God watching this makes me extremely sad, i remember 10 year old me selling my game cube and 27 games for the first assassins creed that had just came out like 4 other xbox games. if i could go back in time and change one thing, i would have beat my 10 year old ass for even thinking about selling my game cube

The game stores near me are such a ripoff, they sell that zelda master quest game for literally $120

Let me tell you why none of them have manuals, i bought all of my GameCube collection from GameStop years ago, and many times it would not come with a manual... so the next time I would go into GameStop I would look for other games to purchase and if I see one I already had on the shelf, I would open the case and check for a manual. If there was one in there, I’d take it. And I bet GameStop employees did this too.

You know why they gave you the nice stuff with the cases? They looked at your past videos, checked their recent orders and found yours, and tagged your account with a comment saying to send the best quality options to you. This makes GameStop look better, then when us viewers order stuff and just get loose discs the excuse is it was the “only stock on hand”. I’d bet money that they went out of their way to send you cases.

The reason Spawn was in the Xbox version was because Namco got Todd McFarlane to make the figures for them and the boss (Necrid) so as a trade off they promoted Spawn.

If you buy used stuff from GameStop use the coupon code cag16, it's 16% off anything used so I was able to get Metroid Prime 2 for a total of $13 (shipping and tax and crap). I think it's a glitch because the code doesn't expire and it's been usable for years

Ordered 2 copies of Fallout 4 for a buck each last week from GS and got 2 copies of Fallout 76 instead, dunno if I am happy or sad for getting the worng games.

Coming back three years later to say how fucking insane the prices of each of these games increased.

That Zelda bonus disc has 2 versions of Ocarina of Time. First is normal and the second is Master Quest where all the dungeons including Ice Cave (maybe other little ones as well, I can't remember anymore) are completely re-arranged. World map is same though.

I have a feeling he's being paid by Gamestop.....and the games are payment to make a horrible store, look good.

I'll never trade in my systems. I still have my Platinum Gamecube I got back in March of 2007 and it still works after not being used for 5 years. I also have my Gamecube games and their in decent shape.

This is a great haul, especially those Zelda games for the price you got them. Kudos to Gamestop for keeping these games affordable, unlike others who try to rip you off for retro gaming

Master Quest isn't a new dungeon, it's a complete re-work of EVERY single dungeon (even the mini-dungeons) to make them more reliant on puzzle mechanics and overall more challenging. The 3DS version has you taking double damage from attacks as well, but the GCN release doesn't feature this. If you like OoT, I highly recommend MQ, it's a breath of fresh air playing through such a classic game through a new scope of sorts. The dungeons are the same, but also completely different, you won't be really able to rely too much on your memory and nostalgia to guide you through.. some of them actually require thought. It's a nice change of pace over the usually very easy and welcoming Zelda pacing. The overworld and everything outside of the Dungeons is the same, though, except for the game being mirrored (I think?).

We should all take a moment and thank sports game players for supplying collectors was infinite amounts of cases to replace our broken ones. This goes for cartrage parts too!

I bought Pikmin 2 from GameStop about a decade ago for like $30-$40 + expensive custom costs cuz I’m Canadian.. and it came with a shitty case, a GameStop art cover, and the game itself was SO scratched I could not play it at all when I put it into my GameCube... when I emailed GameStop outraged, they said they wouldn’t send me a new one unless I payed to ship the broken copy I got back to them... and for a young kid I couldn’t afford to do it since I spent all my money already... so I was just S.O.L. (Y_Y) I never trusted them again after that.. :/

If you want a good Spyro game, ONLY PLAY Enter the Dragonfly if you want a rage game.... I personally don’t mind it as much as most people do... A good hidden gem on the gamecube is Medal of Honor rising sun. It plays with more modern controls than most fps games at that time.

I only got into GC this year but I've got a 'Mega Replay' (used games/movies) like 5 min away so I went EVERY day since April to be sure I got the good pickups when people would sell their good stuff.... That store is so awesome that I could afford to wait for MINT complete copies of all 19 GC games Ive picked up so far - 4 of which are mint CIB zelda GC games (all but the twilight princess one) just yesterday!!! They have a buy 5 get the 6th free, AND 20% off entire purchase for every 10 visits to the store (you just log in on a tablet at the counter....no purchase needed to build up to 10). I. Love. Mega. Replay!!!! And I love Gamecube!!!!!

wd-40 can help to soften the glue on the stickers, and then peel them out without too much work so the plastic won't stretch or warp.

I was looking thru all the gamestop retro games. Nostalgia hit me, and my childhood past. I miss simplier times when you would go to school and get everything done quick as you could to start playing games when you got home. Now we have an over-abundance of games and they dont seem to have the same impactfulness when you buy digital games compared to the old disks and cartridges. Then again, I used to think technology of games were basically magical when I was a kid, and now they seem so much more basic. I've been watching a lot of youtubers collecting old games, and even started getting some of my favorites back. It's pretty fun, as long as you dont mind spending some money on old games.

I traded everything I had(PS1/PSOne/PS2 Fat/PS2 Slim/G.Cube/N64/Dreamcast/Genesis1,2,3+32x)... I had x2 of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd "Gen" and x32 of the Genesis consoles and 200+ games for just the Genesis alone and every game for the other consoles as well)... every single GD game I had. And I sold my Dreamcast with a bad A/V cable and had to refund the D-bag half of what I sold it for, cause he couldn't read!... all for a stupid PS3(A year after it came out!)... and I didn't even make half the money for that stupid PS3 even then! But I kept my Atari(2600s, 5200s, 7800s) systems and the games/controllers... thinking they would be worth something in the future :(
