never played this sport before, but would the exercise One Arm Cross Body Lateral pull help increase your power? i'm talking about something like this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jmKGBRGPpPI.html where you pull a cable across your body with the cable located at the middle, not at the bottom or top of the machine.
Throwing into a net helps so much, at least if you've got some clue what you're doing. I'm impatient tho, so several throwing sessions into nets have been for nothing when I immediately think I've fixed my form.
That was the exact point of this video because I did the exact same thing! I would say you don’t need 7 days straight but a couple days can make a huge difference!
I watch anyone and everyone to give me tips on how to on my back hand but there is one small problem im a South paw a left hand dominate and most of you are right handed

Yeah shoulders play a huge part of it! You’re mainly twisting your shoulder as opposed to pulling your arm through. Gannon buhr posted a video on RU-vid about how to throw farther and he explains the shoulders really well. You should check it out!
Yeah there’s a crazy amount of different discs and they all fly completely different. It’s such a fun cheap hobbie to get into. You should give it a try!
