That’s exactly what I was thinking! I don’t even play ANY instrument but he’s so good at explaining that you can understand everything he’s saying even if you don’t even know anything about it! I really enjoy his videos because you learn so many things and that helps me understand so much more about music. Great to see someone that likes them like me without knowing how to play. Good luck to you!
I admit to being tone deaf, have to wait for talking on radio to notice if out of tune, not listening to much radio now but have a 55year love of music. I really enjoy listening to your channel. Many thanks
I don't play guitar and never have. But I found this fascinating! It seems like such a useful tool for a musician and a fun guitar for the hobbyist. You certainly sold me till I realized I don't have the vaguest idea how to play! Thanks for the fun video!
Excellent demo of this Mogabi guitar, Fil! You covered all of it's functionality so well. Great job with this one 🎼🎸🤘💖 You are the best and most complete analyzer on You Tube. ROCK
What a versatile guitar. The different pick-ups sound great. The memory, built-in reverb, built-in speaker, headphone jack, mix mode, and recording abilities give it lots of fun functionality and it looks good, too. Thanks for the tour, Fil.
The Mogabi reminded me very much of the original prototype that Les Paul designed. It too had removable wings because they're really just there for looks.
Have to confess that I was a bit skeptical at the beginning of this video, but you did a great job demonstrating how this guitar works as well as its unusual and very useful capabilities. Nicely done presentation, Fil! Great playing there too!
Thanks for sharing that informative review. I'd like to see you do more reviews of musical gear & accessories (both good & bad). The title of this episode implies that you are reluctant to do so. However, I think similar reviews could help inspire budding musicians to seek the life enriching reward of musical creation that you have clearly found.
I have a question It doesn't pertain to this video I was watching your video Boston And I was wondering contemporary bands Or modern bands that can hold a candle to Boston Excluding wings of pegasus of course
There's 32gb of space, so they say roughly 1300 songs. But of course you can transfer them all to a computer and then start again. For this video I recorded for maybe 20 or 30 mins in one go, so I don't think there's a time limit.
@@Ed31003 If you click on the link to the Mogabi kickstarter in the description at the top they detail all the different package options and prices, as well as shipping costs to different countries.
Because of copyright Fil doesn’t receive any compensation for the vast majority of his reviews and pitch correction videos, this will help pay his bills. We do at least get to hear Fil’s guitar playing here.
Hi Fil, You did an awesome job demonstrating the Electric Mogabi Guitar. It is so multifunctional with so many great features. And it has a very clear clean sound. You explained everything so well and helpful you were able to demonstrate it’s playability! Nice job, you are a great teacher! Debbie☮️
The ability to create an "on the spot" rhythm and to solo over the top is damned cool. I figure you can probably record THAT as well, so can multi-track a nice demo 👍 EDIT: Cool, seems you can layer as I was thinking. Got headphone jack, as well so this is a great idea PS> That multi-track sounded a LOT like very early Thin Lizzy with Eric Bell on guitar
Fil, not a musician, by any stretch of the imagination!, but I enjoyed your tutorial on the Mugabi electric guitar. Great teaching info for those who are musicians. Great shirt 😊. Rock
I am impressed. What an amazing piece of musical equipment. Variable, total functionality. Makes me want to learn guitar. Thank you so much for the demonstration and your great guitar playing. Much respect to you.
Man I love your channel… I’ve got a good one for you…Tom Jones 1970 performing Ben E Kings “I Who Have Nothing” on “this is Tom jones”….dude absolutely kills it…
I have been looking forward to this one! So cool, love all the thought they put into the different features. Is it about the same size as the other Mogabi? I'm wondering if it may be a bit wide for smaller people with the attachments. Good choice picking the black one, I looked at their kickstarter page and I am not feeling that cream colored one. Really thorough job with the review and explanation of features, how to use them, and when you might use them, thanks!
Credible endorsement of this electric version of the portable Mogabi. Supported by the demo of functions, with the quality of tone both live and Mogabi recorded.
That’s an interesting instrument Fil! It seems like a very useful tool for working musicians, or a beginner playing in their bedroom! Thanks for sharing! Pretty cool!
Fil, thank you for bringing this video to us! The Mogabi Electric guitar sounds great, and it has everything a guitarist could ask for! The sound is amazing! You have certainly done an excellent presentation of all Mogabi has offered in this electric version! I am absolutely amazed at the quality of the sound! Love the silent mode😂😅! Thank you for demonstrating your new Mogabi and for educating us as to what it has to offer! I love it !💜
I have to say Fil, you have made something interesting, I probably would not have been interested in. It is still your own music and it is not someone else changing your music to fit what they deems is “better.
Amazing bit of kit! I would never have known about this if you hadn't featured it Fil. This Mogabi sounds and plays excellently. It really does all of the electric guitar functions well. Very good presentation Fil!
Unfortunately I haven’t seen all the videos yet (there’s so many of them!) but in the ones I’ve seen I always wondered about that guitar in the back… I didn’t know if it was a real guitar because it has no body! (I don’t know what it’s called, sorry) And always wondered how could it be played. Thanks for this video, now I know the guitar is real and that it looks so cool, and sounds really good (of course, even better because Fil is playing it). New technology, when it’s done right, can achieve amazing things.
Very interesting video. I have never played a guitar. But I sure people who play. Will. like it.👍I’m going to tell Blaine Barber about this guitar. He was winger.
This reminds me of the Fernades guitars that look like an elephant and had built in speaker. Later models has fx as well. A band member acquired one and we all we all were grabbing it every chance we could. Of course this one collapses and seems to have modern fx added. This thing looks very interesting. Thanks for the demo!
Hi Fil,what a brilliant piece of equipment,I don’t play any instruments but since watching your channel I have come to really appreciate the skill and dedication that goes into it.cheers.Roly🇬🇧.
Hi Fil. I've a few questions about the electric version. 1)It appears to be a 2 octave neck. Am I correct? 2) How wide is the neck compared to say...a Paul? 3) Can you adjust the amount of dirt? Thanx in advance. U da man.👍
Hi your voice Pitch Fix explanation vids are great. do people make these types of adjustments to instruments also? What is done to make instruments sound even better? Thks.
Hello Phil. I really like your pitch correct videos . I was thinking it would be cool if you ran some recordings of nature through the pitch correct software and do an analysis on it.
Les Paul built that guitar ages ago. "Les Paulverizor". Along with multi track recording so the whole band didn't need to be in the studio at once and a rarely used guitar by Gibson, the Les Paul.
