Fun fact- apple fritters are just the leftover/excess dough from donuts. When making donuts, the dough gets ran through a cutter and the excess dough from the edges is tossed into a bucket. Once all the donuts are made, diced apple pie filling and cinnamon gets mixed into the excess dough and then deep fried and glazed. That is why the bottom of the fritter looks a bit like monkey bread. No dough is wasted!

The hot food at Walmart is actually pretty good. I always get the regular fried wings with Mac N cheese and potato salad. Deliciousness

I worked produce at a Walmart but sometimes had to cover the hot food section. I can confirm that if you're there around 8pm (when it has to be taken out for cleaning/compost) we would stuff the container with anything the customer wanted to the point of not even being closable for the same price. Win/Win.

The reason why they say it's not really 24 hours, is because technically you're only filming in a 12 hour time period. Between 9am and 9pm. So for it to be a full 24 hour challenge, if you started at 9am on a Tuesday, you should finish at 9am on a Wednesday. That would complete the full 24 hours

Hi Timmy. I have grabbed one of their breakfast sandwiches in the deli. They go quickly. Nice and warm the bacon or ham ones are good.

I buy the rotisserie chicken and use it to make different meals.(fajitas, chicken enchiladas, etc)

When I pushed carte at Walmart at 19 I often got lunch from the hot foods, which I never tried b4. Probably my favorite thing was the deep fried bean burrito lol Oh also they discount the food in huge containers. I could get a massive container of general tso chicken. For like 1.50

I am actually a manager at my local Walmart in St. Albans, Vermont (almost Canada lol). We don't have a Fresh department booooooooooo. I used to run a deli. Next year we're set to do a total re-do of the store and I hope we get a Fresh Dept I can manage instead of the apparel department (I'm not even into clothes lol, I miss being surrounded by food all day). Anyway, Walmart Fresh Dept slaps, esp for the price and the sheer variety, and I can't until we have one!

I work at Walmart and I often get food from the deli for my lunches. I agree their Popcorn chicken is not great. But their chicken sliders are pretty good! Their fried chicken in general is pretty salty so I typically avoid it. But their tenders are good. And i LOVE their mashed potatoes and mac and cheese! My go to meal is getting side orders of their mac and cheese, mashed potatoes because each side order is $.97 now and grabbing either a hot dog or the chicken sandwich/sliders 😋

The cheesecake Mousse from Walmart is my favorite I have not tried any others but omg that’s the one to get I saw a RU-vidr name sauce queen eat one a couple of years ago and I been hooked on that one

Worked in the Bakery/Deli. Food was always slamming at lunch/dinner time (because for me, my lunch break was at 7pm 😂) . General Tso chicken was a guilty pleasure for me. It’s best when it’s fresh out the fryer. Even better is some places I’ve had the General Tso sauce on the wings. 🌚

Their wings, mashed potatoes with gravy and potato wedges are really good and for the price you can't beat that! I always get their premade salads too!

Walmart has some decent fresh food for low prices these days. And overall the store has some of the lowest prices outside of Aldi. We're doing more shopping there now. We like their hoagies, and then a couple of things you have to heat like their cheeseburgers and calzones. The mousse desserts though are bad. I yelled "Don't eat it!" but you couldn't hear back in time🤣

You should try all the wraps at Walmart to see which one you like better cause they are so good can you please try them for one of your videos it would make my day so much better? Love the videos been watching you for years now love it!!!!!!

I loved this video! Walmart is where a lot of us shop! Also I adore the chocolate pastries, and they used to have boneless orange chicken, and when they were fresh they were delicious! They had to discontinue them… 😢 sometimes they have jalapeño poppers, they must’ve changed the brand because they changed a couple months ago, they aren’t bad now but they were out of this world previously!

I’ve always been obsessed with Walmarts potato wedges but I can’t always find them!

I love the potato wedges from Walmart and the mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks are pretty big and a great price. I usually love the popcorn chicken so I think you may have gotten them cooked in old oil. Also a hidden gem imo are the little cannolis and eclairs. I love them!

For a quick grab and go option the Walmart hot food comes through in a clutch and heads up they usually will let you taste test items you want to try most of the time.
