It physically hurts seeing so many cards I knew I had as a kid just lying around, likely long gone or destroyed by now, popping up for 100s of $$. That Pidgeot especially, first card I ever owned. Nice vid, and respect for the commitment to keeping the Original sealed packs.

Watching this took me back to Christmas in third grade when I got my first packs. They were ex frlg, and Crystal guardians. Even the common cards I loved because they were my first. And I still have a good chunk of them. To this day they remain some of my favorite cards in my collection.

My favorite set is a basic one, but its base set. Has to be! I was lucky enough to be able to open them as a kid.

XY flash fire is my personal favorite, only because it’s the first one I ever opened up when my grandpa got it for me. Those are some memories I’ll never forget!☺️

My 10 year old daughter is so into Pokémon now and out of all the RU-vid channels she watches, this is by far my favorite. I’m 43 and never got into Pokémon as a kid but I love playing the game with my daughter and buying my own booster packs. She just turned 10 and got a TON of Pokémon cards. She gets so excited along with you my dude. We just had baby number 3 and I have been spending a lot of time at home and have probably watched more of you than anything else and I’m totally ok with that when I see how happy she is watching your videos. I love any vintage set. But the new 151 has definitely caught my eye. That art work is amazing. The hits seem very good. But really anything Pokémon related is amazing.

Absolutely loved watching this! Took me back to the day when I traded my entire collection of 1st gen to my best friend for a new skateboard deck I probably snapped a week later. I had the Charizard, Alakazam, Blastoise, etc. All shiny. I still remember thinking to myself how I couldn't believe my friend traded me a new skate deck for these cards. I reached out to him a couple years ago and he said he still had the cards and was debating selling them. He did. He bought a new house and I couldn't be happier for him. Obviously I am regretting it now, but at the time, my 14 year old self felt like the winner.

Awesome video. I have very fond memories of the EX era because thats when I started opening these packs. I used to collect when I was a kid but my mom sold all of my cards in a garage sale for $60. In my collection was the first edition base set charizard. Glad I made someone's day though! My favorite set was always EX deoxys though.

Most memorable set for me probably has to be eevee heroes. My favorite sets are the ones I had the most fun opening. Eevee heroes, celebrations, evolutions and hidden fates all had that chase for me and good hit rates that made opening the sets a blast.

I think I actually had opened some of those 1st edition base sets too because I remember the packs, but I lost all those cards. Also they were way cheaper back in early 2000’s when I was collecting. I can’t wait to get back in this, it’s all about collectors memorabilia for me now😂💪🏼

As a 44 year old guy who only bought the first booster set and the fossil one after that then stopped, this video is a treat to sell all the different packs since then.

It brings me back to my childhood, what an expensive video to make but damn man, incredible. If only I would have took care of my cards when I was a kid I'd be rich ahaha

Pokemon in sets from expedition to ex dragon make it that in expedition,aquapolis,skyridge holo or ex is always before reverse holo so if you get holo in your pack you get holo,reverse holo and non holo rare in that pack and in sandstorm,dragon and ruby and saphire same thing but with no pack trick reverse holo and rare are in the back like in scarlet and violet.

Anything from wizards of the coast brings the fondest memories for me. The heart gold/soul silver era and black and white was great too. So many great memories with the Pokémon tcg. Thank you for sharing with us

Having to see you open up some of your own personal collection for the video was tough, unsure what my favourite pack is though but probably have to go with the 1999 base sets as that's what I used to collect, I can remember trading in my full set in a binder to some guy on the market for a few fossil packs when they first came out, but I try to block this memory 😂

you never know with packs, those at 45:00 ish you said were handled, I once got cards from a sealed booster box, DA, that had pen marking on them. Sealed booster box from a store.

It’s always an insane feeling when you see a card’s artwork and it immediately brings you back to your childhood. Without a second thought you’re like “I remember that card!”

Fossil has to be my favorite set, due to opening them with my dad & brother, when they first came out. We’d get a pack each, from the local mall, every other Friday, when we’d go out to eat as a family. Good times……

Those old blisters hit different than modern ones. Without the promos and coin they look cleaner.

My all-time favorite set of Pokemon cards is the Base Set Series. Watching you open them brings back so many fond memories of my childhood growing up back in Michigan.

I love the ex series! My first competed set was ex crystal guardians! Pure nostalgic. But if I’m honest, my favorite set would be team rocket! 😁

In adolescence I played more yu-gi-oh and usually enjoy Magic content, but the latter unpacks hit like no other, especially the texture, you can see where the light hits the card its glossy and when its got an OG orange peel reflection YES! legendary collection and beyond was when i collected. Never liked the massive yellow border but the art and how the rare cards either instantly caused a reaction or took a second to process. Anyone picking up a gem knew it was special, And that stood for something. Base set 2 was where the nostalgia hit for every sing card, rather than expecting a good pull I just wanted to reappreciate a memory each time a card hit the camera. The blister pack and dedication to opening a legitimate pack is heavily appreciated. I personally thank you for what you've done and this is a great history of packs that few can replicate. the pulls are crazy considering the odds of it opening just 1 pack each era...forget 1 pack..i dont even have that kind of luck with booster boxes. lol

It’s sad that if I want to hunt really nice energy cards, I’d have to open up RSE era packs which are crazy expensive. I’ll probably buy them separately one day.
