This was beautifully written and narrated. The description of the wind chimes sounding "like toddlers attempting percussion" was just one of many memorable lines. Great work!

I have 4 and they all can! I get up into my attic all the time since I have a half finished cigar lounge/bar up there and they follow me any time they hear the ladder being lowered .....
This one really creeped me out. Reminded me of my backyard growing up. I'd always avoid looking back there at night, because for some reason, I always felt I'd catch something watching me

You are in my top 3 favorite narrators. Yes I love your voice and your frequency. Most of all I love your lack of mispronunciation! I've tried to listen to others here or there..... but the amount of mispronounced words is such a distraction. Thank you for giving us all great quality work every time. 🖤
The chimes are supposed to keep away evil spirits & such like but if it only watches you maybe that’s why it’s not deterred…. It sounds feasible anyway- at least as feasible as evil things being kept away by wind chimes🤷♀️ I think my dog would be more effective!♥️✌️

it's around 7 am as i'm watching this, and believe it or not i look outside and it's raining. I didn't even notice it before but i heard the drops hit the metal of my shed outside, lol.
Gonna be honest sometimes its simply narrator's voice that can make or break my enjoyment of them. I like darkness prevails but his voice just doesn't fit for me and it sucks cause otherwise i enjoy his content but always feel bad that i click away. I used to love mortis media but now only use his as something low in background for sleep. I dont use brett (CGS) for sleep. This comment is for no one really im just journaling to the winds of RU-vid. Two comments im sure helps the algorithm over one haha

There are many channels i used to love to listen to, but once you explore into other channels & readers, you find some rare gems With CGS, Brett, you can close your eyes, lightly & stretch out your legs in front of a nicely established fire, & listen to his voice narrating a whole catalogue of tales & think hes just next to you, in his own well worn chair, staring at the flames telling you in his inimitable easy Way, some chilling tale, Unwinding with creeping menace & yet, despite the screeching winds hugging the outside wall You're well satisfied! Its how i feel when Brett starts his spinning wheel of sinister events but feel safe & eager to hear & let his words conjure up & spool the virtual images into my mind. Nothing quite like it! Nor do other narrators seem to Come up to his quality... 💎 Peace & Be of Good Cheer 🇬🇧👧

As always, the narration was a 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, the story appears to have been written by a college freshman who just completed a creative writing elective in the Fall Semester and got a hard-bound thesaurus for Christmas.

This is the second channel I've finished and im having a hard time looking for a narrator that suits my taste. 😂 . If you haven't yet, i recomment "the lighthouse" channel.
