These are some of the most watchable vids for LV! For the cred: I only ate... = misplaced modifier I ate only... = better Other activities were also performed during the 24hrs such as breathing, talking, walking, etc.
Norma you cracked me up on this vido. At the garden buffet you were eating bacon and fatty pieces of prime rib at the same time. I thought mabey you had a gummy before going tnere! Loved it!
Oh if they still had the buffet of buffets it would be 300 a person. The cheap buffet is dead. When I was a kid in Vegas 30 dollars was enough for a family of 4 to eat. Now it's barely enough for one person.
Norma you are so precious and adorable! Holding an ice cream cone in one hand while shoveling bread pudding in the other...does that say buffet day or what!? Love your channel 😁💗
@@Johndoe-qn9jr I follow Norma because I love her sense of humor and fun personality! The 24 hour videos she does with Lydia are very entertaining. I’ve never been to Vegas so she opened a whole new world to me🤍
Last cheap buffet was imperial palace and terrible heist buffet off flamingo. The buffet I've eaten at Main street station Downtown , gloden nugget , El Cortez , Rivera , mirage , Harris, Sahara , palms, Orleans , Rio, buffet in sumerline, Red rock , Silverton, gold coast, Green valley ranch, When I would go to eat lunch or dinner I would never spend more than 20/25 dollars because it would be a waste of food and money.
Currently, there are 18 open buffets in Las Vegas, 8 on the Las Vegas Strip, and 10 off strip. Here is the list: Buffets on the Las Vegas Strip: 1. Bacchanal Buffet 2. Wynn Buffet 3. Bellagio Buffet 4. Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan 5. MGM Grand Buffet 6. Circus Circus Buffet 7. Buffet at Luxor 8. Excalibur Buffet Off Strip & Downtown Vegas Buffets: 1. AYCE Buffet at Palms 2. Garden Buffet at South Point 3. M Resorts Buffet 4. Fresh Buffet at Westgate 5. Garden Court Buffet at Main Street Station 6. Market Place Buffet at Rampart Casino 7.Makino 8. Imperial buffet 9. Krazy buffet 10. Buffet@Asia
Hmm, I remember the circus circus breakfast buffet in the early 90s for $1.99 was the worst in town. Bums would eat there it was so cheap. Absolute garbage
@@RedRider1600 I only made it about a year also. I moved there when I was 21 and didn't know anyone there. I moved with my cousin but he only lasted 3 weeks before he came back home to Kansas City. I lived in a trailer park in NLV on LV Blvd. in between Nelis and Lamb streets and worked at the 7 Eleven at the corner of the strip and LV Blvd. I have not been back since then. It is amazing how much it has grown since I lived there. I believe that back then the population was about 250K and by the end of the 90's it was over 1 million people. Hell I was there before the Luxor, Bellagio and all those casinos were there. the newest casino the year I lived there was the Excalibur it had opened a year earlier.
Now this was a very interesting video, I'm full just watching you two guys eating. A lot of people put down Circus 🤹♂️ Circus 🤹♂️ but I like it. I stayed there three times in the last year. FYI if you go into Circus Circus from the front entrance and walk towards the steak house restaurant, just past the restaurant there's a store called Magna. If you walk in turn to your left and then go straight you'll come to the wall of Fungo Pop Ups where on the lower level there's a huge (about two feet tall) PENNYWISE. ALL THE BEST ROCKER ROB.
Wow, tackling three buffets in 24hrs must've been so full filling. I do love a good buffet and you did an amazing job showing us a couple really good and affordable ones. Awesome job! Thanks Norma!! 🌠
This video put me in a food coma and I haven't even eat LOL. Thanks Norma for the video. all looks so yummy. time for the those Thanksgiving stretching pants and a nap now lol. Also just an idea but i remember you mentioned you have a ton of LMNT, you should do an IG or YT giveaway for your members 😁
Can't believe you had 3 buffets in 24 hrs. I can only handle one a day max.😂 Prefer honey mustard or BBQ sauce on my chicken tenders. Jay is not weird. He just marches to a different drummer. Each buffet has something to offer. Love that Southpoint has menudo and didn't know about Rampart's buffet. May check it out next time. Circus Circus surprised me. Looks better than I thought. Thanks Norma and Jaycation.
Hey Norma! Any inside information available on when the Tropicana may be imploded? I figure you may know folks that might have the info. I really want to be there, so any intel would be appreciated. Thanks, love the channel
The circus circus buffet is usually food that cater to kids. You won't see much that worth the value. I did enjoyed the Breakfast garden buffet at South Point. Its more expensive on the weekend but getting the prime rib was worth the value. Ill go on weekday since its only $15. There another cheap buffet is in Main Street casino at downtown.
