I Only Used Tatcha Skincare for 2 Months

I decided to ditch my entire skincare routine and use Tatcha products exclusively (the only exception being face masks, I still use face masks from other brands while testing out these products) for over 2 months so I could bring you an in-depth full brand review! I wanted to let you know if these luxury products were truly worth it, how they worked for my skin and who I would recommend them to! Please share your experiences with Tatcha down below because I always want to hear from you guys.

My skin is currently oily-combination and my skin and eyes are both extremely sensitive. My number one concerns that I try to target in my routine are dullness & hyper pigmentation left over from my severe cystic acne, and the occasional hormonal breakout. I did take Accutane in 2016 so my skin type has fluctuated a lot, so if you watch past videos of my mine and I describe my skin type differently, that’s why!

I only used TATCHA for 2 months starting June of 2018 and I haven't looked back. Since then, I use the entire ritual, including the eye and face masks. My skin looks amazing. All their products perform exactly as described and worth every penny if you can afford it.

@@Aleksandratube I used to be combination. Now I'm normal after using Tatcha. I also have sensitive skin. I tried Tatcha because everything was irritating my skin and their products balanced my skin and strengthened my skin barrier.

@@liamstz1284 I like it. It's great if you prefer a lightweight moisturizer. My go to is the Indigo Soothing Cream because I have sensitive skin. I use The Water Cream mainly in the summer under makeup or when I workout because it is lightweight. If you like something a little heavier, the Silk Cream is also really good. During the warmer months, I switch between the Water Cream and Silk Cream. Lol I'm a Tatcha junkie, I have all the moisturizers. I use the Ageless Enriching Renewal Cream as my neck cream.

As a skincare expert... I have used the entire Tatcha line & also the entire Drunk Elephant line... here's my final thoughts.... They both are great brands with great products. obviously not everyone can afford them, but if you can, i believe its worth investing in your skin. You DONT need to buy the entire line of either brand to see great results. In my opinion, just having 2-3 products from either brand can drastically improve your skin. here is what i would recommend from each brand... Drunk Elephant: C Firma Day Serum, TLC Sukari Babyfacial, C-Tango multivitamin eye cream.! (You DONT need both the TLC sukari babyfacial & the glycolic night serum..especially if you are someone on a budget..they both contain AHA/BHA as the main active ingredient. So no need for both, especially if price is an issue. Tatcha: Water Cream, Luminous deep hydration firming eye serum, Violet-C radiance mask. (also, the dewy skin mist is a great product as well) I hope this helps for anyone looking into either brand. I prefer Drunk Elephant overall just slightly more. but i do still use some Tatcha products, like the violet-c radiance mask.

What would you recommend to someone who can't use Drunk Elephant? I had an allergic reaction to DE, Ole Henriksen, Sisley and a few others. I do use Clinique, Skinfix and some Lancome products work for me too.

Great video!! Tatcha is my all time favorite skincare! I have extremely dry skin & now I guess it is considered mature! My biggest tip with Tatcha is buy the deluxe sample/travel size to try a new product. Then when you decide which ones you love (for me that many) get then when they have their friends & family sale at 30% off!! During that sale I buy my products and back ups! Tatcha is the one line that I cannot live without! I do find that the creams and moisturizers last a very long time! As you said a little goes a long way.

I just tried tatcha skin cream, I'm not even a week in and I saw my skin TRANSFORM in 2 days. Not only did it clear up but I just look younger. I'm 25 btw , large pores, combo skin. Dark circles (slightly) fine lines, acne prone, sensitive skin, drink too much coffee not enough water lol. TRY THIS!! I've tried drunk elephant, drug store creams, coconut oil, IT skin cream and many more. Nothing has wowed me like this product or I wouldn't be wasting my time commenting!! HOLY GRAIL for me

Fresh is on my list, though I might do a regular brand overview and not specifically use them for 2 months just because I already have so much experience with Fresh & I’ve tried the majority of the products they make! Every single fresh face product fail me. Especially the black tea kimbicha eye cream, my eye area literally peeled and dried even more, and the rose toner sting my eyes like I'm going blind. Their mask I feel like they are either useless or doing the opposite things.

Yeah the full size products are always a way better value than the travel sizes, that’s how they get you haha I agree the travel sizes are pricey but that’s why! The value sets with trial sizes are definitely the best deal if you just want an assortment. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you 😉💰💰

The price shouldn’t hold you back if it guarantees you the skin of your dreams. Tatcha changed my life and the only reason I used to have bad skin was bc I purchased low quality skincare. It’s worth the investment and every ounce.

