@@CommonwealthPicker Thanks for the reply . I would pay the $25.00 plus shipping if you want to sell to me again . Yes I bought the creepy clown from you
Love all your uploads, even the older ones. Like Dave too, but for some reason I can't seem to watch them to the end. I used to sell records, and I made a one-time purchase of inner paper sleeves for records without them, and also clear plastic outer liners to protect the cardboard. It was worth it, and they are fairly cheap I used them even on the cheap ones - looks professional.
I know one thing that's some badass albums and I had 90% of them I was a teenager in the seventies so they were regulars to us I carried around milk jugs of a millions and millions of albums that were probably worse I can't even imagine until I moved from Texas and I just was so tired of carrying them around I think I throw them away but you can't keep everything and I'm the kind of person that just keeps everything good job Kevin good job
Hey, now! Don't be trying to kick Freddy Fender out of the "cool record club". He belongs in there! C'mon, Kevin! "Wasted days and wasted nights"!? and "Before the next teardrop falls"!? He has absolutely earned the right to be included with those other classic rock Gods. ❤
My mom and I used to sing wasted days and wasted nights together when I was little. We did it in a silly way. My mom never sang but we had fun with that song. Thank you for reminding me of that. She's been gone 2.5 years. That made me smile.
There is a book called the rare record price guide,it tells you the year the record came out,the title of the record and it give your every price of every 45s and 78s and LPS
I sell all sorts of old media, but albums are my favorite. You made a major score with those vinyls. I was drooling as you flipped through them. You will do very well on those (as long as you sell them and not keep them all -- ha ha). I saw a lot of questions and concerns about shipping. If your viewers get the actual album shipping boxes and stack the items (never ship the vinyl inside the sleeve!) in-between bubble wrap and 12x12 cardboard, they will not have any issues. 🙂 Keep up the great work. I love your picking videos!
Let me school you a bit picker (nicely) Freddy Fender helped pave the way for cross over music and my Aunt Lily and I enjoyed his songs very, very much. I would buy that album in memory of her. also, a big John Denver fan. I was in high school in the 70's when these guys were at their peak. Oh what memories! Adore your videos and wish you well in all you do. Take care CWP!!
Your family is so awesome. Everything you do for charity makes me happy! I am poor, but I know there are people who need so much. I like to think I do for others, too. If I have $10 and see someone who needs a little, I will give them $5. It has never hurt me, but being that I feel so good about it, well it means it's selfish! Lol. But that's a selfish i can live with.
You can do the research, but there are often several pressings of individual albums. The value often depends on not only condition buy the pressing also. A short run first press would be more desirable than a huge second press of an album that got popular after release. Example is the metallica master album had several pressings. Have fun with it and it's pricless!👊
I noticed the Sven reindeer was not complete, as I made this same mistake.. he is supposed to have a carrot that he reacts to to make him snort, growl, ect. But still cute.. I got mine free on FB marketplace but I’m not going to sell him as I also have the Frozen ride on sleigh that I use for decor at Christmas. Oh hey, awesome job on those records!!WHAT A SCORE!!😁
Nice vinyls. I'm not whe proud owner of about 500 45rpm records. I was joking about throwing in the tote of vinyl....and he did. Nothing like creating more work for myself. Most are people I've never heard of and no sleeves, but I do have 66 hotwheels monster trucks and 300 other cars to price. Wish me luck y'all
I love how they do out of doors, out of car? I don’t know what you call it. They don’t do that down here in Texas. At least not that I’ve seen. Someone correct me Is I’m wrong. Our flea markets are similar but it’s too much ‘new cheap stuff’ to make it worth my time. I should probably give them another go and look for a hidden gem. We are in garage sale season already since it’s already hot (well 81 today). I am envious. Maybe I should read through the comments but if anyone is from south Texas and knows about something like this that isn’t trader’s village -lease let me know! ETA: really jealous of the Grateful Dead! Sad to hear it’s already sold.
WOW! My husband has been re-collecting his album collection for the past year ( if we would have known). To find that many in one shot is amazing. Condition is important, but so are the sleeves and inserts. Check to see if the high end ones had any extras.
The PEONY Corning Ware casserole is a winner, too. Next time you see Tim, check it out to see if it’s in excellent used condition. They are hard to find. Also a caution for resellers buying any Pyrex, Corning Ware or Vision Ware, hold the Items up to strong light to check for evidence indicating the amount of usage. If it looks used & abused, it will be hard to sell on eBay. My advice, only buy Excellent Used Condition (few, if any utensil marks or scratches) & Very Good Condition ( showing some light usage, but not many utensil marks or scratches). Hufn2 Walker Mountain Classic Kitchenware, Southern Oregon
I shipped a customer five of those CorningWare vision Amber pots one time and FedEx I guess used my package as a football because three of them were broke when they arrived. And I thought I packed them pretty good.
@@ChadShort We put a padded fake bottom in the box with a layer of cardboard over it & well padded sides using layers of packing peanuts & newspaper. Sometimes we have used double box method with fake bottom in the larger box & well padded sides. So far we have had little damage. Always write FRAGILE in large bold letters. Good luck. Hufn2
@@nicolehuffman2995 I learned my lesson- I will always box each piece individually inside a bigger box which is what I do now and I haven't had anything break since then. But just wrapping each individual piece with at least 3-4 inches of bubble wrap and putting them in the same box doesn't work from my experience.
