Hey! I was making my own scripts and ended up here in this video. I have a question for you. How do you get the genre from the spotify api? I tried to get the genre for my tracks on my scripts but in the spotify documentation does not appear anything to get the track genres. Thank you in advance

someone said that "I used to have a ton of genres and decade crates on my hard drive, but then dumped all my music into a single folder and created smart crates for all genres and decades. Smart crates make life simpler, for me at least". but my question is How would you manage songs if you have folders for different genres and events, each with subfolders? Dumping them all into one giant folder would create a long list, making it hard to find songs. How do you handle this?"

This is great and all but try organizing Spanish music like this 😂. There’s so many genres and sub genres it’s insane lol. It’s send you down a rabbit hole 😂

I have moved all my music into an external hard drive. I have tens of thousands of duplicates in there. I use Apple music and also serato. Can you help me manage those dulicates outside of Apple and Serato? I don't want to get rid of my playlists.

It seems so much simpler with scripts, I did everything myself track by track in serato :/ for years I don't understand the genre scripts and years were created by you? then mac os itself defines the gender and the year? Thanks for Help

Hi djceeb i've tried to upload my music library to you via wetransfer but it's not happening bro. music is all in one folder but library is big 100000 + i cant see anything on we transfer to even indicate that the folder is being up uploaded what else can i do ?

Why not provide the scripts? and tool you use? Powershell?

I have a 1800 track library that’s in one folder, when I’m doing a set I take songs out and put them in a separate folder there’s next to no organisation would this be something you’d be willing to work on?

Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems like this method is only good if you’re storing your music on your internal hdd/ssd.

Hey. I Just bought your smart crate Pack for 0.99 and when I import it just like it is explained in the Video, serato just throws them in without any order and it doesn’t find the songs. Has it something to do with my laptop(windows not MacOS). I’m really clueless rn. Maybe someone could help.
