I'm Salvadoran 🇸🇻 and pupusas are literally my favorite food in the whole world. I love the cheese ones the most. I eat them every once in awhile but when I do oh my god it's like I'm in heaven. I'm glad you liked them Brennen. Also the one you ate was pupusas with cheese and loroco and jake had the chicharoone or beans ones pupusa. Also known as beef.

Brennen that sauce for the pupusas is supposed to be watery not thick!! The way your supposed to eat the pupusas is the pupusas then the curtido (the cabbage merinated in vinegar) on top of the pupusas and then the sauce on top of that. Everything Together tastes how it’s supposed to be and way better in my opinion! Y’all should try it 👍🏼🤤

Salvadoran Papusas with a big bite of Curtido is the best. The curtido is a slaw that goes perfectly with it. You have to try the curtido!

For better taste add the sauce to the both pupusas it will taste 💯 better. (I doubt they added the sauce from the canned tomatoes, they usually do heat up tomato and then add it to the blender along with ingredients and a bit of water and then add it to strainer sometimes to the pot and heat it up)
