Wow. I got a huge glare flash of lily white when he held up his hand to show that cut. 😳 LMAO!!! Kidding. Singer makes such an amazing car. I have had the good fortune to drive two versions and each was an absolute blast to drive. The quality of workmanship is just SO damn impressive. No detail is overlooked in these cars. But the attention paid to raising the bar on driver engagement and enjoyment of the driver experience as a top priority is abundantly clear. If you’re a true drivers car enthusiast in the market, have the funds readily available, and you take a Singer for a spirited drive, you’re done, lol. They are all around brilliant to drive at pretty much any speed. Definitely one of my all time favorite builders. No doubt. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
The automatic singers cannot be upgraded to 4.0L because the tiptronic from this generation would need beefier transmission internals to handle the power adequately. Although most are converted to 5 speed from other donor cars to get to 4.0 (Most 3.8's have been upgraded to 4.0's afterwards) keeping this transmission true to the car limits the capacity for this build.... although 3.8L from Ed Pink is nothing to sneeze at! Great color. Looks like mine!

This is the first video I’ve watched in a couple of years on this channel. It kind of lost its charm, however, this is right back to the magic. Alejandro, please keep doing these wonderful videos, the editing coupled with the fun commentary is wonderful.
You can tell this is an earlier Singer car because the motor does not have the GT3 plenums (996, nor 997). Interesting. They still made the engine bay look nicer though. But man. That stupid 90s era non-MAF intake situation just kills it lol
Singer keeps the cooling turbine on the back side. another company moves the turbine to the top to equally cool all six cylinders. The analysis was the rear two cylinders don't receive the affects of the cooling turbine, causing heating issues on the cylinders. Happy shopping.

Still, you know how biased I am in favor of Singer. My thoughts mean nothing, however. What's important is that you finally got to drive a Singer! Alejandro, I've got "issues" with you BUT I was absolutely thrilled to see you drive a Singer. When you pulled into the parking lot of Lambo Newport Beach, all those clown cars looked like a bag of skittles. No. No. No. Then you walked into the showroom. Immediately, the Porsche by Singer stood above the rest. Singer is a master of color. This blue is stunning, with depth and gravity worthy of a museum. Every detail as fine as a Swiss watch. In your own words, yes, you were a "retard" for not buying a Singer when you had a chance. That's water under the bridge. Let's move forward. Correct me if I'm wrong. I think that this 350 hp "Las Vegas" commission is an early example. Later cars were upped to 400 hp, which is more preferable. Also, this automatic, as excellent as it is, is sacrilegious. A Porsche by Singer must have a manual transmission. You know it too. I never thought I would say this about a Porsche by Singer but this car is a pass. My two favorite commissions are "New York" and "Toronto." 400 hp is a must and the Targa sits at the apex of desirability for me. I know you love cars. You constantly have the itch to buy the latest, flashiest thing, in the most garish of colors, but I've been listening to you, Alejandro. You brag about how much money you make. Well, how about sacrificing short term pleasure, putting your head to the grindstone, and saving up for the best car in the world, a Porsche by Singer? ... Just Do It!
Explain to me a 200K range Rover when the Rivian R1S costs half. What happens when these two are tested back to back, on the road, in every day life with shopping etc, hauling imaginative friends, and going off-roading for the weekend, or just surving the sketchy driveway to the hilltop mansion you accidentally bought?

It is difficult to understand the rationale behind the decision to spec/commission an automatic Singer. The decision appears to be misguided and not in line with their own business practices.
Nothing like the SVIP experience. Could spent $600K then to have a $1 million+ today, NOPE! Remember your 997 GT3 RS 4.0 with a manual. I still miss that car!
This car has to be ordered in a manual. I got upset when I only saw two peddles. How can anyone drive a 964 with an automatic? Manual shifting gives a better driving experience. I have a Ferrari 430 with a manual because I am not a fan of paddle shifting. Manuals make driving fun. I like the blue color and the tan interior of this car but I do not like the large Porsche logo in the rear.

Feeling bored? You could always dedicate rest of your life to repaying the victims of your father and grandfather (There are quite a few families of those victims so should be sufficient to fill the remaining days and you and your children and their children’s lives)