I love Tatcha so much and have been using them for years. If it’s a stretch for your budget as they are a luxury brand, QVC offers most of their line and you can use their Easy Pay system (not a credit line) in order to break up the cost into multiple payments and you end up paying for the product while you’re using the product. They also often have QVC-exclusive sets that are great deals and occasionally have bogo’s (like the Camellia Oil when it first launched). And of course QVC has a great return policy for their beauty products, especially during the holiday season. Happy makeup shopping! Edit: I’m pairing some additional Sunday Riley Products (things Tatcha doesn’t get offer) with my Tatcha routine and all is going very well. I’ve used Sunday Riley’s Juno face oil (I’m obsessed with the earthy smell even though I’m sensitive to scents) for a while and love that too. I also recently started testing out Lancer’s Caviar Acid Lime Peel. I’m knew to that type of mask or peel, but I did notice an incredible softness after using it. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not, but I guess I’ll find out. 😁

I am such a big tatcha fan, but I try to moderate my purchases they can be pricey! My absolute favourites are: the indigo body cream (i've used something like 15 tubs!), the sunscreen (I always repurchase), the camellia cleansing oil (another favorite), and the essence (very very good - it makes my skin so soft). I am less a fan of the enzyme washes and have yet to find my favorite tatcha moisturizer, but yes, am definitely a big lover of tatcha products!!! thanks for your great review!

The ordinary 30% aha 2% bha is AMAZING and it's literally $7. Its one of the strongest I've been able to find but doesn't sting but for a couple seconds

I been using shiseido pureness line for almost 10 years and it works great for my skin. I have oily, sensitive, blemish prone skin and I’m allergic to sacylic or any acne med ingredients (it seems to make my skin break out even more). I was wondering if you had any experience with shiseido products and how would it be comparable to Tatcha. I’m really interested in trying out Tatcha. I had used Clinique, and broke out badly because most of their products have sacylic acid. I just stop using Dermalogica because I also broke out from it. I felt derm regiment was complicated and while some products were ok for my skin, there were others that didn’t work well, so I stop using it as a whole. Now I’m back to shiseido and I’m not sure their new line (they discontinued pureness line) would be similar to what I was using before. What are your thoughts?

shiseido benefiance is great for me. I used tatcha once but nothing different to my skin so I never went back

I have used only shiseido skin care and make up for years and was very happy with it. I am Asian and it really worked for me. I have decided to try tatcha very recently and this is way better than shiseido! The dewy cream is excellent!

I live on Tatcha travel sets. It’s the only skincare that made me say “Wow” after I used the Cleansing Oil, Enzyme Powder, Essence, and Dewy Purple rice cream!

Your skin is radiant with and without makeup, so pretty. Thanks for your work trying these out! Before this I just watched your Drunk Elephant video and was going to buy their travel 'Littles' to give it a regular go. I was thinking of getting the ageless eye cream for my mom. I know she has been having trouble with undereye darkness she has tried other creams. I have seen positive reviews on the website I will have to buy it to give to my mom. Thank you for the wonderful reviews of tatcha. I have the same skin type as you .I purchased the Camilla cleansing oil travel size and the dewy skin cream travel size as well. It's been 3 days, and my skin is so smooth. Thank you again.

60darklord I actually prefer the Silk Cream over the water cream & I’m oily skin type. Tatcha had a limited edition set w/ the full size Essence toner & full size silk cream for $160. The sets are always a better value

Thanks for sharing! I've only used a sample size of the eye cream and loved it. Once done with my current facial wash and moisturizer, I'll use the water cream and cleanser. Now I can't wait. LOL . . . Oh I'm in my late 40s and still get breakouts during my menstrual cycle. I use the Sunday Riley UFO oil during that time and 1 week after. I find my skin heals quicker and looks healthy.

I started using tatcha recently and i love it. Ended up ordering full size items because I think they’re amazing. Pricy but worth it. I have dermatitis on my face and im very sensitive so tatcha has been a lifesaver.

I've been using the water cream for about six months. It transformed the texture of my skin! I've been slowly switching my skincare to Tatcha as I can afford it. I'm currently using the gel cleanser, the water cream, the new eyecream, and the vitamin C mask. I have no regrets. Has anyone tried the primer?

I ordered the tatcha ritual starter kit for sensitive skins , I don’t have acne but my cheeks are always red and brands like neutropenia irritate my skin even more.I used the ritual starter kit for the first time and my skin felt so smooth and bare, like I didn’t have a gross film over my face, AND IT HELPED THE REDNESS! It’s truly a miracle because NOTHING I’ve ever tried in the past helped.
