't please everyone. Someone will always be dissatisfied, but ultimately you have to sell your work the way that you feel works best for you. I have several of your dolls that I truly love and will cherish and keep them, because I know the doll market can change so drastically from one year to the next. I hope you and your family are doing well and I hope a much needed break will help to re-energize your spirits.

Hi Claire, thank you for taking the time to put your own thoughts out there.. it’s always good to hear the Artists perspective directly. Love your new kit boy.. I appreciate every detail on the beautiful baby dolls in my collection, the fact that I have had two for over 18 months -(still in pristine condition, and my, newer to me, Ethan’s are holding up exactly the same way!) is a testament to the quality of every aspect of production of your edition babies, running a small business is very demanding as you have to be “an expert” in all aspects.. from picking up the clay..to seeing the box delivered to the buyers door! It must have been an enjoyable but exhausting journey so far.. enjoy the bits you love.. the creative process ..execute the duty to yourself and your family when letting your precious creations go out of the door to new homes.. 🌹

You are so cherished. It is Heartbreaking how people’s hearts are filled with greed, they are so broken themselves and they don’t even realize it. Please forgive them for yourself. I am so sorry you have been hurt simply trying to do what you love, please don’t allow anyone to stir your heart to a place where you lose the passion you have always had for your art, you are an inspiration to many of us. I’ve learned that many of us in this community, are here looking for missing pieces in our lives, and that is what brings us here, but most of us absolutely cherish what you do! Hello even though my dolls from you have been kits , a few I painted myself, I will cherish them forever. I love my Hope sculpt and for some reason she has stolen my heart. Would you believe I am just painting my Edward kit. Yes I have just finished his head. How you sell your dolls is your business but unfortunately we all want them so we all have an opinion lol😁.take your break enjoy your life and I hope you will come back. How do people not have a heart when someone you love has had an accident. But in the doll world more and more woman do not have any compassion. I will enjoy my babies I have. I will I hope one day be able to buy a new vinyl kit. Due to retirement we are travelling . Anyway enjoy everyday. Thankyou for these very informative videos.🤗😘🤗

I had no idea you had experienced so much trouble over the years......I also learned something new I didn't know about Ebay as well.....geez. I have a great respect and admiration for you and I will be sad to see less dolls created by you but I also understand now why you are in need of a break. The eBay incident was appalling. It’s also rude and insensitive to ask that you give away your precious work. Now I understand why you’ve changed the way you sell your dolls and no longer do customs. Recently I’ve noticed how insensitive collectors have become, I hadn’t realized you had been dealing with that mentality for awhile. Especially during a trying time in your life. I don’t know of any other artist who listened to the collectors to the degree that you have. We asked for drink and wet systems, opened eyed Willows, and more availability with the Willow kits. And you complied with our requests! You’re right Claire, there’s just no pleasing everyone. So please, sell your dolls the way you what and make them whenever you choose to do so. Although I’ll miss seeing your dolls more often, I want you(and your family)to be happy and remain in good health too. 😘Great part 2 video.

God bless you and your husband for making therapy babies available to us that need one. I have him named already Kayson Drake Mead-Becker. My husband Allen passed away from cancer in August. Sorry you had to go through all that... when I had an artist from Etsy make my Reborn she got sick for a few days then she had a death in the family and I was very understanding. Before I knew it she was done and my Reborn shipped Quick. It was well worth the little over 3 months wait.
