► In this video, I eat at my least favourite Disneyland Paris restaurant! Restaurant En Coulisse is located inside Studio 1 at Walt Disney Studios, and is a quick service restaurant, serving a variety of typical theme-park food such as very mediocre burgers and chicken nuggets. I thought I'd go back after YEARS to see if my opinion might change about it.

Great video Sam! You should do a video where you rate all the quick service restaurants in DLP. And then maybe one for the buffet restaurants too? Would be very helpful to have all the information of all quick service options in one video, with honest opinions from a Disneyland Paris connoisseur like yourself! 😊

I think I've been here too long... I knew where you'd be as soon as I saw the title! We passed this one up in 2019 due to the loooong lines - so glad we did because it was our first visit and I think it would've put a downer on it... Thx for your honest opinion - especially on the Halloween burger menu at the Lucky Nugget a few days ago! I chose my DLP reservations for this Halloween mainly based on your reviews and the impressions of the restaurants given by your videos. I'm just a bit sad that Jack's was not available anymore when I reserved 2 months in advance. We trust in your experiences (even though I know that tastes can be different of course 😄) and thx a lot for that help! I'm really excited!

I had a feeling this was going to be the place, from the title card! Was there a few months ago and utterly underwhelmed by the menu and prices. Burgers? Fine. Those prices for Disney food? Fine. Those prices for those burgers? I could literally hear my stomach growling, but I noped right out of there. So many better options so close by. Feeling vindicated by this review -- thanks for taking one (or two) for the team! ;p

My sister and I ate at this place the last time we were at DLP, mainly due to incoming hanger lol! It was extremely mediocre. After your video I will be making sure to give it a total miss on my next trip. Thanks as always for the tips!! 🙂

Great video Sam! It’s a shame it’s not better like you say it’s in a convenient place. We went here in April, me and my sister are vegetarian and had a limited choice. It was busy and when at the end of the queue, the cast member told us they’d run out of the veggie burgers 😢 so annoying wasting that time in the queue!

I went there on my last day in Paris and I was so disappointed with the food in the parks already that I didn't thought it was thaaat bad. Either I was really hungry or made bad choices thought out the 4 days. We ate at Stark Factory, en Coulisse, Toad Hall and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue, there's so many different options, waiting lines, price ranges that I got so overwhelmed and ate where/what it was easier and more accessible I guess

We ended up eating there twice, it was basic and not very Disney we felt, but there were nuggets and the kids were happy, plus pretty much no food options across studios back in April so it was convenient

My sister and I ended up eating here twice on our trip to DLP last week, it was our first visit to the parks after 15 years! It was mainly out of pure convenience because we were there to make sure we did every attraction possible, if you’re just trying to fill a hole and get back to thrill-seeking I think it does that job well. On our next trip we’d like to try and get into Chez Remy and do some character dining too but I wasn’t early enough in booking unfortunately, now that I’m more well versed in the parks I’d take advantage of better food options and your videos certainly help in that, just wish I’d found you sooner!

Honestly, the first time I ate there on my very first Disneyland Paris trip back in 2019, it became one of my favorite restaurants to eat during my time there.

Totally agree! The worst DLP food I’ve ever had. Everytime ive been the food hasn’t been good. Although some of the food is similar to other quick service options in DLP, the quality is sub standard and I don’t understand why! For example I love Disney nuggets, but at this restaurant they’re awful!X

I have eaten there Sam, but only once and a long time ago! And as you say there’s more choice & options for food now in DLP & Disney Village and I’d probably go elsewhere! And especially with Avengers Campus & the Frozen expansion due - The Studios needed some TLC in the food genre 🙌☺️ x

I think I've eaten here literally once because the queue is always ridiculous. The food was... fine. I think we managed to find seats? Def prefer Cafe Hyperion in terms of a burger quick service.

Have to agree Sam, this is not a very good place to eat. Tried it before and was not impressed , bad value for money. It was one of the reasons that I decided to go for a dining plan for my visits. Like to plan my eating ,and have found the offer always guarantees that the food is a good eating experience.