Great video! Looks delicious buffets. Just be careful with the fork and knife when you're not using them. I was nervous watching. Don't poke your friend 😂
Southpoint looks great, I'll stick with b1g1 myvegas rewards for Excalibur. Only thing not mentioned is when something is going on in town they charge extra, this happened for NFR last year.
Norma, have you ever tried the buffet at the Red Rock? It’s reasonably priced and has good food and a very good selection. They also have menudo. I love their ribs. And their dessert section is very good too. Also, you mentioned that your favorite flavor is banana. Have you ever tried the banana creme pie at Marie Callendars? It’s the best banana creme pie that I’ve ever had! I haven’t been to Vegas since before Covid and I’m having cravings for that pie! 😢
Hey Norma, was wondering if you have ever done or will ever do a "Thanksgiving in Vegas" episode, me and the homie go every year thru thanksgiving thru the weekend < Havent had a turkey dinner on thanksgiving since, was wondering if there were any dope places to get dinner in the holiday
Circus circus buffet is ok for my family and I.visits to las vegas we usually eat there. food ok and at a good budget.we don't have buffets in Canada like in las vegas.
Southpoint and JW Marriot look really good. Wonder what a weekday breakfast at Southpoint is like? I've also heard the cheapest off strip buffet is an Asian called one called Krazy Buffet which in the video saw was 13.99 for lunch (with seafood included).
Blue Cheese dressing is the go to for most people from the east coast. Buffalo wings were invented in NY, and were traditionally served with blue cheese. Somehow ranch became the thing on the west coast. Not sure why.
I’m old - I remember the $1.99 breakfast buffet at the Hacienda Hotel (replaced by the Mandalay Bay Hotel). But then Las Vegas is no longer the home of the cheap buffet.
Thanks for doing this Norma, for all those coming to Vegas on a budget, and want to check out buffets without going broke (before they hit the slot machines). Great to see you team up with the legendary Jaycation again. Next time, do a buffet review with Pennywise--in Vermont!!
My first experience in Las Vegas was the buffet at Circus Circus in 1999. After one bite of their breafast sauaage, I never ran so fast to the bathroom!
I remember when every casino had a buffet. One of our first trips to Vegas we ate at Imperial Palace buffet for $10.99 per person.(I am not as old as you of you old timers) Those were the days. lol
Pretty controversial, but honestly - my top 3 buffets in Vegas (on the strip, at any price!) are: Wynn, Bellagio, Excalibur... Funniest part is that The Wicked Spoon and Bacchanal (probably the top 2-3 for most reviewers) are actually close to being the worst for me.
We saw you guys at Rampart! Surprised by your review though because we had a much different review lol. Everything was cold and/or stale. Especially the crab rangoon. 4/10 stars. Would have been 2 if it weren't for the bottomless mimosas and dessert.
I am in Vegas right now trying to figure out what buffet to eat at later, of course turning to Norma for suggestions, and this was just uploaded 2 hours ago🤣🤣 its fate!!
Barok with Norma 👍 was there last week the whole family was furnace shocked about the weather!😫 ☀️🔥🔥🔥 we now appreciate chicago and michigan weather on summertime😂 we all first ate at Max fried chicken👍
Hey, Norma and jaycation -nice video about going 24 hours to eat every buffet-loved the blooper reel -do you have to say every line down pat before you finally get it? Hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Circus Circus buffet in 1991: $2.99 breakfast, $5.99 dinner. Breakfast was decent if basic, dinner was not worth it. Never went back. Excalibur and Luxor were better and just slightly more expensive. I think dinner was $9.99.
My take is that the food doesn't look as terrible at Circus Circus as some people make it out to be but that it is no way shape or form worth what they are charging for it. That's a $15 per person buffet MAX! Southpoint is well worth the money IF you can get to it IMO. I've seen it numerous times and it always looks like quality food at a reasonable price. I've never seen the last one before but it looked like a quality buffet at a reasonable price. It seems like most of the value in Vegas these days is off the Strip or even away from downtown which means that either: A. you are going to have to have a car to get to the good stuff B. you are going to pay for a shit ton of Uber rides. or C. you are going to have to learn to navigate the local bus system. None of those three options seems very appealing to somebody flying in from points east, especially if they are on a budget.
Was wondering if we should need to have jackets when going in mid November? We are going for the first time and just curious if we should just take sweaters or would we need jackets?
It would've been cool to see you guys tackle the old Caesars Buffet of Buffets 24 hour pass before they terminated it. I wonder which casino buffets would you have gone other than Bacchanal.
Circus Circus may be a dump nowadays but it holds a special place in my heart. I always try to go get a breakfast buffet before I leave Vegas just to re-live my childhood. Unfortunately, the buffet was close on a Monday. Oh well, next time.
