No it doesn't, high defense bonus, tanking, brews have always been overpowered af in runescape, I prefer this new wilderness where nobody is invincibile because they can hide behind massive amounts of gp to get godly gear. The voidwaker makes pvp more equal. I would take voidwaker being king of pvp anyday over Ely/Divine being king of pvp. We need MORE overpowered spec weapons to even the playing field even more imo.

It’ll just remold itself, it won’t be better. Jagex makes too much money off bots, and it makes resources on the GE cheaper which is shit for skillers, but lovely for those who work PVP/PVM. TLDR: Bots are a living part of the OSRS ecosystem. Removing them might actually kill the game (and Im a skiller, I want them gone too, just realistically it won’t happen)

Basic economics will take over, and if there are serious gaps (let's say coal stays at 3k each or something crazy) then jagex will make a better way to get coal such that players do it more and it drops price. Look at blood runes, all iron man runes, they have talked about this for gold ore etc