I've never eaten here but cheekily sat in their outside seating as there was NO WHERE for me and the kids at the time to rest our feet. So disappointing by the sounds of this. I prayed the fish burger was going to be nice because I LOVE a good fish burger, like you Sam😔

I am not really a fan of the food over-all in the park, but i've never experienced the more expensive ones like Walt's. I had the vegan burger once in the restaurant you ate here and it was okay, wouldn't say it was Good, it didn't have a lot of toppings other than vegan mayonaise and lettuce, no tomatoes or vegan cheese at that time, but it wasn't Bad either. I can't explain why i kinda liked it haha. Don't know if they still sell that version there

Unfortunately, Disney is not doing a great job reputationwise with negative aspects like that. Before I went to DLP for the first time, a lot of people who had been there told me about the really bad food. My husband and I stayed at Sequoia Lodge and tried out Remy's, Agrabah Café, Silver Spur Steakhouse, Auberge de Cendrillon and Plaza Gardens - and each time we were pleasantly surprised how good the food and the quality was and confused where those bad reviews were comming from.... - No I see and guess that most people just tried the fast food options at the parks and never knew what they were missing! 😢😮

In all my trips to dlp we usually do 1 day in studios, and that is also the day we eat in disney village 😂 food options have gotten better with the foodstands and avengers campus though, would be nice if they added some breakfast options

That's one of the restaurants that does not appeal to me at all. I really do believe that placing and seating are as important as the food and just the location does not do it for me to have a quiet meal, even if it is quick service.....so never been there. Did have coffee at the hep cat but that's it in Studio 1.

I totally get why this place is always so busy… It’s the only proper place to eat apart from food carts outside,a little courtyard place and the really expensive and almost impossible to book Chez Remy. Now the Avengers campus has opened there are other places but again quite expensive… There’s not many budget friendly places… There very little places to eat …..cheaper. This queue seemed to move ok,compared to the place by Autopia with the spaceship coming out of the roof…vidopolis it used to be called. We queued for nearly 45 minutes and it moved about 3 feet.. We got food from the food cart by star tours… In the studios we couldn’t find anywhere to eat apart from the aforementioned places….

We had a marvel burger meal here during Marvel summer of heroes and really enjoyed it. The burger had a nice sauce on it, cheese on the chips and a mousse type cake included. However it was just like a McDonald’s meal x

My partner wanted to go in here on our trip, I had to firmly say no on your advice Sam 🤣 we did have a bad experience in hyperion, my partner is a fussy eater we asked for a plain burger, when we opened it was normal, I went back asked no sauce si vous plait, they ticked a sheet off, gave it to the chef, I took it upstairs & it was drowned in sauce... My partner was not happy 🙈 I enjoyed both burgers 😋🤣

Curious to see what you’d think of the vegetarian burger at Au Chalet de la Marionnette my partner tried it and it was so bad he couldn’t finish it. I thought he was exaggerating so had a bite and agreed it was bad. I think it may have been the sauce they put on it. They need more vegan vegetarian options besides veggie burgers and salads in the park. Especially at the buffets.

The last time I went to Restaurant en Coulisse they had run out of what I wanted to eat so maybe I dodged a bullet! It is so nice that Avengers Campus has brought more dining options to Walt Disney Studios Park! The veggie burger is vegan which is fab! It is cooked on a shared fryer so if that is a concern for people it is good to be aware of that.

We were there last Friday. My husband wanted the black widow burger, but they are no longer available, they just forgot to change the menu… so he ate the Halloween burger (I forgot the name) and it was really good. My 3 year old had the kids menu and I didn’t eat there, because I didn’t feel so well because of my pregnancy. The quick service restaurants or just snacks still are more convenient, than always eating in one of the restaurants, because it doesn’t took so long and it’s cheaper 😅 and with small kids it’s easier than sitting longer in a restaurant :) We were there for four days and it was (like always) too short 😭 next time we want to go for 5 or 6 days … but I want to wait till my second child is at least 1,5 years old 😅 I wish we would live more close so we could come more often…

had the Widow burger and it was ok. my son got a Spiderman ice lolly and loved it. so overall, it was alright. service was slow for us though. wish we had gone to Five Guys or one of the food trucks

We were there because all the food trucks were still closed and my son was hungry and a little grumpy … I think you make different choices and prioritize things like where to eat differently with small children, than when visiting there without children 😅

Worst restaurant ? Probably ? I'd say there's nothing amazing about it. Just a classic fast food menu There's only burger restaurants all around inside Walt Disney Studio I don't usually in Disneyland Paris in peek season. I would bring my sandwich. What about the Good stands at Ratatouille Land ? Did you get a try ?

I never tried this place, too busy and we usually go to McDonald's if we want burgers (or Hyperion if we don't want to leave the park) because it's cheaper and often better than the Disney quick service.
