@@Pedrocito07 Seems inconsequential to me. The name plates stay the same and it's not like new players are only playing aginst base variants. They need to get used to it. If you are watching the video on your phone than you can probably read your phone, if you are watching on your computer than it will just be more interesting with cool variants. Just saying.... other than that he does great content
Tbh you could do an entire vid about just going through your collection and setting a favorite variant for every card, since you do appreciate the art and talk about it more than probably any other creator. Could be multiple videos too actually, since there's a lot of cards and variants nowadays. Either way I think the video would be a banger
Right what's the deal with reserves??? Id say 3/4 are credits, then collector tokens and very very rarely see a variant and it's only ever pixel. 4 minutes into the video and i cant believe his pulls but he acting like it normal
Boy-thing is a clone of the character Man-thing. to make a long story short, blade saved boy-thing from a bad guy. Boy-thing rides on blades shoulder, and forms armor around blade sometimes. The art in the card is the Boy-thing armor, and the sword looks weird because boy-thing made it, or formed around it? I'm not sure exactly.
Regis, you can immediately forfeit a Silver, Gold, or Infinite Conquest run by clicking on the "?" mark icon in the upper right after you've grabbed the intro medals without actually having to start the first match. It makes converting tickets into medals go very fast. Of course, you could also start the first match, concede, and give your opponent an easy victory so they get the extra medals for the win, too.
13:13 don’t know if anyone told you this since but if you click the green CL number on the bottom in the collection track it scrolls up for you so you don’t have to do it yourself
I've been hoarding all my caches ever since they introduced spotlights, in the hopes that they might make regular caches better again in the future. Being pool 3 complete, regular caches really just don't have much value anymore. I'm tempted to give up and just open them sometime though, at this point it doesnt seem likely that a change will come.
I do agree with you about variants and clarity, I noticed that when I watch your deck showcases I can spot the card by its general shape and color scheme. When watching other content creators after giving a card quick glance I don't recognize it until I read the name of the card
Boy Thing is the coolest character! He's a sentient piece of Man-Thing that became besties with Blade :) he becomes plant armor that allows Blade to fight during the daytime ☀️🧛🗡️ imagine a vampire hunter who shoots his own unlimited wooden stakes 🦇☠️
I love marvel snap but hate it that variants have the same summoning card as regural variant..don’t know how to say it different. Like a mister sinister pixel for example should have a pixel duplicant🤷
I'm nowhere near your level and in 30 reserves you opened way more cards then I get with the same amount of openings. Kinda why I don't play Snap as much anymore
As a f2p player, I don't see that many variants that often. I do actually occasionally have to pause a youtube video when a card shows up because I don't recognize the variant and have to figure out what was played. The base cards, however, are just muscle memory in my brain at this point. So I can definitely see where Regis is coming from in terms of clarity. That said, themed decks are a great idea, and I'd love to see Regis occasionally do some.
The ant man variant it’s not the casings in the picture it’s the projectile that is inserted into the case. So if your looking at a round it has a primer in the casing inside the casing is the gunpowder and then you seat the actual projectile or bullet that is propelled from the casing those in the artwork look accurate to most bullets that people use when reloading used brass casings.
I got 3 gold tickets with the steam release and they vanished after the season ended I haerd unused ticked get turned into points/credits but I´m not sure
Yes. Clowns will tell you it hasn't, but to get a full collection it's cheaper than ever and for a semi complete collection it only requires you to optimize Spotlights a bit (have 4 spotlights when opening, open spotlights when you want 2-3 cards) and to buy the Battlepass which is the most bang for your buck. You get newer cards quicker than before. There's less emphasis on tokens so there's no token paralysis on what to buy. There are still crazy whale bundles, but they have no affect on gameplay besides "more resources", so if you are a dolphin or F2P player you really shouldn't care about that stuff. Some people will say you lack agency, but you still have it just in a different form of 4 spotlights to use on a week. Spotlights churn so many cards and variants for you it's absurd. Drops have temporary stopped so Second Dinner can fill up spotlights to an ideal amount. And any qualms for the acquisition system SD has said (and have proven time and time again) that they will try to improve it.
TLDR: It's different arguebly worse Longer answer: What's different? Instead of getting a Tier 4 every 120 levels now you get a random chance to get one out of 4 rewards, these rewards are 3 hand selected cards and one random guaranteed new card What's worse? Rewards from the average chests are worse and there are more rewards that are worse than 50 credits + The new 120 level rewards are skins if you already have the card, it's always a good looking skin, meaning if you have the popular tier 5 cards like Knoll/Galactus/Ultron/etc. the new system is actually worse now unless you are a whale What's better? If you have saved up enough levels and are patient you can get specific rare cards instead of relying on randomization
I would argue it immensly improved. Before the change I had a only a handful of Series 4 Cards and some Seasonpass Series 5 Cards. Since the change I have almost all Series 4 Cards and actually many Series 5 cards aswell as Brand new Cards right at release without changing my money spent. Before the spotlights I could buy 1 new Release in the token Shop once every few months. Now its 1-3 per Month.
