One of the biggest openings I’ve seen on your channel. Really enjoyed all of these eras. I’ve gotta say that the era that started it all was my favorite. As someone who was around when Pokémon cards first came out in the US, this was the most nostalgic for me.

Got to love all the old school stuff. I remember when Pokémon came out. I was only 7 or 8 but man playing all those games collecting I wish I was better at collecting through the entirety of the history of Pokémon.

That Charmander episode was sad AF😢. The poor Charmander, crying out in the rain waiting for an owner that abandoned him. Doing everything he could to not let the fire on his tail go out. I still remember thinking as a kid I would've given a serious beat down to that trainer. It wouldn't have been a pokemon battle

My favorite set was gym heroes, I remember when I was in elementary and my teacher would give gifts for being good in class and I remember collecting so many of those gym hero cards. This is taking me back to when i started collecting when i was like 8 or 9 in 2003 opening occasional booster packs from Gen 2 - Neo destiny to Gen 3 - Ruby and Sapphire, collecting on and off until 2013 - 2016 trying to collect until Pokémon go and Evolutions!🤩😊 and I’m still collecting to this day!… this was a Trip, I’m flashing back to my childhood! Watching this has made me so happy!!!

My favorite year of cards was definitely during X and y. if I was to point to any specific year it would probably be 2015 because it had BREAKthrough. As a kid I thought that break cards were the top half of a square card. I used to beg my mom at target to get a pack of cards. I’m so disappointed in my younger self because I threw all my cards in a bin because I used to just trade and not collect them. If I had saved them All my collection would have been worth thousands if not ten thousand. Sorry for the rant but Pokémon cards are so so so nostalgic for me
