I just think it's awesome to look back to a year ago, when the backboard was just cardboard, the interesting thing were the 'throws'. I dont think Scarlet and Violet will be the downfall of Pokemon. I definitely think they are going down the money grab hole and its no longer what it used to be but more and more people are getting into the hobby every day and these new sets excite them. Regardless, 20 years from now, these sets could be worth as much as the vintage sets we see prices on now

Your opinion of the set is pretty spot on. It sucks in general but there are some bright spots like the pidgey line. Anyone that grew up with pokemon as a kid has a special place in their heart for the og 150.

My favorite is the Gloom Alt art . It’s beautiful art work similar style to the bulba evolution line from 151.

I agree majority of scarlet and violet sucks but that’s really the time to stay in cause people are gonna drop out of the hobby then it will boom again like it always does and we will have all the cards that no one wanted at this time. If you think about it people hated legendary collection when it came out and I remember cause I was there. People hated those reverses and said they looked like stickers. And actually people didn’t like tag team cards when they came out and look at how tag team is doing.