That Stevie Ray Vaugh LP is woth some money. I sold two a while back from my personal collection and beleive I got $30-$50 each though one was new and the other played only once.
How do you know if the record inside is the right one when the box is opened and you are trying to sell them? I don't know anything about records so it made me wonder since they all seemed like blank black disks.
Nice LP's! I have about 10 framed up from my high school days! Check the date on the CCR album, it's probably a re-issue. The original had the silhouettes folding out like individual pages, my mom had that one :)
I bet by now we have sold over 100 Vision pans in all shapes and sizes over the years, sure winners. The best we ever sold was a box of new old stock (unused) with all the leaflets etc, bought for $10 and sold for $125. We avoid the cranberry colour though.
Considering how the shipper services (USPS for sure) handle packages, have you had any problems with records getting broken? I'm reluctant to sell records for that reason.
Hey buddy. Good video I think you could make a bunch of $$$ if you frame the albums that have good decorative pics and sell it as art albums. You could probably pick up a extra 10 to 15 over frame cost. Just a idea!
You need to get some plastic outer sleeves Kevin. Also don’t lie them flat on top of each other. That causes ring wear. Keep em vertical at all times. Ship them in plastic outer sleeves with the vinyl outside the album cover. EBay brand record mailers are really strong.
@@jonnydcash9765 yeah, I was admonished by a couple of customers for not doing that. Apparently the album inside the cover can contribute to ring wear; and it can also lessen the risk of seam splits. So you simply slip both the cover and the album in its inner sleeve separately into a clear plastic outer cover. I have also received many albums In the mail that have the cover and album separated. It is standard practice in the vinyl collectors community so I have been doing it that way.
Looks like a great deal! It scared me to begin with. I didn’t realize they can go for so much. Will be watching to see the sales. I would love to learn about the albums, but a bit concerned about shipping. Do you use special album shippers to stay safe in transit?
@@CommonwealthPicker , I am sure I have seen the videos before as I watch you so often.. but would need to review before I took that on and felt good about it. Thanks for your info ALWAYS
Yes condition but if original can command more than some of the metal ones, I'd luv to have a og master of puppets but have a modern copy which was $36 in record store.
Kevin! You are holding out on me! Lol I'd love to buy that Blizzard of oz and the Iron Maiden number of the beast. Did you sell those already? And I'm sure that Metallica will go over $100. Great great find
Hi my name is Rikk Russell and I just started selling on eBay and I sold a couple of items and I sent the invoices but nothing has come through so do you have any advice on what going on thank you for your time
@@CommonwealthPicker I think I did but I'll check again and you need any advice on anything antique just let me know I have been around antiques since I was 10 and now 52 lolol just ask and again thank you for your time
You do not need to send invoices. Buyers have 4 days to pay. That's if it was listed on Auction. Buy it Now listings you can require immediate payment if you desire.
Sometimes it takes a day or two on best offer or an auction. They usually pay every time. I only send an invoice if they haven’t paid within a day saying I would like to ship it today but cant due to payment. Works well! Good luck
I have almost all of those and tons more, in my own purchases back in the olden days, Must be my retirement fund! You must have scored a "boomers" collection.😁🤣
@@CommonwealthPicker seeing that album reminded me of 'laying against my father's upright stereo system with the purple felt across the front speakers, upon a giant zebra print pillow, listening to the Eagles, Led Zeppelin & Boston while watching my mom's beautiful rain lamp' 🥰💗 now those were good times. I'm now 53 & they both passed this last year, thanks for the memories😊 as pops would say "you're alright" 🤝
I just talked to the guy who owns a record store and he's buying a 40 thousand record collection and a guy asked when is enough enough? And he said I'll keep buying because soon the good stuff will dry up!
@UC9SZNgjko53jND1KIfEWVUw thanks but we are not here for sexy fun times with women, rather we are here to buy and sell at a profit not waste our money. Not to trigger anyone spending their money how they want on noood sites.
@@CommonwealthPicker thanks will look it up. Me and my son just started at channel also. Will be doing yards sales also in our videos. Right now we are doing Pokémon openings and food testing. Would love for you to subscribe to our channel. Musgrave Family Channel. Keep up the great work. You have taught me and my son a lot about selling on eBay.
If using the global shipping program can I use USPS Priority boxes or do I need to use plain boxes? Also if shipping clothing can I ship in poly mailers? Thanks so much in advance!
I donated a bunch of records to my church garage sale. I called to to tell them not to sell for 25 cents. All records gone they sold for 25.00 it had Whitney Houston 1st album also. Mt heart sank. They said someone came and took them all
Hey Kevin. Just wanted to chime in on the Igloo Cooler, I still have a smaller one(Tag-a-long 10) I bought in 79 or 80 and still have the shoulder strap! I remember the I also carried a Playmate lunchmate to work which were all the rage at the time, but bought the bigger one for the lake or pic-nics and such. Look forward to the 2022 garage sale season. Great video as always.
We use that Lite flite machine all the time. I have been coaching High school softball and travel ball for 20 years. I know that machine is a big reason that my team is patient and disciplined at the plate. You probably already know about the benefits of that machine since you have coached.I don,t recommend anything but the Lite flite balls to be used with it. Great video THANKS
